It was our first visit to the Costa Almeria and although the resort was pleasant enough I think that the Pueblo Indalo Apartments are a bit dated.

We stayed on a self catering basis and was surprised that there was not a kettle provided although a teapot was included amongst the kitchen equipment. Also they could provide bigger glasses for drinks as there are only small ones. The fridge needed to be replaced as well. The maids came in everyday but some of the decor and furniture needed to be kept cleaner.

We cannot comment on the food as we like to try restaurants in the resort and found these to be of excellent value.

Although we were self catering we did take breakfast in the restaurant each morning. Excellent value at 5.50 euros for a buffet with all tastes catered for from bacon eggs etc to pancakes, pastries, cereals & fruit. They had high chairs for the little ones & although it did get busy some days, there was always a plentiful supply of food & tables where cleared quite quickly. We also tried the snack bar which was fine for drinks, hot & cold, lite bites at lunch & ice creams!!

We found the staff to be helpful especially if you tried out a bit of Spanish, some even practised their English on us.

There was kids entertainment in the form of mini disco at 8.30 each evening & this catered for the English, Spanish & German guests, no one was left out.

When we travelled during the last week of September a lot of Spanish Senior Citizens where staying at the hotel & although the hotel was full you really couldn't tell as it is so big & spread out.

There are a lot of steps around the complex, no lifts, but there are ramps. We took a 6 year old & a baby in a pushchair & managed fine with the ramps. The only steps we had to go up where to our apartment & if you are lucky there are some without steps up to them.

The square in the middle of the complex is very traditional & where the Spanish Senior Citizens spent most of their time. It was just like being in a Spanish town, with little shops around the square. I would imagine that this gets very busy at night during high season.

There are a couple of pubs on site plus a disco, but only 1 pub was open when we stayed. The pool facilities where excellent, although a bit cool at first, mind you I am a wimp when it comes to cold water.

The apartment itself was of a good standard & although no kettle you could hire one & a toaster from the reps office. To be honest we managed fine with a saucepan & the grill.

We would certainly return.

The Pueblo Indalo was the best place I could have stayed in.

When I arrived, the apartment was very clean.

It was in the best location possible. It was right beside the beach, and there was plenty of nightlife around it.

The market in Alicante was just fifty minutes away, and the market in Mojacar was only down the road.

The staff were okay, some careless.

The entertainment was the best part. The entertainers, words cannot describe how good they were. I was in the show one night and they were very nice people as well as excellent entertainers. They really got into it.

I plan on going back next year and the year after that, and so on!

These apartments are fantasic, clean and well maintained.

We have been to Pueblo Indalo Apartments four opur of the past 6 years and it just gets better.

As we go self catering cannot comment on restaurant food but other food served on the premises is good. Hotel staff are kind and willing to help.

Our air conditioning broke down this year, I reported it in the morning and by the time we returned to our apartment it had been fixed.

Entertainment staff were excellent the shows they put on were great and worked so very hard.

Will definitely be booking again for next year without a doubt.

I stayed in these apartments and there were lovely and clean. Lovely views from the balconies! We could see the sea!

The beach is lovely there is some stones but there not a problem. The hotel staff are pleasant.

When we were there the snack bar staff were a bit unpleasant and we never got served for ages!

There's lots to do. Lots of entertainment for kids and the adults too.

We would definitely go back sometime.

There are a steps to go up to your apartments and ramps, there are no lifts which it made it a bit difficult if your not able to walk probably! Shops in the apartments which are really good to buy little presents for family and friends.

Apartments were clean and spacious but cooker and fridge a little tired.

No kettle or toaster provided but could be obtained at extra cost. Grounds were well maintained and pools clean. Lots of steps and no lifts (about 70 from poolside to our appartment)so people with buggies be aware. Loads of sunbeds so no early morning rush.

The beach was excellent, comfy beds and lots of watersports. The apartments are well situated for restaraunts, bars and beachfront disco. Cowboy Cocina, Argentinian Steakhouse and Alegria worth a visit.

Mojocar village very quaint with good bars and resteraunts (buses run regularly). This is also a Spanish holiday resort and we found the staff could be a little unfriendly to the British.

Our holiday was very good, the three teenagers with us had a great time and made loads of friends.

I thought Pueblo Indalo aparments were great! The apartment itself was quite big and clean! The pools and gardens were lovely although it can get busy around the pool of a day!

The Entertainment in the hotel was great!! there was things to do for everyone. Including a kids club, activities while around the pool like water volleyball, football etc there was also music on while round the pool which was relaxing. Then in the night there was a kids disco on from 8.30pm till 9.30pm with dancing, playing games etc. Then from 10pm till 11pm they put on a show which was things like grease, cowboy nights, mr indalo, starlight express plus many more as they change the show every night. The entainers were really nice, like Adam, Paul, and expecially John :) they also get the crowd involved in the shows which is great fun!

The food is also nice, theres places from English, Chinese, Indin etc.

And its only across the road from the beach where you can do watersports, although the waves can get really bad.

I loved Pueblo Indalo its was great and i would definatly go back! :)

We found the hotel to be very clean and well maintained.

There are two very good swimming pools in the complex which are in a nice location within complex.

We went on a self catering theme so I cannot pass comment on the food but there was a restaurant and cafeteria on the complex which looked ok. We did'nt use either because we preferred to go out to different places in the evening.

Hotel was superbly located right across from the beach.

The hotel staff were pleasant and efficient, some difficulty with language but this is a Spanish resort.

The entertainment was for the really young kids so we did'nt stay to watch but for families with young kids it seemed to be packed in and around the entertainment stage next to reception.

We personally would not re-visit this hotel for a couple of reasons which with people with any sort of physical problems would be wise to check up on before going to this hotel.(People with no disabilities beware!) There are no lifts but boy are there some steps to climb!! Getting your luggage to your apartment can be a work of art depending on your location within the complex.

Also from our point of view everything starts to wind down at about 12.00 which for us is when we want it to get going.

We stayed in the Pueblo Indalo in July /August 05.

The location was perfect for the beach, it was spotlessly clean and staff were very helpful.

Entertainment at night was for the younger members of the family as well as older.

Very clean and the maid service in changing towels and sheets was exceptional. Daily the communal areas were cleaned in the morning. All in all a very pleasant hotel to stay in.
