Floors on level 6 or above are the better views but all rooms are sea view anyway

Make sure you stay in Sol Mirlos NOT Sol TORDOS. There’s two hotels and this is the most modem and has better larger rooms. Tell reception when you arrive.

A nice clean resort with plenty of choices for eating out and having a drink. Although it was a bit noisy late at night just below the hotel, the end away from the sea. Plenty of shops to browse round too. Beaches excellent but rather a steep drop into the water.

the entertainment was great for the kids and teenagers with a board showing activitives on that day from water polo, to volley ball, water aerobics i watched from afar with a glass a wine!(well i was on holiday) to kids club always something going on great adults are asked to join in aswell if they want to! beach was around 10 mins walk accross a busy road but well worth its a very gritty sand but nice on the feet, a small shelf going in to the sea but lovely and warm, warmer than the hotel pool! sunbeds are 9 euros for two, plus bamboo brolly worth it for the whole day.i would nt come back again, not because i didnt like the place it was a great family holiday and we all enjoyed it, we dont like going to the same place twice.

Palma nova is an excellent resort suitable for families and young and old alike, only a 10 minute stroll into the lively resort of magaluf. We stayed in the sol mirlos hotel which is quite central to all the resorts amenities. The beach is fantastic with sunbeds and parasols available for hire and plenty of water sports for the adrenaline junkie. The entertainment in the resort is varied and caters for every need, from a quiet drink while the sun sets to lively discos playing the latest hits. We didnt eat out to often as we were staying half board, but i can highly recommend the happy chinese either for a lunchtime snack or a full banquet, we also ate at the florida restaurant which was enjoyable too. !!!Warning!!! Avoid the viceroy restaurant, we decided to dine there one evening, what a mistake that was, we decided to have the special, advertised outside at 9.95 euro. After taking our order the waitress placed a basket of 4 small bread rolls on the table, as three of us were having soup starter we presumed the rolls were to accompany the soup. The main course portions were very small and the sweet even smaller ie one ring of tinned pineapple. When the bill arrived we had been charged 6 euros for the bread and vat was also added. So a 40 euro meal ended up costing nearer 60. What a rip off

Very clean beaches and generally clean area. Didn't use the resort entertainment because th entertainment in the hotel was first class.

We did not spend much time in the resort as we like to travel and see the island.For what we saw it was clean and tidy.
We are not beach goers so it would be unfair to comment.
For what we saw, everybody looked relaxed and enjoying themselves.

I can not fault the resort, each morning there are street cleaners tidying up any mess left on the pavements and they are swept clean. The beaches were lovely golden sands and there are enough bars, pubs, restarurants and clubs for all the family to enjoy. Most of these have TV's showing sport, and some even had entertainment laid on, which is good if your hotel do not offer this facility or if you dont like their entertainment. Everything is close to hand.

We booked Palma Nova which is lovely and great for couples and families, we ended up in Magalluf which is filthy and is geared up for drinking and night clubbing.
Having said that, Magalluf beach looked clean and had stuff to hire like Pedalo's, Jet Skis and Paragliding and has several restaurants/bars.
Palma Nova beach is 200% better with hundreds of places to eat, lots and lots of shops and boutiques and loads of things to do.

you can not get bored here, everywhere you look there is a bar or shop for every need, the beach is brilliant very clean loads of watersports going on,eat out at florida's, the food is very nice, breakfast at compas is loverly,

Palma Nova very nice. Beach lovely, split into two sections. Pleanty of shops and resteraunts. Lovely walk along the promenade. Magaluf merges with it and is also good till about 10pm when it starts to get busy.
Would definately return, a great family resort.
