This resort is very quite and there isnt much to do in the evenings but thats exactly what I wanted.
The people in the town are very friendly, not pushy at all. Not once did i get dragged into a shop and asked to buy something.
The beach is nice, a bit shelly but once you get nearer the sea the sand is very soft.
I will definitely be visiting Obzor again.

The resort was not clean and there was a strong smell of sewage near to the hotel. There was a night club in the resort which we did not visit, there were some bars and cafes which did not look very clean. Shopping appeared to consist of shacks/caravans there were only a few actual shops, I would not have liked to have tried to buy food in this resort !!! The beach was good the sea shelved a little the sea was a very odd colour in this resort -someone said it was sewage running into the sea from the adjacent river.

Obzor is, well probably best to say that it needs some development! The people seem a bit suspicious of holiday makers and when we were buying postcards the stall owner stood over us a bit. But they are polite with it.
Most of the shops are market stall type places. We didn't go out in the evening but understand that there's quite a night life in the bars. There is s night club too!
The beach is really nice and sandy and the Riu has a private beach which is not overcrowded. Look up the beach to the public one and it looks like Brighton when the sun comes out. Contrary to other posts, we did not get stopped or approached about buying property at all.

Beach very clean, sea lovely.

Obzor itsself was very quiet and would appeal to young family and more mature people.

Resort is quite small but we liked the feel of being somewhere "foreign" no english music and no sunday roast a la Sunny beach, beach for hotel has private area right outside which is so handy you pay for sunbeds but its about 50p beach is a bit grubby with cigarette ends ect,
Resort itself has a few bars and restaurants and we seen one big club so not Ibiza. On the whole an enjoyable holiday at the moment its very cheap even compared to the bigger resorts in Bulgaria so well worth a visit.

Resort ok,apart from the smell of dirty sewage around the hotel when you go for your night time walk.
Beach looks lovely apart from the sewage being pumped into it.
Would I visit this hotel or resort again.....? Not so likely.

Obzor is very pleasent no sunny beach (blackpool) but very quaint if you like it quite, Obzor is lovely but be careful what hotel you go to.

The village of Obzor in our oppinion was wonderful. We were so glad we did not stay in one of the purpose built resorts i.e. sunny beach/golden sands as we felt obzor still had some of the bulgarian charm about it.The village square is lovely and the shops here stock all the same things as the bigger towns do.Bedrock bar is a good one to visit for a beer, but if your eating follow the road along the beach to the little more traditional tavernas they are wonderful and you can eat whilst listenung to the waves.obzor is quiet during the day but comes to life at night when all the trees around the square light up with fairy lights and all the street entertainers come out.Enjoy a ice cold local beer for about 30p and watch the world go by. altogh obzor is still being developed it has everything it needs right now and we hope they dont build it up too much and spoil its village charm.We would definatly like to see it again in a couple of years.
