Es Cana is small but we found it had everything we needed. The resort was very clean. We did not travel to all bars in the resort but Charlies Bar was close to our hotel and seemed to cater for everyone depending on what time of the night that you visited.
The later it got the more adult the entertaiment became. We did not use the beach but it did seem very clean. We were half board so we did not have to eat outside of the hotel. I think most of the resturants served quite british food.
I did not see what I would think was a top quality resturant but we did not look to be fair. We would and are visiting this resort again. We were actually recommended this resort originally by a couple who have been going there for fifteen years.

Resort excellent for familys and couples not what you think of when you think of Ibiza. I would go again .

Not a lot to do in es cana.The beach was ok but the sea had
a lot of litter in it, seaweed and the dreaded jelly fish.

This resort is very bucket and spade.. lots of restaurants
and a few bars.. charlies bar is great fun, with the entertainer ben.. lots of choice of food from chinese to traditional spanish... beach is clean and great watersports.. there are jelly fish but there are people that try to clear them...
I would definatly come back to this resort again... if heard that the es cane apts are really good so maybe try there

Es Cana as a resort is lovely. It is very sea-sidey and has a lovely atmosphere. It is a very safe resort with virtually zero crime rate. No one had a bad word to say about Es Cana and it is probably the best family resort on the Island. There is the right amount of shops, bars and restaurants etc. The Hippy Market on a Wednesday is great and it means this is the busiest day in the resort. For watersports visit Ceasars Watersport centre on the next beach down towards Santa Eulalia - we jetski'd it was great and we didnt get frowned upon for turning it over. Other activities include pedalos, waterskiing, sailing etc. From the beach at Es Cana you can ride on the banana and a couple of other inflatable type things. You can also go on the glass bottomed boat - only an hour, which was good - dont expect too much from the ship wreck though. Also trips to other places on the Island and a train which will take you on 3 different trips. Nice perfume shop called Grucho - or something like that. A lovely place that I would definitely visit again.

I've been to Es Cana 3 times great for families I've just not found a great Hotel there yet. I think I'll give it a miss for a while now.
But the beach is perfect for fishing, crab fishing dead safe for the Kids, my daughter loved it we couldn't get her out of the water

Didn't really visit Es Cana much, considering there was so much on offer at our hotel but when we did go out, it was much like any other spanish resort... souvenir shops, inflatables, english bars and so on. the beach was quite nice although beware the jellyfish!!! The bus station and taxi rank were very central and conveniently placed and there is a funfair for the kids that comes alive every night, so make sure you've got some euros in your pocket if you do go out! The resort could do with some paths being built though as you do have to walk in the road in places. On the whole,a pleasant and friendly resort.

Es Cana is a nice resort with good views and walks. Nice clean beach with a reasonable range of activities without being too commercial.
Also advice hiring a car and taking in other sites like Ibiza Town (particularly the old town) and Sant Elualia
Ibiza Town in particular is breathtaking and well worth a visit
