the Vista Picas is so much closer to the resort centre than our apts last year (menorca sea club) which was about a 15 min walk, the Vista Picas is literally 2 minutes from the nearest bars and restaurants.
there is plenty of entertainment available for all ages in the evening, but take note, most bars/restaurants dont open until about 11am (one or two do open for breakfasts earlier though), so if you have kids like ours who are up at 7am then you might have a struggle about what to do for the first 2 hours or so, but as this is the coolest part of the day then its a good time to have a look around and see some of the sights.
the resort is kept very clean, i dont know how as you dont seem to notice cleaners picking up rubbish and sweeping the roads etc, maybe we just take a little more care than we do here in england :(
the beaches i have to say are well kept and great once you get there but they are quite a trek down some rough driveways and are shall we say Small, we tried 2 of the beaches and after walking for 10 mins down a rough dirt road when we saw the beach we turned round and went back, this is not really the place to go if you are a beach bum. that said, i did go in the sea on the other beach and enjoyed it.
i have been to Cala 'N' Forcat two years running now and would go again but we are going to try a different resort next year for a change, nothing wrong except we would prefer somewhere with a better beach.
definitely a great place if you have kids in the 0-8 year bracket, older kids might struggle to keep amused but as mine are 5 & 4 then it was fine, they are already asking to go back to Menorca again.

Cala en forcat is a good homebase for a family holiday, get out to Ciutadella though, its only 5 mins by bus or taxi, thats where our holiday begins, great resturaunts, shops, and a wonderfully cultured place to visit.

There Is Plenty Going On In The Resort Lots Of Resturants And Bars

We found the resort to be very clean, and all the Bars / Restaurants are within easy reach. Plenty of them and some have onsite bouncy castles for free. There are specific areas within the resort where there are Trampolines, Bouncy castles and slides for only 2.5 Euros and the kids can use them for as long as possible whilst the parents can relax and have something to eat or drink right next to them. There is a 'Square' that provides nightly entertainment and is flanked by bars that even stay open till 6 a.m. There are 2 great waterparks but we didn't use them this year. There are a few lovely coves that are doted around the resort that can get accessed by cobbled paths and or steps down. There were quiet (just how we like it) although in peak season they may be a bit busier. There is another beach about 10 mins out of the resort past the Los Delfines arch on the road going towards Cala Blanes. It's the largest of them all and again lovely and not overcrowded with the usual snack bars available.
We look forward to visiting this resort again.

A great resort for families with young children as nothing is too much trouble, most restaurant/bars have bouncy castles, swings, slides and playhouses.
The beach is not particularly big but there are plenty of other resorts nearby to visit with bigger beaches.
Loads of lovely restaurants and bars and reasonable entertainment, mainly tribute bands.
Found the resort clean and people very friendly.
Would definately visit again.

Cala n Forcat is the ideal choice for people with young children. All bars and resturants have bouncy castles and things to keep kids amused. They have some fabulous tribute bands on in the Jimmy Hill square in the evenings. I cant rate the resort and apartments high enough. We have already booked for September this year!

The resort was great. Plenty to do. Beach was hard to find here so if you are looking for a beach holiday this isn't the place really, but we hired a car for two days and went to some fantastic beaches. Cala Galdena and Son Bou beach were beautiful. For our evening meal we went to Biancos which was in the main town.Only about a five minute walk. The food here was great. They loved our youngest son. He had free gifts from them every night. You have Burger King just over the road from the Talayot and a Spar shop which you can get almost everything from. There are plenty of places to eat but we stayed with Biancos.Would recommend this place for people with Children as Aqua park is only a stone throw away from the Talayot.Bus stop is just outside the apts which will take you to most places. Would definitely go back here.

As it was the end of season, many places had closed. However there were still enough shops and restaurants open.
The Aquapark is quite small, but we had a great day there.
Didn't go to beach as the closest one is shingle, but you can walk to a nice one/
