Location of hotel is a bit isolated with poor shops in the area, good promenade to walk along sea-front.

Glad I was all inclusive as bars/restaurants in the area were not very appealing.

Free bus that runs to palma nova was a joke stopping at 6pm leaving you at the hotel for the evening with no nearby shops to wonder round to buy sovenirs etc.. Road to the cala major beach was a nightmare walk at your own risk, the beach down there was more for the locals. Palma nova was excellent with good beaches and shops with parasailing and pedalboats to hire, it was good for us. We found that with 6 of us we needed 2 taxis costing 13 euros each taxi if we wanted to return later than 6pm.
Palma nova would be the ideal location next time we visit the island.

Resort of san augustin is tiny with a little beach. But walk up the road into cala mayor and there is plenty of shops and a lovely beach. Only about 7 minutes away.

Was a bit disappointed with puerto rico - you wouldn't miss anything if you went to one of the other resorts. Its a bit dirty and shabby - plenty of cheap fags and booze (managed to get 200 fags for £2.96 - called Essential - yes £2.96 - my mom loved them. But that's about the size of it...a typical linekars bar and other all you drink style bars. You could catch the ferry though to Mogan and other resort areas. You'll know what I mean when you go. Watch out for the timeshares telling you you've won!!!!

San Agustin is very quiet with just a few mini markets and restaurants. The shopping centre is poor with half the shops closed. The area is very tidy and dominated by half a dozen large hotels.

We walked down 170 steps to find the beach but couldnt find it, but found rocks rocks rocks after all them steps there was no way we wasnt gonna stay a while, so we got kids a fishing net and went paddling looking for crabs. Which we did have a great time. The sea was lovely and clear and kids had great fun.

We went to palma beach a few days we took the free bus.And it was true what I read before I went there is a lot of pushing but I stood my ground and no one got passed me.

The beach there is great all English people too. There was banana boat, dougnuts, para gliding, and pedal boats. You could just lay and relax or go wild on the boats. Which we did and was a good laugh.

We also went to the water park it was a good day but found pools had lots of leaves and dirty plasters and was not as clean as hotel pool.

We had a great holiday and I just think it all depends on what kind of person you are and the company you keep. I just think when you work hard to go on holiday you shouldnt make anyone or anything spoil it, we had a great holiday and will return one day.

We didn't really bother with the resort much as the hotel was so good so we have just given it an average rating. Was okay for a nice walk through after dinner or in the morning. Nice and quite and the beach looked nice.
