Don't go, its not clean, or that central. Rooms very basic. Entertainment very poor. Staff are very unprofessional. The reviews on one other review site owned by a tour operator are biased. Its not that great honestly.

The resort is wonderful along with our stay at the Hotel Del Corso. The staff were very helpful and we found the resort wonderful, central location and perfect! Would definitely return.

You arrive at Naples Airport, it's a hanger, horrible and you think oh no, then get outside and start to relax. Sorrento is a great place but if you want a quiet holiday forget it. The drivers on the roads are nothing short of mental, especially people on mopeds and motorbikes. Sorrento is built on a cliff so no beaches as such, just bathing platforms. You can walk down to them but it's a precarious walk, we went on the dotto train and saw them that way but never once did we get into the med during this holiday, this disappointed us as we like at least one dip in the sea.
If you like shopping then this is the place to go. Also, there is lots to do, boat trips, Mount Vesuvius to climb, Pompeii and Herculaneum. Be warned though, doing the Pompeii and Herculaneum trip in one day is exhausting. The weather was generally very good apart from one day it rained. Street cafe's everywhere and little markets.
Everything is yellow because of the lemons growing everywhere. If you hate lemons you'll hate the local drink Lemoncello. Looking at the coastline it is amazing especially when you're flying home because you see Sorrento the way it should be seen from above. A manic holiday with no rest but worth at least one visit.
