Resort is nice and close to the airport. Had our own check-in with Transat staff...quick and easy. The food was excellent...buffet..and all a la cartes...staff was wonderful..very friendly and helpful.
Beach is out of this world..not overly crowded and the beach restaurant was very handy for drinks. Lunchtime at the restaurant was the best...hot food and nice view while eating.
Premium Club members could eat at the HomeRum restaurant early in the morning...7 a.m. Everyone else had to wait til 10 to eat there. It was very private and a wonderful way to wake up every morning.
Can't say enough wonderful things about this place...go with an open mind and enjoy!!

We did not like the first room we were allocated, it had twin rather than a double bed and smelt a bit musty. We asked to be moved to a higher floor and the second room was excellent.
We thought the food was much better than in other all inclusives we've stayed in. In particular the Oriental and Italian restaurants were excellent. The buffets always had some food cooked in front of your which was a nice touch.
The beach is excellent and you can walk for miles either way. The pool area was clean and great for a dip. The hotel was only half full when we were there but I could imagine and we had no problem with loungers but I could imagine it being busy at peak season.
he drinks kept flowing, and whilst we weren't particularly into the shows, they had entertainment every night and it seemed to draw a big crowd.
All in a very enjoyable stay.
Word of advice. We flew into La Romana airport which is 2 hours coach drive away, try to go to the closer airport.
