This resort caters mostly for couples and family's and is ideal for young children with a lovely sandy beach.
It was the first time i relaxed with out the worry of anyone bothering me. Would like to go back again resort lovely!

Arenel d'en castell is a small resort aimed at self catering families. These is entertainment at a couple of the hotels. The Aguamarina is ok, but dont miss the hotels four tops show.
Kanes is a nice place to eat, although it used to be much much better.
Romani is worth a visit, just for the views if you sit inside.
Hong Kong restaurant is very very nice, if a little bit expensive.
Smithys just behind the Sol Isla apartments is a very good place to have breakfast, best coffee in this resort. And they do a very very nice dinner too.
Pirates at Coves Noves is another good place to eat, try a kebab, but these are not for the faint hearted!!!
This was our 4th visit to this resort, and it is the best on the island. The beach only just comes 2nd to Son Bou beach. Dont bother about Cala Galdana, it smells, it's dirty and has pine needles in the sand.

The resort was hilly where we were, but the island is lovely, quiet, but still a decent choice of restaurants and a few nice shops etc.
I'd go again. just check the location if you have trouble walking etc, cos the arepar is on a hill, but I couldnt complain really.

Although we did not visit the beach it appeared to be safe, clean and user friendly with several bars and restuarant for snacks/meals.
We were told by other guests that sunbed and umbrella hire was not cheap.

The resort was very good and clean and the beach was fantastic. The resort was very quiet and ideal for a relaxing holiday.

The resort needed more for teenagers, for example more bars and clubs.

This is our 9th visit to Arenal, but have not been for a couple of years and we would really like to know if Francisco was still running Mi Pizza! Love the beach and beach bar. Everybody is so friendly over there, easy to make friends. Aquamarina Hotel is ideal for teenagers at night, nice restaurants all over resort!
Hope Francisco is still there as we would like to surprise him this year!

Quiet resort with four or five alternative eating/drinking venues.
We did fancy a steak one night and visited a local restaurant- the food was great.
Irsih bar also provided good alternative entertainment.

Beautiful horse shoe bay, clean sand gently shelving into sea. Safe bathing. Pedlos for hire. Bit of a climb down if you have small children, prams or elderly. Easiest way down is towards Club Aquamarina.
Arenel is not for the party animal. Variety of places to eat and drink mainly on the strip overlooking the beach, Irish bar japi bar and a few others.
Entertainment in the complexes usual holiday shows, good for kids. Several car hire companies around, worth shopping around for the best deal.
We found the beaurau de change by Japi bar facing Irish bar does a good deal on cars. Bouncy castle and play area with somewhere for the mums and dads to sit and have a drink while watching the littles ones on the road into the resort(big whale you can't miss it).
A few supermarkets in the resort fresh bread,fruit (drink)etc. Take a walk over the headland facing Arepar Apartments easy going twenty minutes and your at Son Parc. Spend the day at the beach there for a change of scenery if you don't drive. Relaxing, family orientated resort definatly go again.
