The hotel was very clean there was always staff around attending to everything.
The main restaurant was buffet style and provided a good selection of food. They also had themed nights like Italian. Thanksgiving fell during our holiday and that was celebrated as well so that was fun. The a la carte restaurants were amazing. We didn't rate the Mexican as much I suppose it depends on how much you like Mexican food. The Mediterranean restaurant was great at night time it's really posh with beautiful food and excellent service. The Italian is very good as well but we loved having the buffet lunch there as opposed to the normal buffet restaurant. The Italian is lovely because it is open air and looks out onto the beach. Plus it was the only place we could get a signal on our mobiles! It

We had never stayed in an all inclusive resort before so we were all rather looking forward to it. Let me tell you it's well worth it especially when you have so many children.
There was plenty to do for everyone, we all like water so that helped! There was never a dull moment.
The staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for you. To be fair we were too tired in the evening to participate in any of the entertainment as we had a fun packed day of it all. The bars were still open if you wanted a quiet drink.
The gardens were very clean and tidy.
It's the best holiday I have been on so far, definitley going back (July 2005). The only critisism was the sand banks - should have had a warning that you shouldn't jump off them becasue of the extreme shallow water in parts.

We stayed at the bahia principe in june 03. myself and husband and two kids 4 and 7.
The hotel was very clean there was always someone sweeping and cleaning.The rooms were large and had a well stocked mini bar with beer and soft drinks which was filled daily.
The hotel food was nice but got repeatitive after 2 weeks, they have speciality reastarunts which you have to book for. The mexican was lovley. they also haveach snack bars if you are hungry between meal times.
The hotel is in the middle of nowhere so if you want to venture out you have to go on organised trips.the hotel is set right on its own beach with plenty of sun longers and hammocks. the hotel staff were all very friendly and helpfull and couldnt do enough for you. The entertainment at the hotel was the normal bog standard entertainment, [shows, kids disco,etc]but the staff did try really hard. yes i would return here

Bit late with this review. This hotel is great for teenagers, there is lots of sports for them to join in with adults too.
The rooms were of a good size and very clean
there is a large buffet restaurant with a very good choice of food. The entertainment at night was good the best thing was that after the shows have finished the entertainment carried on in carribean street with dancing a disco and even a small casino.
The staff are all cheerful and do their best to make sure that your holiday is the best ever. We did the monster truck trip it was pouring down with rain but boy did we have ablast! our guide was fantastic very funny man!
We would recommend this hotel to families you will have a blast.
