I have just returned from an excellent holiday in Gran Caneria. The Apartment surprised us with its size (they are big). It must be stressed that there is no air conditioning in the apartments and so hiring a fan is a must (28 euros for two weeks). We also hired a safe for the duration this again was 28 euros for the fortnight. we took a travel kettle, and a travelling iron (these also must be hired). The apartments themselves are clean, staff are very friendly (always willing to help) and the location is perfect as the entertainment areas are spread around.

We stayed here in August 2004. The holiday itself was very good, liked the island.
The hotel was very clean and pool was nice you had to go down at about 3 or 4 in the morning to get a sunbed but we did ok.
The staff were friendly but no entertainment

Have stayed at Walhalla apartments July 2001, 2003 and 2004 and have had a great time on all our visits.
Apartments are basic but very clean and very big.
Pool bar serves great hot snacks, drinks are very cheap.
Staff are really friendly.
Apartments are a 5 minute walk from beach and a few minutes walk to the nearest supermarket.
Would not get money changed at reception do not give a good rate. Best rate I got was at car hire place, just go out gate turn left it's 200 yards on the left beside Chinese.
Apartments are in good central location to all commercial and entertainment areas.
Apartments guarded by watchman/porter at night.
playa del Ingles has something for everyone young and old.
Going back next year again.

Very helpful staff and people within the resort.
Locals where also very nice people very clean and tidy area pool bar closing very early but lots of other places to go within a very short distance.
Would highly recommend, and will stay there again.

What can I say about the walhalla. I found this to be an ideally situated block of apartments, close enough to the beach for the family and far enough away from the noise of the bustling town.
A lovely clean place to stay. Would definately go here again. 10/10

We have stayed at the Walhalla Apartments for the last two years, are going again in October and have already booked for next year !
We have had no problems whatsoever with the service provided by the Staff - the location is excellent, being five minutes from the Yumbo centre and less than ten minutes from the beach.
Not much in the way of entertainment on a night but drinks and food available from the Poolbar during the day.
Pool area good with plenty of sunbeds - without the need to get up at 06:00 to get one !
Ideal if you have kids as far as we are concerned.
