The resort was quiet but we knew that when we booked as what you read in the brochure is exactly what you get. We wanted a quiet relaxing family holiday and that's just what we got. Didn't go to the beach in Cala Major but Palma Nova beach was excellent as was the Western Water Park and Fantasia Golf also in Palma Nova. We would definitely go back to the belvedere as it was great value for money.

We found this area to be very clean and pleasant to walk about in.
Not much in entertainment in area but a taxi to Peurto Rico Central or up the Hill to Europa centre plenty going on and only costs a couple of euro.
The beaches are great the one at Amadores especially and there is a good choice of restaurants and shops on beach.

Some good clubs, Peppers the main one and another couple which were small but good clubs, not bad prices.
If you plan to visit the big clubs which you have to book I would recommend it, as they are an experience, but very expensive drinks in clubs (£7 a bacardi and coke) so I would recommend getting plastered at the pre-party which was good fun with a woman dancing with fire n eating it.
Seemed to be lots of kareoke bars which got a bit annoying after a few days! Lots of playpark areas, with bucking bronchos and bungee spring things, very good for children.

Cannot rate resort entertainment as we never ventured outside. The resort is very clean dispite the grafitti don't be put off by it. The beach is beautiful but about 15minute walk, not for the elderly, disabled or young. Better off doing what we did and jump on the free bus which runs every half hour till 6:30pm. We would visit this hotel again but would hope that they got some outside entertainment at least twice a week.

The resort was really quite run down and dirty, didn't have a lot of holiday shops and no entertainment outside the hotel at all, although the hotel ran a free bus into Palma every half hour until 6.30pm, and there was lots to do there. We didn't actually spend any time at the beach although we did go down to see it and it was clean but small.
I dont know if we would go to this resort again unless it was to the same hotel, would definately go back there if the price was right.

It is very tatty and needs a good makeover we found 1 beach but it did not look good atall so we got the free bus into palma nova which was very nice I personally think they do not cater for tourists that well which is a shame. Nearest night life or family entertainment you would have to go to Palma nova.

Beware also in the Commercial Centre (at the bottom). A shop called Joy on the left hand side. My husband sprayed Ck Eternity and no lie - it smelt of curry powder! My sister bought what she believed to be DKNY perfume and JOOP aftershave – after smelling some different scents and realizing they smelt ‘sub stanndard’ We opened her boxes of scent and discovered they too were ‘sub standard’ The Joop scent (normally a pinkish shade) was a faint yellowish shade in the bottle and the DKNY.. well just didn’t smell like DKNY. She returned the items back to the store where the guy told her that she had purchased the deodorant version of DKNY – although the perfume version was on display as the tester- what the shop does is cover the labeling(where it said deodorant) on the box with the price tag – which is oddly placed anyway!! After much deliberation she was refunded for both items. This of course doesn’t apply to all the items they sell – as my mum bought some perfumes which were genuine – just be wary of the packaging and pricing – if its too cheap – it aint real!!
Overall my stay in Gloria Palace Amadores was excellent – I cannot fault it at all – and am certainly looking forward to my next visit there!!

San Agustin is not much of a resort, being mainly a marina/harbour area, but Cala Major which is right next to it has a great beach, although that was about all we liked about it. The best thing about the resort is that it is only a short transfer from the airport and close to the motorway exit so it makes a great base if you want to see the island.

Not really fair to comment as in April most of the shops/bars had not yet opened. Only found one beach - small but pleasant although very windy.
