Lots of places to eat outside resort.
Recommend going Bed and Breakfast, ignore half board option.
Do not book April, May, June as 80 percent closed with only one restaurant on offer.

Don’t stay here. Death would be better.

If you can afford it, get a suite. Overlooking the pool and the sea - perfect!

This is the 3rd time we've been to Playa Blanca and we really like this area of Lanzarote. the beach is lovely and there are lots of great bars and places to eat.

Like resort, quiet, few bars and shops, nice to have a walk round in the evenings!

Blaya Blanca is a charming town. It is clean but the standards of shops have gone downhill with a huge influx of 'cheap & cheerfull' rubbish on sale. The good quality shops seem to have moved on.

Nothing much to do or see worth leaving the hotel for.
A bad sewage smell always present at the top of the hill 25meters towards the beach. Restaurants of poor standard by the looks of things. Go all inclusive and have no regrets.

Playa Blanca is lovely. We did the grand tour of the island.Well worth the effort and the cost, lunch included. Booked at tour shop right by the ferry. The beaches here are very nice. Though the weather didn't give us the opportunity to use beach furniture, we did find out, it costs 9 euro for 2 beds and 1 brolly. The weather has not put us off going to Lanzarote again, we were just unlucky. would try another resort next time, but would also go back to Playa Blanca in the future. Whole island clean.

A lovely resort which we have visited before and will definitely visit again. It is suitable for all different holiday makers.
Don't miss the twice weekly market (Wednesday and Saturday) held at the marina, which is a very nice setting, although restaurants are more expensive than Playa Blanca. This market is a step up from the usual tourist tat.

Playa blanca is a lovely resort with a great beach and some very nice restaurants, sidreria nearer to the port and also jumbo Chinese on the front were amongst the better ones. The only real problem with Playa blanca is that its very expensive, double some of the bigger resorts for drinks both alcoholic and soft. We paid on average 3.5 euro for a pint and 2 euro for a small sprite/coke. Not sure on food but it was about 13/15 euro for a steak main meal.
Nice resort just too expensive.

A long walk along the promenade which stretches for over 5 miles is fantastic, We can recommend the following restaurants to eat for various reasons.
Los Hervideros Restaurant. Very Spanish and Authentic.
El Horno. Best food excellent spit roasts
Tipico Espanyol. Best value, excellent portions.
Playa Blanca Restaurant. a prime location on the seafront promenade. Good set price menu or Tapas
One to avoid; Casa Pedro. Awful service. staff rush you and we were made to feel most unwelcome. Only interested in big spenders.
