We have been to the Barbie Apartments for 4 years now and we want to carry on going there. Barbie and Vengelis make you very welcome. Everything is kept very clean.

We were looking for a late holiday this year and the computer came up with the Barbie Apartment in Rhodes. My first thoughts were of pink parasols and heart shaped pools but after a quick check on this site, and seeing the very positive feedback we decided to book.
We were not disappointed, everything we had been told turned out to be true. The apartments were first class, friendly, exceptionally clean, and very reasonably priced. They are well located close to the centre of Triada but in a quiet area with little traffic. You can have breakfast, lunch and evening meals at the apartments or walk to one of the excellent restaurants which are within a few hundred wards. One that we liked was The Knights of Olde which is on the Main Street in Trianda and has a delicious selection of Greek food, by far the best we have had on any of our Greek Island Holidays.
This was our first visit to Rhodes and I was very impressed, there is lots to see and do and the weather was perfect in early October. From Trianda it is only an eight euro taxi ride to Rhodes town and well worth a visit. The Old Town is particularly interesting, as is the harbour and the Grandmasters Palace. If you prefer shopping the new town has all the designer shops and big stores.
The only down side to Triada are the beaches, they are all pebbly but the water is clear and warm once you get in. Don

Good snack bar type food available from early till late. Popular at breakfast time where you could fill up for 5.50, it kept you going till dinner.
Drinks cheapest in resort--2.00 for 500ml. beer. Rooms and public area kept clean and no problems with towels/bed linen and emptying the dreaded bathroom bin!!
Apartments are a 2 minute walk from Trianda centre and Ialyysos is an easy walk. Greek night was an absolute joy, lots of food and you were entertained by Traditional Greek Dancers who, of course, got everyone to join in!! Barbara and Vangelis could not have been more helpful and were always available, should you need them.
Nice mix of people at Barbie, English, Irish and Dutch.
Would have no hesitation in going back to the Barbie.
