This is a wonderful hotel for families, this was our 4th consequtive visit to this hotel, and we have already booked again for next year.
We met up with friends from all over the country who return each year. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels also, and the sheets were changed four times in our 2 week stay.
The view from our balcony over the large pool was fantastic. You are on the edge of a cliff directly looking at the mediteranean!! What a view.
The entertainment was fine but the biggest entertainment of all is the bar staff in the Ascot bar, they are priceless, especially BoBo.
The pool area is great with plenty of sun loungers in sun or shade. The pool was always clean and the maintenance staff are always about doing things if needed.
The hotel shop was great for drinks and snacks, the kids were always in there. The hotel is friendly, we feel that you are on holiday from the second you get there.
The kids are safe and happy and what more can you want from a holiday. We love it.

We are in our mid thirtys with a 2 & a half year old & stayed at the Sol Mastines/Chihuahuas. We found the hotel to be very clean but in need of a little refurbishment. If this was done it could well be a 4* but don't let that put you off.
The food was varied and well cooked with plenty on offer for all ages. All staff were freindly & helpful & the evening entertainment was also good. The hotels location is in the quiet part of the resort but has a great view over the sea. The hotel has good clean pools and is quite safe.
Overall this hotel is more suited to families & older couples as I think it would be to quiet for groups looking for nightlife/clubs.

we have stayed in some nice hotels in Mallorca but Chihuahuas is 1 of the best.
We had a fantastic time and all the staff are very friendly esp Bobo.
The rooms are very clean and the view from the balcony is out of this world and we would go back again.

My family visited this hotel in July 2004. The hotels offer excellent facilities.
Pools, entertainment, staff,rooms-all very high standard. Terrific views and location-would not hesitate to recommend.

The hotel was well positioned, catered very well for the family, children and adults.
The food was of a very high standard and all the staff were very courteous and friendly.
The entertainment was fairly basic but was appreciated by the family.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful location overlooking the sea. The pool area is lovely, we spent many hours lounging on the plentiful supply of sunbeds.
The cleanliness was great as was the food and all the hotel staff.
I would love to go again next year.

superb! the best holiday ever! me and my mate met loads of people and had such a laugh. we stayed in chihauhuas and it was really good, very clean, great location and the food was nice. the hotel staff were very friendly and the entertainment was superb, me and my mate took part in "grease" which i wouldnt normally do! the entertainment clubs were brilliant for all different ages and the day where all groups joined together was good. The hotel is located on near two beaches, we jumped off some of the cliffs near the bigger beach this was good beacuse it was safe. because there were three hotels you cant really get bored while you are there, we stayed up most nights after returning from town. the nightlife is ok considering the quite small town, i recommend "jupiters" club in town - it is very good there. and happy hour was on from 7pm-2am so no-one was complaining! brilliant!

The food buffet for breakfast and dinner in the evenings were fantastic the best platter you could ask for fresh fruit, fresh food, great taste very very exceptional.
The hotels location is a dream away from heavy traffic the best views, especially the little cove the the left of hotel sol mastines. As I was on 5th floor I had a very very lovely view of a lagoon coloured cliff side with beautifull water.
The staff were very helpfull, once I smashed a glass in my bath and within 5 minutes of calling reception one of the English speaking maids was there to clean it up for me.
When I had serious sunburn they were very quick to offer me tonnes of yoghurt for my burns.
The spanish entertainment was brilliant a good family holiday and the complex was very much to be desired.

myself and my family visited the hotel chiuhauas in oct 01, i found this to b an excellent hotel, i had no complaints whatsoever!!
the facilities were excellent and the entertainment staff were out of this world!
ther was so much to do all day and everyday, i have read a few reviews by other holiday makers moaning about the location of the beach, we ventured to the left of the hotel complex and found a lovely little beach , very private with a hot food stall situated on it, as we went in the last 2 weeks of the season we basically had the beach to ourselves!
i would definatley recommend this hotel to anyone, i am definatley going back there asap!

My holiday at the Sol Chihuahuas Hotel was the best holiday i have ever been on, the food was brilliant and i've not seen a cleaner dining area. During mealtimes you could have basically whatever you felt like having, the choice of food was amazing.
The entertainment team were brilliant; funny, interesting and very goodlooking i must say. They made my holiday 10 times better. The entertainer that the club 17 was run by just acted like 1 of us, he had a laugh with us and it didn't seem like he was working at all. Even the waiters were trying to make the holiday better for us.
At night there was a mini disco on first for the children, it was fun watching it and i even joined in 1 night. There was no end to the entertainment on at night (and during the day for that matter),and there was kareoke on every other night, which was a laugh.
It was only about a 10 minute walk to the centre of the town, but with entertainment like there was, there was no need to leave the hotel at all.
I was so upset when the two weeks were over that i was considering not coming home and getting a job in the hotel.
If you go to this hotel look out for the bar man named Juan, he was so funny and always had us in stitches.
