We have just come back from the Eleni Holiday Village in Paphos, we stayed on all inclusive basis. When reading the brochure we were impressed as it had a kids buffet which we thought would be great for our 3 year old who is very fussy with food. The brochure forgot to mention that this would only be available in the evenings and would consist of fish fingers, chicken and chips every night. The Drinks at the pool side snack bar tasted of sewage and everyone was complaining about it.

The hotel was very clean, the maid cleaned almost everyday. We weren't impressed with the location of the hotel, we were about 15mins from Paphos and Coral Bay which meant taxis or buses if we wanted to go any where.

The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and always made you feel welcome. For a family hotel we thought the entertainment was very poor every night would be a kids disco for 15 mins to 30 mins, then bingo for 30 mins then a show for 1 hour. There wasn't much going on in the day.

Although the hotel was of a good standard we wouldn't visit this hotel again. Paphos wasn't really a family holiday and there isn't much to do as a family unless you like sightseeing.

Thoroughly enjoyed a nice relaxing holiday. Hotel clean and staff very friendly, george at the pool bar is great with kids.

First choice Kids club girls excellent as was swim kids instructor. Craig and Hannah are great and put on plenty of games during the day, evening entertainment ok you'll soon be singing and dancing to Court of King Caraticus !!.

Good choice of food but can be a bit repetative. Drinks ok not watered down at all, just ask for larger measures. Location is not that good but it is on a good bus \ taxi route.

If you want a sun bed at the shallow end of the pool get up at 6 am !! Dad's take plenty of 50 cents for the pool table and the xbox. Would go again some day.

Excellent hotel apartment!!! Just returned from a week in paphos with my partner staying at the Eleni and it was our most enjoyable holiday to date. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Entertainment was brilliant. We especially enjoyed the magician/illusionist. Our room had a lovely balcony view of the swimming pool and the sea, perfect. Our room was cleaned spotless by the maids.

Location did not bother us, that it was a bus ride away from paphos harbour as it was less busy and quiet with plenty of facilities, such as the mini market and restuarents accross the road. Highly recommended!!!!

We have just returned home from a fantastic weeks stay at the Eleni holiday village. The food was very varied and very tasty something for everyone (it even pleased our 2 children who are 4 and 7).

The hotel was very clean and the maids came in every other day. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed the entertainment in the evening although it was very child based.

Our 2 children especially looked forward to the mini disco and bingo. The kids club was wonderful lots and lots to do with different activities each day. There were also swimming lessons on offer at a reasonable price.

The only draw back to the hotel was the location as there was nothing around the complex and it would have nice to go for a stroll in the evening, but there was a bus service that ran every 10-15mins into Paphos and Coral Bay 70cents per adult 50cents per child single fare regardless of the journey length.

We would visit this hotel again as a nice relaxing young family hotel.

We arrived on the Sunday, a bit late as weather flying over was not great. Hotel looked great! We booked in and set off to find the room, we were greeted by a lovely old man who helped carry our bags. I was there as my brother got married. We unpacked and set off for a meal.

Got our taxi (really cheap approx 1 pound per person)we went to the main part of Paphos.

We really loved the hotel and the staff were great. I am already looking for our next holiday in the same resort and hotel! I would recommend anyone with a family or first time in Paphos to stay at the Elini holiday village you will have a class time!

The hotel and rooms were spotless with first class maid service 5 times a week

The food was buffet style hot and cold 1st class my only
gripe was the pool bar was closed for snacks between 12 noon and 3 pm while the main resturaunt was open some times you maybe wanted a snack dinner time and not a main meal but had to wait until 3pm for this which then meant you would have to have a late dinner in the evening

Hotel Location was a bit out the way but pleanty of taxis availible and bus service every 20 mins to town up to 7pm

Hotel staff were very friendly 1st class our favourite
was John from the main resteraunt lovely guy

Hanna & Craig were first class entertainers who always
had a smile for the guests and the kids and done the best with the budget they were given

They hotel could have done with some outside acts a bit more often

Overall this is a good value for money holiday and you could do a lot worse

Thanks for a great time

This hotel is rated as 4* in the first choice brochure but is more like a 1*. Our room was disgusting!!!!!

Ants were everywhere (on the floors, worksurfaces, in the toaster). The room stank of stagnant water and the bath and shower curtain were covered in mould. The food was of cheap quality and was anything but appetising.

The entertainment is more for families with kids and if you like agadoo then you'll be ok. We ended up paying to be transferred to another hotel as this one was so diabolical!!!!

We would definately not stay here again.

Stayed at the Eleni Holiday Village, Paphos in November on family of five all inclusive deal. Hotel cleanliness and food were excellent, staff most polite and very helpful, entertainment most suitable for families.

Pool area very impressive, clean, safe and ideal for children. Location not ideal if you wanted to spend time away from the complex, but we were more than happy to spend the days at the poolside with the children so the poor location was irrelevant to us.

Good value for money and a complex we would certainly intend returning to in the near future.

The hotel was in it's first season when we were there. The room was great - very spacious with a kitchen area despite us being half board. Rooms were cleaned daily and all of the staff were very friendly.
The hotel was a bit out of Paphos, but the bus stop was right outside the hotel and it was only a short journey to either Paphos or Coral Bay.

Entertainment was excellent. The staff were fantastic with my deaf son and included him in all activites.

Food was great - we didn't have a bad meal in the week we were there. We found the drink and any food we bought quite expensive, but we had the option of upgrading to all inclusive for a very reasonable cost. We didn't take up this offer as we only had a few days left of our holiday, but wish that we had upgraded at the beginning of the holiday.
