just returned 11th july - 25 july 2004, stayed in neptuno 2, reading comments on this site i was very dubious about our holiday. all fears were quickly dispelled the food was excellent and varied, the room was cleaned 3 times a week and the pools were excellent (except for towels on the sunbeds), the complex is next to a lake so mozzys were around but by using citrus shower gel not a real problem. the entertainment in the showgarden was varied night to night. some down sides the supermarket was pricey but walking 10m outside the camp savings were made, self catering could be a problem as only 2 rings per cooker but we went half board. the complex entertainment team were excellent from daily activities to evneing entertainment,

Well, did we have a holiday from hell,when we first arrived I was apalled, I had booked a holiday in Alcudia where I had been many times before and loved it,but this was Porto Alcudia I was also told that the hotel it was practictly on the beach, it was no where near.
When we enterd the room(115 Ceris 1)the smell was enough to knock you down, the sewer outlet from the toilet must have been weeping for years, a thin brown fungi had encircled the outlet,after the purchase of a can of air freshner and using most of it we prepared to settle in,room by a nice pool, what a disadvantage that was, 3am a gang of screaming teenage girls decided to have some fun in the pool, I got on the phone to reception for security to put a stop to it,this was to no avail I had to dress and go down to reception and create holy hell,evetualy somebody put a stop to it.
The second night at 5.00 am our neighbors from hell started quaralling, there was shouting,kids sceaming,chairs getting pushed and dragged I had to dress and go tell them very unpolitly to be quiet.
Then there is the matter of the open sewer outside that is supposed to be a waterway to a lake, theres even a fountain in it,the stench is almost unbearable.I paid almost

We have just returned from Alcudia in July 2004, we stayed in the Menerva 2, we were only staying for 1 week but had our room cleaned twice. A bit of a smell at night from the lake but not too bad, it soon went after a few drinks!!! The surroundings of the hotel lakes, fountain's etc looked very nice and the hotel is right the middle of it all shops, bars and restaurant's. Do try the water park for a day out we had such a laugh on all the slides, but remember if you pay to play mini golf you enter the water park free! Lots and lots of places to eat and drink we enjoyed Roma's Italian restaurant and for a nice English breakfast try the Bugs Bunny's Bar or the Canny Lad. We had no problem with the hotel at all so dont panic about going, we would all go back again.

When we got to this hotel , It was the middle of the night and the heat was unbearable. We asked if we could have the air conditioning on only to be told there was none! We then had no choice but to hire a fan which cost a fortune.
We then discovered that they had put us on the top floor and my father is disabled! the lift kept breaking down so he was constanly stuck.
There were ants in our room and someone stole my perfume from the bathroom. The entertainment was fantastic, second to none, but the noise around the complex was horrible.
You were woken up at 4 every morning, to people on loud vehicles sweeping the roads and empting the bins.
Alcudia itself is ace for the family, but this hotel isnt.

We came back from the Bellevue complex 2 weeks ago and won't be going back! We stayed in Diana II for a week and were thoroughly disappointed with the standard of accommodation. On arrival, the room was damp and there was a distinctive smell in the bathroom (of what we weren't quite sure!). The kitchen had 2 electric rings - be prepared to eat out - no way could a meal be made for a family of 4. Dishes had to be washed before they were even used - but no dishtowel to dry them?!
Towels were changed only twice during our week's stay and I had to ask for clean towels on one occasion!
Our apartment looked completely different from the standard apts. in the brochure - and not for the better.
We have never been so disappointed with holiday accommodation in years.
Hope you enjoy and it's a far better experience than ours.

I came back 29th June. I stayed at the Bellevue and i was appalled, the apartment had a smell which took days to get rid of.
I went s.catering and stayed at the Fedra 2 there was nothing provided for s.catering except 2 electric rings. You had to hire everything, it would of cost me almost 200 euros to hire a kettle toaster t.v and microwave on top of the money i had already paid for my holiday one big rip off.
The apartment on the ground floor got broken into and had passports and money taken this made me nervous as i was there alone with 2 children.
I have been to spain many times and all the apartments i,ve stayed in have been lovely with everything you need for a s.catering holiday. I did like alcudia and i will return in the future but i won,t be staying at the Bellevue.

Booked 3 days before we went on holiday did not choose Alcudia or the Bellevue but for 189 per person for 2 weeks we could not fault it, however would of prefered air-conditioning.
We always go to Turkey be really enjoyed Alcudia and would definatley go back again but would not pay full price as I dont think is worth 549 per person, thats what I have been quoted.
My whole family really enjoyed it a holiday is what you make it.

I have been to the Bellevue twice, this time we stayed in Fedra 3 which was relativly clean and spacious.
I advice you pack mosquito spray as you do get bitten quite alot! the entertainment is very good, there are shows everynite some repeated but they were excellent so who cares!?
Food around the pool was very nice but there were a lot of flies, others at the pool always stole towels, rubber rings, balls and lilos so dont leave them lying about.
When we went the weather was very hot and sticky the Spanish told us it was the hottest weather they had had for 20 years!!! so a midnight dip in the pool was very nice!!!!
A lovely pub on the complex right next to Fedra, where the staff were very friendly! The location is a bit awkward for young children and for the beach lovers, as it is a fair walk down to the beach.
The lakes did whiff a bit as you walked past them and there was quite a lot of rubbish in them but after you had passed them you could smell nothing, hotel staff were a disappointnment as they were nowhere to be found!!!! Most stayed at the reception and at the kids clubs but there was nowhere else they could be found!!
I was very upset over the horse and carts there please I advise you not to go on them as the horses are hot and bothered at running around in unbearable heat some with no shoes on!! It is terribly cruel!
I would go back to Alcudia and I would go back to the Bellevue because a holiday is only what you make it!!!
By the way renting a car is a very good idea and the waterparks are brilliant.

The Bellevue Hotel is a very good, clean complex which is situated on the main high street in Alcudia. the complex is split up into about six or seven hotels with all the facilities situated in the centre of it all. The hotel my partner and i stayed in backed onto the main road,but there wasn't a problem with any noise due to the fact that at midnight all outside music broadcast's have to stop playing by law.(you heard the odd shout but nothing special).Even though we went S/C there was no shortage of places to eat and we more or less ate at a different resturant every night, with prices very reasonable and at good prices too, the same applies for the drink also. I would recommend this resort again to friends and family especially those with kids as there is loads to do,tennis, crazy golf, fishing on the rivers, go karting etc and all this within the bellvue complex. The only thing that spoiled our holiday was the tour operator and Airline, So we won't be using them again!! .....

We opted for self-catering, to go out and sample foods from the different restaurants around the resort.
We stayed in fedra 1 Bellevue apartments; the room was nice, clean and quiet.
The staff didn't have anything much to do with them, but when we did meet the cleaning staff they seemed friendly
The location to the Bellevue Apartments is excellent, just outside its gates is the town. All amenities of the town as little as 1-10 mins walk.
In Bellevue each apartment has a swimming pool directly in front of it, all were very clean. Also on location there are Spar shops, pubs and restaurants, bicycle/go cart hire.
Entertainment is very good for kids (adults) of all ages, e.g. swings, slides, go karting, amusement arcades, pool, mini golf, tennis courts.
