Lots of places to eat outside resort.
Recommend going Bed and Breakfast, ignore half board option.
Do not book April, May, June as 80 percent closed with only one restaurant on offer.

Man made beach, very small but safe for children. Beach can become very busy with limited space. Lots of fish around your feet when you are paddling. A few peddalos and bananna boat on beach. A few shops but the main ones can be found further along into playa blanca. A few broken pavements along the promenade.

The entertainment is OK but there can be long queues at the bar. The reps work very hard and are good with the kids.
The resort could be so much better especially if they improved the food and bars.

Playa Blanca is great for a quite relaxing holiday and it's a great base to travel from. It's having a lot of develpoment going on which if not careful will ruin the resort and turn it into typical brits abroad resort like it's neighbour puerto del carmen. Good choice of bars and restaurants if needed. At lots of tours / excursions if required.

Playa blanca was lovely, cheap bars and great shops,bus stop was a bit far away from the hotel,but it did say in the brouchre the location was about 75%.

Playa Blanca is a lovely resort with lots of restaurants. There are alot of camera shops who are eager to sell, so be careful you are getting a bargain. It was nice to be able to go on the boat over to Fuerteventura although immediate impressions weren't that good.

I would definately come here again as the whole Playa Blanca experience was magical, from the cleanliness to the shops and the bars.

Resort really nice. Before going a lot of people told us that Playa Blanca is really quiet which I suppose compared to others it is.
Still plenty of shops and restaurants.Beach was lovely and clean and also a nice harbour although it is a good walk right to the end of the resort. Here you can book to go to Fuerteventure as you can see the Island from the beach.
You can also watch the catamaran coming and going. Plenty of water sports on offer too.

The resort was very laid back, quite small but lovely to walk around in the evening. The harbour was lovely. The onlu drawback with the town was that it was quite small and once you've seen everything thats it. We visited the beach thanks to the regular shuttle from the hotel and the beach was fantastic, very very clean and the water was lovely. I would definately say the resort is based around families and couples but not singles as there would be nothing for them to do, we struggled and there was only 2 adults and a child in our party but if you like peace then this is the right place to go.

The complex is about 15 minutes walk from the main resort, which we found to be clean. Entertainment is very low key, and chiefly confined to singers in restaurants, or entertainment at the complex. Three beaches in the resort, although the beach to the west of Playa Blanca was our favourite.

We only really ventured into the resort to eat, so we can't really comment on the entainment but there seemed quite alot for the children to do on the beach front.
Our beach was wonderful, and the other couple of beaches looked good, we just stayed on Flamingo beach.
Yes, we would go back, infact we are looking at investing in some property in Playa Blanca
