Our ages range from 64 to 10 and we have just got back from one of the best holidays we have had,

We knew it was a very quiet area and all we did was laze around one of the six pools on the many sun beds, the English were just as bad at reserving them as any of the other nationals there so no complaints. The First Choice reps, and entertainers,10 altogether, yes 10,plus the Italian reps, could not have tried harder to keep everyone happy. Special thanks to Katie from Jed for her help.

The hotel is spotless as are the rooms and the food is typical hotel food catering for all tastes we all put on weight!

Nana and granddad went to Rhodes on the Thursday trip whilst we had the kids and they had the kids on Monday so we could have a day there shopping in the old town. Also one night in Lindos is enough, very hot and narrow streets all the shops selling the same tat. A very good holiday, thanks to all the staff, reps and entertainers see you soon.

I too read the reviews and really looked forward to what we assumed was to be a great holiday. Not to be at all.

When we arrived the reception staff were very friendly. 5 of us went- me, my partner and 3 kids - 16.14 and 9. We were told our room would be a family room. For what family I don't know but you can't swing a cat in them.

The lighting is terrible, they are carpeted and never vacuumed only swept. Gaping holes under the front door so you sleep with all the creatures looming about during the night (obviously we were ground floor).

Oh yes and I think you should be aware that there is a nice building site next door. Noisy from approx 7 am and it looks like it will be there most of the summer season.

The rooms are not fully air conditioned as stated in the brochure - only one room has a small unit and is pre set to 18 degrees

The sun bed situation - dyer there just aren't enough and the hotel is majority German and Italian so unless you are up early and reserve a bed (which they ask you not too but nobody pays any attention) you wont get one.

The weather - great

The food - very average but edible

The animation team are great - hard workers thats for sure but there is little entertainment at night and bear in mind you are out in the sticks - nothing local for you to go to.

I would not advise anyone to try this hotel, during the 7 days we were there the rep left, another came and the complaints from holiday makers were growing.

We arrived at 5am the hotel staff were very friendly, when we got to our room it was very small for the 5 of us,1 of the kids slept in a camp bed but to be honest we were never in our room much so it didnt matter.

The weather was very hot from 8am til 7pm the meals were lovely. The pool bar staff were very nice still kept smiling even although some of the other guests didnt say please and thankyou. The tip jar was always empty please give them a tip now and again they really do deserve it!Loads of Germans and Italians! We didnt use the hotel pool as people were putting towels on the sun beds the night before!

Go down to the private beach it was lovely the watersports were great and the guy that runs it was very friendly.

Didnt want to come home and am in the process of booking again next year.It is very remote but buses and taxis are good and we hired a car for the day from the hotel for 35 euros went to Rhodes lovely old town surrounded by leather and gold shops.Roll on next July!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The food is cold and repetitive, what you eat in the food hall you get at the snack bar during the day. The food hall is a bun fight, there are not enough tables to accommodate all the guests and people get very angry and do not cue.

The pool bar only has one member of staff working and therefore the queues get rather large - get as many as you can in one time. Don't go to the Greek night it is a total waste of time and if you complain and ask for your money back the animation team do everything they can to avoid you.

The kids club is not free there is quite alot that you have to pay for and it is not run by First Choice.

Beware of over friendly hotel reception staff when you need a taxi or medical attention they are on commission and will do everything they can to send you to a really bad doctor/dentist because they get a cut - even the local taxi drivers will not take you to them!.

My family have stayed at loads of all inclusive hotels and this one is a 2* not a 4.

The bedrooms are tired and if you sleep in watch out you get shouted at by the room cleaners who do not like to be kept waiting or working around your clothes on the floor from the night before.

If you enjoy a budget holiday this one is for you but if you have never been to an all inclusive don't chose this one as it is not value for money and what is stated in the brochure is not what you get.

Cleanliness of the hotel was very good. The family room was spacious with two separate bedrooms.

Food was good, but not enough variety, especially for children, unless the kids ate at the kids sitting at 6.30pm, which ours never did.

Very busy in the hotel restaurant and pool bar, often queueing for drinks during the day.

Nothing outside the hotel, which we knew before we booked . Bus stop outside is handy for day trips to Pefkos and Lindos, which are well worth the visit.

Entertainment okay if you like that sort of thing. Kids pirate ship and splash pool excellent. Main pool area very poor, too busy, not enough sun beds, deep water. Towels on all sunbeds by 7am (not just the Germans, English mainly).
Kids club good for keeping the kids out of sun for couple of hours a day.

Overall, food and drinks were disappointing, but we still enjoyed ourselves. The weather was excellent and kids had a great time.

We travelled as a large group, and overall had a good holiday.

We found out during our second week if you called at the reception in the Miraluna Village you could get a pass and use their pool, but it was frowned upon if you ate or drank there (this is the picture in the brochure), as you didn't have a band on.

Well done to the animation team Kate, Tom, Jerry, Roy, Aurel, Arthur and DJ Latzi, all hard workers and my kids cried on the way home (they waved us off on our bus) The entertainment in the evening is ok, some shows are fantastic, Greek night is a waste of money (so we were told) - same show is shown on a Sunday nite in the amphitheatre.

Food was Ok, always something to eat and not at all repetitive, no fruit available at the snack bar, only chips, burgers etc, good for kids! drinks are OK, and it is ALWAYS ouzo time when you go to the snack bar! (neck a shot) Don't bother reserving a table for a special occasion, we tried to twice, as we had two birthdays, but there was never a table for us, which was disappointing that we had to spilt up.

Hi
Just got back from the Kiotari bay hotel, and what a holiday.
There are about 6-7 pools (bit cold tho) and a lovely indoor pool which is lovely and warm.
The main people who stay here are English, Germans and Italians. But don't worry, you can always get a sun bed, we managed it even after mid-day.

The food was lovely and always hot, they always kept the food in rotation so it was never sat there for ages. Had a great choice of dishes every day, never repetative, altho here was always chips, rice and pasta every day. They even have two chefs on a hot wok cooking. We sat in the outside of the resturant every day which was cooler than inside and we always got a table. If you ever miss any of the meal times, don't worry, just pop across to the other resturant bit and they do hot and cold food in there as well as drinks and ice cream til about 6-7pm (my little boy loved it) and there is about 5 or 6 different flavours.

Hotel staff were great, very friendly and are always smiling.

What we saw of the kids clubs were great, even tho my little fella is only 2 he couldn't go in them, only the creche but decided to keep him with us. They do all different things with them and you could tell the kiddies really enjoyed themselves playing cowboys (and girls) and indians... pirates... playing in the pools etc... There's also a playground there for the little ones... slides, a round-a-bout thing, swings etc, my little one loved it.

The entertainment was great, read some reviews before we went saying nothing was in english, but it was, when we asked the animation guy he said that it was like that last season before he came back but they got it changed as it wasn't fair.
Some of the shows were really funny especially the ladies night, a great laugh.
The english entertainment is down at the ampi theatre from 9pm til 11-11.30, and it starts with a mini disco for the kids which is great fun. lol and then bingo, but don't worry, even that's funny and a show after that!

the kids have a pool with i pirate ship in with slides etc, and another one by it with water jets which is very very shallow.

The rooms were a bit on the basic side, but lets face it, who goes on holiday and spend all their time in their room? It was cleaned every day and to be honest, it was really hot begining of june and i wouldn't want the cleaners job there in that heat!

The on site shop is pretty good, sells a range of things and the american lady is nice and pretty funny and she will take orders for anything you would like, ciggies, booze etc just tell her what you would like and the quantity and she will get them in and you just pick it up.

Every morning the hotel was cleaned... we never saw it dirty and for the amount of people staying there, they had their work cut out.

They are expanding this hotel even more, but you hardly hear the building work and it's outside of the main areas, so nothing is affected!

I would definately come back to this hotel but will stay for 2 weeks next time! We had a lovely time here and if you have booked to come here then you won't be upset unless you're one of those people who are never satisfied with anything. Happy hols!

Have recently come back from 2 weeks at Kiotari bay in Rhodes, unfortunately it was not as good as we were expecting, We felt that the restaurant was far too small for the amount of people there and there was only 5 high chairs, as 2 families travelling together we needed 2 at every meal which was a struggle to find. The staff are very friendly and do work very hard. We thought the food was very below average for all inclusive (which we go on every year) the fruit and salad were very limited and there were only 7 dishes to choose from every night two of which were always pasta and chips the children's menu was also pasta and chips with bolognaise sauce and the occasional fish finger.

We were very lucky with our rooms as they were right on the main pool area which was lovely and the rooms were very spacious with plenty of wardrobe space too, The english channel on the TV was bbc world. With no children's channel which you seem to get at most all inclusives. I'm sorry to say that the sun beds are few and far between and not only do you have to beat the Germans at there own game but the Italians were reserving there sun beds from the previous day!!

We did have a good holiday as a holiday is what you make it and as we only get one a year you have to make the most of it, but we will not be going back and we will be writing to first choice as a number of things advertised in the brochure were not there, there was no ball bit, bouncy castle, tennis court, giant chess to name a few things.

We met a couple of families who visited Kiotari bay last year and they had said how lovely it had been which is why they had come back but it seems to have gone slightly downhill.

The complex were not very hot on safety & we encountered electricity boxes with fronts missing, broken tiles (which our children cut feet on!!)wires hanging from the ceiling and lots more, so be very careful when you let your children run around....

Had to have this hotel as we booked a 5* all-inclusive hotel elsewhere in Kiotari, but apparently it was over-booked!

This hotel was absolutely apalling and definitely not to be reccommended! Paint peeling off pool. Pool dirty. Rooms dirty. Reception area never cleaned. No way is it a 5*. My rating would be 2* at most.

Food was cold. Canteen area was like a cattle-market. Staff were obviously not happy for us to be there, very unhelpful, moody and downright rude on occasion.

I was in a party of 4 to arrange my wedding at the Rodos village which had been reccommended, we were told we could not use their facilities and feel we have to postpone our wedding plans as we feel we cannot go ahead as planned in case a similar thing happens again.

There was no entertainment as we imagined there would be. The beach area was not of the standard we expected and we had to pay for the sun-beds which we were told we would have included in our package.
