Resort is very clean and there are a few shows dodgems etc for kids to keep them amused. No hussle bustle or discos more of a family themed resort which pleased us.
Beach is small but clean would most definitely visit this resort and hotel again for sure

Escana is a very pleasant, compact resort. You can walk around the shops or sit and have a drink. The ferry offers a very relaxing day out.

I have been visiting Es Cana for the last 6 years with my family. I feel it has something to offer for all !
Plenty of restraunts, bars and a lovely beach. I find it a very welcoming and friendly resort.

The beach is pretty but very small & get's overcrowded in no time, a bit smelly too, there is plenty of shops, and the hippy market is a bit of a walk and not that interesting. there are amusments and rides for the kids.

The entertainment is pure quality with something for every one, plenty of bars with quizzes and bingo , and Charlies on the sea front with live bands every night.

Nice little resort, beach was a bit of a let down but has some nice little bars and restaurants. The resort is a nice size, you could walk from one end to the other in 10 minutes. No yobs wandering about but not a dead end place either. Will definatelly return.

Es cana is very British, very friendly, with a relaxed but fun atmosphere.

I love Es Cana. The bars and restaurants were excellent, the beach lovely and clean, and I definately recommend a trip on Popeye`s Ferry Boat! The fairground opened every night. Plenty shops, a good pharmacy. I enjoyed my visit to the hippy market ( be aware of pick pockets! )and spent loads.
If you want a resort that caters for everything you need but is not "in your face", then Es Cana is the one for you.
Best of all, no timeshare pests!!!!!

The resort is somewhat isolated with effectively 3 beaches, 1 outside the Sol Sa'gamassa Hotel, 1 a few hundred metres along the front towards Santa Eulalia in a small bay and 1 by far the biggest & best along the front towards Es Cana - many people walk from Es Cana to use this beach rather than the resort one. All 3 have watersports available to some extent.
Apart from 3 larger Hotels and a handful of Apartment Complexes there is not much else there, a few Beach Bar/Restaurants and 2 off-beach Restaurants that we found.
Es Cana is a 20-25 minute walk away if you go via the beach mentioned above but at least double that if you go via the road. As the Beach route is unusable in the dark and street lighting is lacking, you will need transport to get anywhere with any life to it.
For an away from it all holiday it is ideal, for the younger set I'd advise somewhere else!

The resort was reallt clean-never once saw any rubbish on the streets.
There was always something to do-there was a lovely little fair for the kids across the road from our hotel that opened in the evenings-my little boy loved it there and my little girl will too this year when we cos now that she has learnt to walk.
The beach was lovely and clean but it sloped down as it went into the sea which I didn't really like becasue of the kids.
This didn't put us off though as we're going again in 3 weeks time.
