We stayed at the Oasis Royal which is connected to the Oasis Duna, and was able to use their facilities. Found the room ideal for our size of family. Room was clean, but self catering facilities weren't great! Options to hire oven/microwave which you would think came with the room. 2 lovely size pools at the Dunas but very, very cold!! Plenty of sunbeds to choose from at this time of year. 4 smaller pools at the Royal. Staff were friendly, entertainers friendly but lacking in talent. We would go back there again, as its a lovely hotel and good location.

The Oasis Dunas is a large complex of two storey apartments. They are very clean and have all you need for a self catering holiday.
We were in c block which was the opposite side to the bar and entertainment area so noise was at a minimum. It was lovely to sit outside the apartment surrounded by palm trees and cats and hedgehogs and even a peacock sometimes. There are lots of paths leading in and out of the various apartments and it is quite easy to loose your way at first.
We only ate at the pool side bar but the food was nice here and not to pricey.
Most of the staff were helpful especially the maids.
The hotel was about ten minutes walk from the resort centre but we ate in town every night as there was such a good choice. The Hard Rock cafe was good and the Chinese buffets were well worth the money.
We nearly always made it back to the hotel for the entertainment which was ok. The team did their best which was usually pretty good what do you expect it's not Broadway is it. I think we expect too much from the entertainment abroad as everyone

We had a wonderful time at the Oasis Dunas and would recommend both couples and families to stay.
The rooms were spacious enough for two, however perhaps a bit cramped for a family of four. You definitely need a fan as otherwise you wont sleep much!
The self catering facilities were basic but exactly what you would expect from a 3 star hotel. The maids were also very friendly and would come every other day to clean and change towels.
The pool is very impressive although salt water we got used to it pretty quickly. The pool bar staff were very friendly, however the range of food available was limited.

We enjoyed the holiday but the rooms are very hot at night. As two lone females we didn't have the windows open at night! Sleep quality was poor as we kept waking due to the excess heat. We had a fan which didn't help much!
The apartment staff where friendly and repaired the lights outside and plug sockets, eventually.
The pool is fabulous even though salty.
We enjoyed the holiday even though the rooms were really hot and they never repaired the swimming pool shower!
Fabulous place for kids! Maybe not for singles in the height of season.
The Airtours staff were great, they had great get up and go, which made us get up and go every night, however I'm sure the kids loved them!

Best part about this hotel was the pool. Probably the best I've ever experienced on holiday & went from shallow to deep in most parts so ideal for small children.
Children enjoyed the kids club & it gave us a couple of hours off when we wanted.
No air conditioning in the rooms which I couldn't believe at first. We hired a fan at great expense but it didn't make any difference. Had to keep windows open day & night.
TV showed a porn channel right nect to a kids channel which I wans't too impressed with when I saw my 6 yr old flicking through the channels!!
2 bed room cramped for 5 people & sheets & towels not changed often enough for my liking.
However we did enjoy the holiday & only wouldn't return because we like too try out different places.

The oasis duna was clean and tidy with the kitchen being as i would have expected, fridge, kettle, 2 cooking rings and plenty of pots and pans ! The rooms were basic, but comfortable. Cleaners came 5 times a week, every time leaving us clean towels, although after being there a week I had to remind them to change our sheets. Poolside staff were misreable, but reception staff were very helpful. Entertainment was brilliant for the kids and kept us entertained aswell.

The hotel was basic with a small cooker which was all we really needed as we were on a self catering holiday.
The hotel food was fine but nothing special. The hotel location was good and near to bar, shops and pool.
The entertainment was diabolical and only suited youngsters and not the whole family. We are definately coming back!

The apts were generally clean but we stayed in block b(the new ones!) so we didnt see in the other ones to see if there was any difference. The pool water was salt water and generally cold especially in the morning which wasnt so good for my two kids (8 & 2) The food at the hotel wasnt that nice. we eat there once and didnt go again. We normally eat at the steak house 2 minutes walk away from the apts. It was great food and the staff knew how to keep the kids from getting bored. They were great with them!!! The kids clubs at the apts were great as it got the kids away from us for a couple of hours which ment we could sunbathe in peace. Even though it gets very windy at times the sun is VERY strong!!! The only bad thing about the holiday was the restaurant in the hotel and the apartment walls as they are VERY thin so you can hear your neighbour!~ Overall the holiday was an enjoyable experience and would go again!!! 8 out of 10. :)

We have just returned from the Oasis Dunas and will not be returning again manily because the apartments were like ovens with no ventilation and the bathroom opens out to kitchen (say no more!). It can be cool at night in Fuerteventura but this makes no difference in the apartment we slept for two to three hours every night even though we hired fans. The staff at the poolside bar were most rude and had a fit because my three years olds ice cream dribbled on the ground. Reception staff were very friendly. Entertainment was a joke we made sure we stayed away when anything was on. Wasn't impressed with the kids club staff very unfriendly my three year old went once and wasn't interested in going again - the reps are all full of beans at welcome meeting and then wouldn't even say hello! Swimming pool was lovely despite being salt water - could be cleaned better though. If you can't sleep in the heat definitely don't go here - saw the Serenda Bungalows a friend was staying there and they were much cooler
