We had lots of fun and would visit this resort again.we didn't want to leave...Great standards all around.

Great for the kids, gigantic inflatable whales that swallow the children, inflatable slides, trampolines, electric racing cars, wacky warehouse type play areas, live singing in the square(robbie williams, kylie, madonna tributes all free to watch) plenty of shops selling the usual, live football matches in all the bars for dad, good choice of restaurants for whole family, and a great water park (£10 adults £5 kids, stay all day )

Great for children. Little or no head bangers and revers, loud but not intolerable music in the evenings but all winds up at a respectable time. No timeshare people to ruin your holiday. A great water park, some nice shops, Oh & buy your perfumes & aftershaves there & not on the plane & the duty-free at the airports. Its cheaper in resort.

If you are after a beach holliday this is not the resort for you. Its a case of blink and you've missed it! There is a beach a cala Brut but in the heat its a long way to walk. The resort is lovely with plenty of places to eat and loads of trampolines and things for the kids to do for about 3 euros.
In all we did pay quite a bit for this holliday, would i go again..............yes i think i would.

Although this was our first holiday we thought it was absolutely fantastic great for kids and adults alike.
The beaches are a bit rocky although swimming in the sea was a refreshing change from the pool in the hotel.

This is our second time in Calan Forcat in two years and will probably not stay at the resort again as there are other resorts to stay in Menorca and we feel we have exhausted everything we can do here.
It's perfect for children as most bars have bouncy castles and play areas.
We enjoyed going to Jimmy Hill's in the Square, Frankies Bar, Cocktails and Dreams (with it's beautiful views), the Shopping Centre Bar and Captain Drakes.
Restaurants we liked were Sa Calderata, Es Cana, L'Ancora and Delfines Restaurant. We would also recommend the delicious pancakes made at the back of Jimmy Hills.
You must see the Temptations in the Square on Friday nights they are excellent, although I'd recommend getting there early to get a good seat!!
We will definitely be coming back to Menorca again as the island is perfect for young families

Great family holiday.
Resort was family friendly with kids stuff in most bars.
Found a good bar with a bouncy whale etc where kids were safe and you could relax for a drink.
Restaurants were good for varied food and friendly staff.
Not much on offer if you like a 'special' meal in nice surroundings. We found the restaurant opposite the Binimar with a fountain in it was probably the nicest aswell as Lancora in the resort.
Overall, a good family holiday if you have little ones.

Excellent resort for family's with small children. All the restaurants catered well for the children and quite a few had activities on for them. Lots of nice restaurants although no really special ones.
The water park was well worth a visit and is right in the centre of the resort. It had quite a lot for smaller children to do aswell as older ones.
There are two big parks you acn take the kids to after your meal were adults can relax and have a drink while the children play happily. We preferred the Whale Park as you could see the kids better.
Overall very nice resort, we would definatley go back.

If you do find yourself stuck here, Drakes Bar in town is friendly and became our bolt hole for normailty and seclusion. The nearby old capital of Ciutadella is also well worth a visit and very good for the market and shops. Cala N Forcat can only be described as the asshole of Menorca, no beach at all and only a handful of tacky souvenir shops in the town. It is a shame that this first visit to Menorca will defintately be our last. As for the Binimar apartments, hell on earth!

We enjoyed the resort but the beaches being small coves were not fantastic, but the island has so many nice beaches hiring a car is a must.
