There are a few restaurants around the apartments We ate at the cafe on the opposite side to the lighthouse restaurant they both do tapas ( cant remember the name ) and loved it!
although most people went into the main town of St Eulalia to what was called restaurant street where there was lots to choose from, i can highly recommend the mexican!

Sta Eulalia is a 15 min walk ( in the hot hot sun ) where you will find a lively town, lovely beach and harbour plenty of shops, banks and restaurants, almost behind the town hall you will find the bus station where you can travel cheaply around Ibiza.
I can recommend Ibiza town ( Elivissa )especially the old town which was wonderfull although i wish we had gone in the evening as it was far too hot to really explore and at night its all lit up and would have been fantastic!

Es Canar is a short bus ride in the opposite direction(1.45 Euros ) and is far more an english resort with less expensive restaurants and a lovely beach, you can even get a sunday roast ( we found out too late )
there is a little train that leaves and tours around to Sta Eulalia stops to let you look around then brings you back it takes about 3hrs and cost about 7 Euros for an adult as i remember.
Opposite the beach there are a few restaurants, one we ate in was lovely, that served a 3 course meal for 9 euros some spanish some english food and not just the usual rubbish on offer for the kids either my 8yr old loved his squid rings! the other two had roast chicken hubby had swordfish! (sorry if i sound obsessed with food but these thing are important)
Es Canar also has its famous Hippy Market on a wednesday ( a little like camden if you've ever been )
its a popular day to go and gets very busy!

You can walk the coast to Es Canar from the apartments as the rep will tell you but be warned it can get a bit treturous ( not suitable for the very young or old ) and make sure you take some water ( you'll need it ) that said i loved it we did it twice once with the kids and mum ( 71, 9 , 8 & 5 and took us 2&1/2 hrs ) just me n hubbe took 1&1/2 hrs with a stop for snack on the way! there are some wonderfull views and 4 beaches on the way.

just to address the road safety issues and the comment about dog poo!

we found the traffic to be perfectly safe there are two paths to walk we found walking on the left towards Sta Eulalia the best option! although not convinced they have the same laws with regard pedestrian crossings so we just took it easy crossing the road! not an opton walking to Es Canar too hot and too far! get the bus!
As for the dog poo, maybe they dont always pick it up but no worse than England and at least it dries out quick someone must be keeping the streets clean because it wouldnt stay there long. overall a very clean resort!

We found the water upset our stomaches so drink bottled water ( very cheap at supermarket )
Take extra suncream its a hot island and it will cost around 17 euros if you run out as we did.
Ladies! i didnt wear half the clothes i took was far too hot lived swimmers during the day with something loose to cover up on days out! same for the kids.
If your going sightseeing take plenty if ice water it soon melts!

smokers! (you naught lot ) you can only purchace them from the Tobbacs which are closed on a sunday !

The resort is really lovely with a long promenade and at the far end a very nice river walk. There are plenty of shops to wander through and a small market just off the prom, which seems open every day. The beach is nice and sandy and always clean. Local bars cater for many tastes and everyone is very friendly and polite. This is our second visit to this resort as we so enjoyed our last stay.

A very clean town, The resort is not for clubbers, more family and mature folk, lots of choice for places to eat my holiday was towards the end of season so the entertainment was being wound up.
The beach was well maintained and lifeguards present most times

Locals don't clean up after they walk their dogs, so watch where you walk!
Beaches are clean ,but only 1 of them has sunbeds for hire.Boat trips to ibiza town ,es cana and cala llonga are easy to book Hippy market in las Dallias is good but expensive.Plenty of restaurants, bars to suit everyone. The local restaurants are better value than the English run ones, try La Noria on the promenade. The food is gorgeous, also pizzas from chicco's pizza, but be prepared to wait.

due to the recession, most bars do not have entertainment apart from Mariners. Also, a lot of the Hotels are Half Board, therefore a lot of restaurants are empty & they have increased drink prices to compensate food loss.
The beach is fantastically clean & is 'swept' most days. The prominade gets cleaned regularly, but the locals need to be introduced to pooper scoopers as it seems the law is that every family must have a dog.
Shops & market stalls a plenty & prices reasonable. Transport is varied, buses every 20 minutes at average 2é for anywhere, boats & ferries a plenty but dearer.
