I have been to Pueblo Indalo 2 years running and this year will be my 3rd.

It is a great place and I have made many friends who live in Almeria itself! It is great. In answer to JuliaMac's questions the car park for the Pueblo Indalo is free and it is straight across the road from the Pueblo Indalo about a 20 second walk. It is also free so that shouldnt be a problem for you.

I am not sure about babysitters but i think PI run some sort of kids care programs, the First Choice reps are always happy to help.

There is also air conditioning in all the rooms, which is centrally controlled and is on most of the time and is very good. The PI is very good for kids it has 2 kids swimming pools one is at the back of the complex which is the quiter one and the main pools are nearer the front of the gardens at the back this is where most people go during the day. There is a kids club and plenty of activities and entertainment going on all the time so kids are well looked after.

Most of the restaurants also have kids menus. I would also like to make a recommendation to a restaurant it is called La Gaviota as you walk out of the Pueblo Indalo turn to the right and walk past cowboy cocina and the blue lagoon. It is in a raised building with marble steps you cant miss it.

The food is brilliant and the owner is such a funny guy. Cowboy Cocina is also nice, which I mentioned earlier.

The water park is not much good after you have been on the 5 slides there is nothing else to do and it is very expensive for what it is.

We went to the market in Almeria town, my mom and sister loved it with all the bags and belts but i thought it was very boring! The beach is also really nice and there are water sports if you like that sort of thing. These are reasonably priced and the people who run it are very friendly. Last year when we went there was a swarm of jelly fish washed into the shore but this is not normally a problem it was just a 1 off.

I hope this helps!

I went with my mum, my dad and my younger sister and We really enjoyed it!

We have been 3 times the first time We stayed at the puerto Marina It was clean but not good entertainment.
The second year we stayed in a villa in the mountains very good views!

The third year we stayed at the Pueblo Indalo which was very clean, maps to show you where everything is. At the front it looks very small but when you go inside it is massive! At first we couldn`t find were are apartment is.

The apartments are really cool, it's a wee street with a few apartments the street even has its own name its like a village!

When you walk through there is a big square with a bar where you can get snacks, drinks, ice cream and even at dinner time a meal!

In the square there is a row of small shops were you can get rubber rings and swim toys for the pools, a t-shirt shop and loads more other souvenier shops and on the last day I discovered a sweet shop full of sweets!!

In the square there are loads of chairs and tables and at the front a big stage! The entertainment was absolutely excellent!! Kids shows and adult shows fun for all the family!!

From the square there are steps which you go up and it brings you to the pools which are excellent!

There are 4 pools one that goes from 1 foot and you walk in further and it gets deeper and deeper 1ft to 6 ft. Besides this pool there is a baby pool but for me it was up to my ankles good for babys and toddlers to have a splash!

If you walk further down to the fresh green gardens off the grass there are 2 other pools - another baby pool and a bigger pool its about 3ft.

The gardens are fantastic! Have trouble putting sandals on when your just out off the pool? No need! Just go for a lovely walk down the fresh green gardens! The hotel staff were very kind and helpful!

Just before you go into the main square there is a big reception centre. When you go in smell the fresh clean floors its very clean!

When you go in, there is slideshow pictures of the whole of Mojacar, phones, comfy seats the whole way round, air conditioning and access to the internet!

Just outside the Pueblo Indalo is a zebra crossing and a bus stop. Accross the zeba crossing is a beach its clean and a good bit of the sun!

Its a great place to stay at and I would recommend as a family holiday!

This was quite a good complex to stay in, in that it was quite large, there were always loads of sunbeds and the apartments themselves were very clean and spacious.

We only tried the cafe once and found it to be quite grubby and the food only mediocre.

The reps are right when they say they are in the middle of the resort but that means you have to walk nearly half an hour either direction to find the resort.

Entertainment was good for families but nothing decent for adults with no children.

I wouldn't visit this hotel again as it is also serves as a training centre to the hoards of Granada University Students that decend on it.

I visited here in May with my sister and her 3 kids who had never been abroad.

The entertainment was good for the chldren but limited for adults.

Pool and sunbathing area and plenty big enough with room to spare.

The location is the downfall of this hotel as it is a good 30mins walk to the main part of the resort.

Reps were superb with the children although we may have been spoilt by the fact that it was not full.

The only other bad point was at this time of year the hotel was overum with students attending seminars

There is a great choice of restaurants and cafes in the Pueblo itself and a lot more in the town.

The location on the beach front is just perfect as you can spend the morning on the beach and come back to the pool later.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

And the entertainment was excellent.

Our 2 bedroomed apartments were very spacious and well equipped, except no kettle or toaster. For such a large complex it was very well laid out. The pool was attractive, surrounded by a large grassy area, however it was very crowded during the day, with disco music, and we preferred the beach just across the road. It was too hot in the day for the boys to play football, but they went to the football court early evenings, and had a great time. There were Spanish, Irish, French and other English holidaymakers with whom they had some great football games. The air conditioning in one apartment was not working when we arrived, but after reporting it twice in one day it was duly repaired (and very much needed!) Overall we were very impressed with the complex and there was lots to do for all ages.

This was a brilliant holiday, great for all us teenagers and younger children. There are two baby pools and two large pools - these were both very clean. For the children there are Pool tables, arcades, internet access, disco (this was downstairs and there was a very good atmosphere down there) and plenty more other things. The apartments were very clean and spacious and the air conditioning was fine. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby such as - 'The blue lagoon' and 'badgers bar' which are just down the road and there are lots of others which were great, there are lots of other shops enclosed in the square which are great because you dont have to walk too far to get gifts etc. The beach is lovely - but in the sea there are a lot of rocks etc. and sometimes the sea can be very calm like a millpond and other days there are massive waves that knock you over! Almeria is VERY hot and you WILL get a great tan! Overall i would give this holiday 9/10 it was great and all my family would definetely go back again.

This is my 7th time in Mojacar in as many years and I have stayed in the Pueblo Indalo each year! I have two younger brothers aged 11 and 13 who prefer not to go to the kids club but make a huge group of friends each year. My parents are comfortable with them going off on their own around the complex as it is such a safe environment for children.

In the square, there is a teenage disco in the square which has a great atmosphere and the barmen are really friendly and will make every attempt to make a bit of conversation with the holidaymakers despite their lack of English. The disco ends about two and from then on in, security are very strict about keeping the place quiet so that people wanting to sleep can do so.

As for the apartments themselves, they are really nice and quite cool when the air conditioning is working properly. The cleaning of the apartments this year wasn't up to the standard we'd seen previous years.

I would warn teenagers to try get on the good side of the security guards as they can be a bit intolerant to teenagers.

The swimming pools are quite spacious but can get a bit dirty towards the end of the day understandably.
