We have just arrived back from two weeks at hotel Samoa. First impressions from outside the hotel it looked lovely. The entrance lobby/reception were very clean and modern but the rooms were disappointing.
We had two separate rooms that were very small and basic. The bathroom was also very small, and the water in the toilet constantly dripped.
The food was very basic, and not very hot sometimes.Not much choice for children. Even though we were all inclusive we ate out after the first week for more enjoyable food. I would rate this hotel as a 2 star not 3. The hotel was also very busy, and you had to be down early if you wanted a sunbed.
We requested to change hotels at the beginning of the holiday but were told there was no availability on the island.
The bar staff worked very hard, and the best part were the entertainment team they were fantastic they made our holiday and we met some great friends from England Helen, Neil, Gemma and Nicholle. We made the best of our holiday at hotel Samoa, although like others there we spent 2 days with a sickness bug.
The air con and TV are only available in 50 rooms in the hotel at an extra charge of about

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel see last years review. Nothing has changed at this hotel it is still kept spotless in rooms and all around the hotel anytime of the day.
It was great to go back to the Samoa as the same entertainer was there as last year Kevin who works very hard with both adults and children every day a very well done to them all who had us in fits of laughter during our stay and can only hope you are there next year.
Food is great something for everybody along side the waiters who are great at there job not forgetting Duniar shame she did not have a villa. If you get a moment pop over to the English restaurant just over the road from the hotel its a great place and get on one of their English breakfasts you will not be disappointed at all.
Well again we had a great time and met up with some great people who made our holiday very special and they are Willie the shark & Liz Brian & Lyn George & Grace and big Al and his family.

The kids cried when they had to come home. The food was very basic, English breakfast was only every other day, lunch and dinner were tasty, not a lot of choice but ok, very poor for young children, the snack bar was really good. Kids get ice pops as well as ice cream throughout the day and evening which was brilliant.
The hotel rooms were small and very hot, if you managed to get one with air con it's about

I went on this holiday with 2 other friends and I had an amazing time.
The entertainment staff were chatty and friendly and they had many activities on and worked so hard to keep people entertained throughout the day.
We want to go back as soon as possible!!
The food was nice and the rooms were kept tidy. the only problem were the ants in our room but we asked at reception and it was quickly sorted.

Samoa was too good the entertainment was great and all the staff were so friendly.
The bars were excellent- you could have as much drink as you like until midnight, and the bar staff were very nice.
The food was ok too, not much selection but there was a lot available. I hope to go back to Samoa as soon as possible.

This was a excellent holiday the only thing we could fault the hotel on was that snacks were set out as main meals could not get a burger or toastie which is what a snack is and there was no yogarts or large choice of fruit for the kids.
The lift doors could also be doing with the time delay being fixed as they closed on the buggy while entering on a number of occasions.
The hotel itself was lovley and all staff very helpful although if your late in the restaurant beware this is not liked.
Entertainment good a proper family hotel with the kids disco on first then bingo and something for the adults after.

Yes would visit hotel again,food was ok snacks could be better these were more main meals.
Rooms were clean but lacked tv fridge kettle ect,these could be hired at a charge,location was good not to far from hotel to the beach which was small but beautiful.
Staff were always willing to help if needed,entertainment was good for kids and some adult stuff to.
Pool area was clean and tidy but had to be up early for sun loungers,shops and bars just opposite hotel,if your looking for a nice quiet and relaxing holiday this place is ideal.
Rooms were clean but lacked tv fridge kettle ect,these could be hired at a charge,location was good not to far from hotel to the beach which was small but beautiful.
Staff were always willing to help if needed,entertainment was good for kids and some adult stuff to.

The hotel and rooms were kept spotlessly clean. The rooms though are in need of being upgraded. The bathroom in particular has a run down feel to it.
The hotel itself is in a first class position, shops restaurants and bars are opposite the front door with the beach at the bottom of slight hill.
Staff in the hotel could do with a smile implant as they seem to be fed up with a long summer season.
The food in the restaurant, though plentiful, is not that good. The chef has managed to make every dish with abreaded batter on it. Eventually most guests found their way to the local restaurants.
Due to time of the season entertainment was pretty poor. Only The Four Tops saved the week from being an entertainment wilderness.

We went for a week at the hotel Samoa the food was o.k I had to use the microwave to warm some of the food up as it was sometimes cold.
The hotel areas were kept clean and tidy and the maids came around everyday to change towels etc.
The hotel was on a hill and if you have walking difficulties the beach is quite a treck but does have acsess for wheelchair users.
We had a bit of a problem with noise from other guests on our floor and when we complained to the receptionist one of them overheared and I had a mouthfull of abuse.
I dont think I was being unreasonable I just wanted to have a relaxing holiday lucky we were leaving the next day! The entertainment was o.k more for children thean adults though.
Overall we had a good time dont think I would go back though.

We managed to get a great deal with Travel City when we booked this holiday.
We were 'allocation on arrival' and had to be pretty open minded as to where we would end up! Thankfully we were placed at the Samoa Hotel in Callas de Majorca. The hotel was spotlessly clean.
The maids thoroughly cleaned the rooms, made beds and changed towels every day. The view of the sea from our rooms was amazing (we were on the 5th floor). The food was fantastic - not at all repetative. Although we did use the snack bar, we preferred the restaurant as they always seemed to have more choice of meals.
The beach is like a little cove and is just a 2 minute walk from the hotel. I prefer staying by the pool but you really must visit the beach - it is beautiful. The water is so clear and the beach looked to be very clean.
The staff at the hotel were all very polite and helpful. The entertainment staff worked very hard to get everyone involved during the holiday however unlike other hotels I have stayed at - they do not pester you to join in.
All of the children who were at the hotel seemed to be having a good time and the daytime activities were great, however I think the evening entertainment could be improved upon. However, I must stress that the entertainment staff do a sterling job as they work very long hours indeed.
All of us agreed that we would go back to this hotel - overall we had an excellent holiday.
