My friend and I stayed at this hotel in July with her 14 year daughter and friend and I would definitely recommend this hotel, very clean and a great location.
We were on a half board basis, the food was nice and a good variety at breakfast and dinner, the only disappointing thing was you were not given a drink with your evening meal and had to buy one which was approx. 10-15 euros each evening, given the fact it was half board you would expect at least one free drink even if it was a bottle of water.

This is our third visit to this hotel, and I have never been able to find any fault at all. The food is excelent, the rooms are spotless and the staff are friendly. The hotel is in a close enough walking distance if you want a night out anywhere in San Antonio, and is quiet if you want to stay in. We have never spent an evening in the hotel and I do believe the entertainment is fairly non existent but with so many places to visit nearby, this has never been a problem. A real gem of a hotel.

we have just returned from a week in hotel bellamar, ibiza.
this hotel is excellent, should have a 5 star rating, great location, quiet, only a walking distance from all the nightclubs etc, So you could choose, go partying or have an early night.
the hotel was very clean, and as for the food, we could not have got anything better, normally when we go half board, we would eat out a couple of nights, but the food was that good that we ate in the hotel the whole week
the staff were all very friendly. the only problem was the lack of entertainment in the evenings,only a few nights, more of the quests might have stayed around the bar if they had this.

On arrival, reception area was immaculate, we were greeted by reception staff with excellent English, which made the booking in process very easy.
Although arrived just before noon, room was available.
Room was quiet spacious (for 2), with well equipped bathroom and very clean, all furnished to quite a high standard.
Balcony area quite large, although not much privacy as glass opaque screens divide each room from the next.
Rooms were cleaned every day with towels changed daily and linen every 2 days.
Resteraunt well laid out with plenty of space and tables. Resteraunt staff continually clearing tables and ensuring kept tidy throughout meal times.
At Breakfast (continental & cooked) and Dinner a variety of meals were served, pasta, salad, fish, meat and poultry most nights. All food served hot and very well cooked.
Bar competively priced, although service a little slow. Although table service operated, we did have to order at the bar a few times as a result. Again very clean and spacious area both indoors and outdoors.
Pool table available in bar at only 1 euro per play.
Entertainment was limited, with only 2 acts during the week we stayed, although both acts were entertaining.

The Hotel Bellamar is without a doubt truly a 4* establishment.
The rooms were immaculate and cleaned every day, bathroom was superb, infact the whole hotel was spotlessly clean.
The food was a bit repetitive, but excellent none the less.
As for someone saying there are always sun beds, I do not agree, each morning at 7am we saw people putting their towels on the sun beds, they then wandered off and you never saw them using them till later in the day. These people were not only Germans but many English did this.
As far as the rooms being soundproofed, I would not agree, the sliding balcony door is double glazed, but it does not make the rooms sound proof, no way is this true. Also if you are unfortunate to have a lady or some young girls or even an elderly gentleman above you in a higher room that are wearing heels or segged shoes then be prepared to be disturbed, this is because the floors are tiled. We unfortunately had some very annoying people who made a great deal of noise clip clopping up and down the room and dragging their furniture about late every night. So I would advise you to request a high room. But may I say we have stayed in this part of Ibiza for many years and I can honestly say this is the best hotel on the Island for comfort, amenities, food and location.
Great location only 10 to 15 minutes walk from the marina and shopping area of San Antonio Bay. You are not allowed to smoke in the hotel, just in your room and the entertainment is almost none existent.

Very up market hotel in a beach front location.
Breakfast was first class with a varied choice for the multi - national clientele.
Surprising number of American holiday - makers.
The entertainment is not to clever with occasional pianist /vocalist.
Hotel is very, very quiet hardly any children in attendance, so any noise around the pool was sort of tut tutted.
Not really family orientated hotel but very pleasant for a pamper holiday.
Breakfast was first class with a varied choice for the multi - national clientele.
