The Minerva is nothing short of paradise with a capital P!
The views are to die for, the food is magnificent, the rooms are so beautiful - every one different, the staff are wonderful - from the charming gentlemen on reception to the smartly turned out waiters who are so helpful and friendly but not obsequious (it is like fine-dining every night) Tonino the head waiter sees all and quietly but efficiently controls all - and he is a cross between Prince Charming and Father Christmas! The pool area is spotless and run by a most concientious and delightful man!I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough - do yourself a favour and treat yourself!!
There was no entertainment mentioned in the brochure so we were not expecting any, but on three nights there was either a singer/keyboard player or a gala dinner with a band.
The rooms were cleaned every day and the bed linen was changed every day (so were the towels if you left them in the bath). We would definately return.
