You really can't go wrong in choosing this hotel. From the moment we arrived we felt we had made the right choice. It really does deserve its 5 star status. Our accommodation was classed as a bungalow, much of the accommodation is in separate blocks of about 11 rooms, our room was large and airy with a vaulted ceiling. The air con was great. Bathrobes and slippers provided. Fridge, wine, fruit and flowers provided on arrival. Fresh bath/beach towels every day, cleaned to a high standard, decorated and furnished to a high standard. The bathroom was of a reasonable size again well maintained and cleaned, and had a window so non of the stuffy bathrooms which we have endured elsewhere.

The food was fine, got a bit boring towards the end of our holiday, we couldn't fault them too much as there was so much to choose from. They did seem to favour pork!! Our son (10) did find the selection a bit limiting, but that said it forced him to try something a bit different at times, he always reverted back to spaghetti bolognaise which was on the menu every night!! Drinks are expensive 18euro for a bottle of house wine and 4.20euro for bottled water. Breakfast was very good again everything you could possibly want for breakfast was provided couldn't really find any fault there at all.

The grounds, pool area and beaches were all maintainted to a high standard. We loved to bigger of the pools with the lazy river, the saltwater pools did take a bit of getting used to but there are plenty of showers around to swill off. The beach is mainly shingle,(man made beach nearer the pools) and would advise you take aqua shoes to protect your feet if wish to swim in the sea. Snorkle and mask are also a good idea to view the fish swimming around your legs. Plenty of sunbeds by the pools and on the beaches, even at 1pm you were likely to to find a vacant sunbed.

We found all the staff (but a couple, may have been a bad day for them, we all get them!!) to be very friendly, and when we did need assistance they were in attendance immediately, from reception to housekeeping, restaurant and maintenance the were all excellent and couldn't fault them.

We don't go on holiday to be entertained therefore can't comment on the hotel entertainment, by the time we had finished our evening dinner it was 10pm most nights and we were ready to enjoy a peaceful time on the balcony overlooking the sea. They showed a film most nights and there was outside entertainment a few nights a week at the Taverna at the pool area.

If we have to be critical of this hotel is its location. We were fully aware of its distance from Kos town when we booked (4km) but were were hoping that the footpaths would have been better that we could have had a stroll in the evenings. There is nothing outside the hotel other than a mini market across the road (lots cheaper than the hotel shop!) with a gokart track and tiny bar area. However the bus stop is directly outside the hotel and we found the service to be very efficient running on time each time we ventured into Kos Town.

We would definitely revisit this hotel, if you are looking for a complete getaway chill out kind of holiday this hotel can provide it.

Without exception this is the cleanist hotel that we have ever stayed at. With towels and bedding changed daily.

The range of food available was exstensive. A large range of vegetarian options available daily. There really was something for everyone's taste, including meat cooked all ends of the scale (rare through to well done). The range of deserts was vast. Although children may find the food not quite to their taste and drinks in the resteraunt were slightly expensive.

There was a film shown every night in the hotel (in English, with Greek subtitles). Also in one of the tavernas on the complex there was a family disco every evening, followed by a variety of acts such as acrobats, magicians etc. For a more sophisticated evening, the piano bar offered a classy and relaxing atmosphere.

The hotel staff were more than helpful and friendly, they couldn't do enough for you, to the point where you literally don't need to lift a finger. From carrying luggage to and from your room, bringing drinks to you at the poolside. the staff were particularly helpful and aimiable with families and children.

We intend to return to this hotel again within the near future, as the standard was so high.
