I like it. Most rooms have a sea view, the higher you go the better itd be. Youll have to walk uphill. As youd expect. Its worth it.

Rooms that are pool facing. All the restaurants we tried were very good.
There aren’t any water parks in the resort apart from the one in the large hotel for hotel guests.

Portinatx is an old fishing village which has had 3 large All Inclusive hotels built in it.This makes it hard for shops and bars to compete with them,making it a quiet resort.It is situated on the north of the island and has the most stunning beaches and coves on the whole Island.The town itself is in a bay with two lovley beaches.There is the usual array of watersports.A strong aroma of raw sewage can be smelt at various places.More so at the bigger of the beaches.But didnt spot any and beaches cleaned every night.Quiet resort better suited to couples and older people and familes.

The resort is lovely and picturesque, the beaches are really clean and sandy.
The entertainment in the resort is well not very good we found 2 bars in the little square which we had to visit nearly everynight as there was nothing else to do, that had karaoke and singers on and disco till early hours but that was all really could do with a few more bars there not for teenagers or young couples.
Vincents bar is really good very friendly and good measures of drinks not to expensive. We probably wouldn't go there again by the 2nd week wed really had enough couldnt wait to get home but for those with young kids that just want sand sea and bed for 9 then thats good.

Nice resort if you want a quiet holiday. Not many restaurants and only a few shops even the dreaded Del Boy's Bar. You can get the buses here to go to Ibiza Town (*worth a visit).

Portinatx is an absolutely stunning resort with three little beaches. The first two are basically right next to each other down "cardiac hill" and the third is about a 10 minute walk, but I don't recommend this one as it isn't as clean as the other two and it smells of drains!
you can take bread into the sea to feed the fish but watch out for the jellyfish (one swam past my foot and I never went in again! Two minutes later a wee boy got stung by one.
I don't know much about the entertainment as I stayed in the hotel most nights, but my mum and dad went to Delboys (they have a yellow three-wheeled van!!) and a couple that we met said that the drag act at Vincents was excellent (theyre in their 70s!)

The resort is very pretty with 2/3 beaches (some harder to find than others!) The beach is raked every day and though there is seaweed it isn't a problem. The bars in the resort seemed a bit tacky (Del Boys, Vincents etc) only seemed to be frequented by a certain type of brit., and the tables needed cleaning. The bars near the small beach looked nicer and played good music til late. Would not recommend this resort for teenagers but it is perfect for couples wanting a 'chill out' relaxing holiday in a beautiful place.

Unfortunately, Portinatx is a very small resort. The resort centre consists of a couple of tourist shops, supermarkets and bars plus a pharmacy and a couple of clothes shops. You can walk round the whole thing in less than half an hour. It was a nice, clean resort and the beach was very good and not overcrowded but it was far too quiet for us so not somewhere we would go back to.

There isnt mich to do in Portinax. A few shops, Del boys bar is very good.
The bus service is poor. The Thomas Train goes to different resorts and short tours, very good for mums dads and kids.
Very quiet resort and relaxing.
Not very flat, lots of hills and steps.
Lovely beach, water ski school, banana and ring rides. Small water park. Pedal boats, and small motor boat hire.

As a resort the beach was lovely but outside of hotel. portinax very quiet town not much to do.

I have visited this resort 4 times now and absolutely love it. Not to loud but not to quiet, enough to do and easy access to other resorts by bus or taxi.
