Pineda was a quieter resort in between Malgrat and Calella.
The beach was lovely apart from that it was grit not sand.
Like the rest of Spain the shops shut around mid day for a siesta, so if you need anything, get it before it shuts.
Overall the resort was nice and quiet with a few clubs in the main drag.

We found that the cleanliness of the resort was excellent. The place always appeared neat tidy and litter free. Very pleasant to walk around.
There was not much to do outside of the Hotel but we did find a few nice local bars and restaurants, nice local people.
The beach was not sandy and very stepped. Sea was quite rough and we decided to travel to other beaches instead which were nice.
We would come back to the resort but really for the hotel rather than the resort.

The beach was large but the sand was poor quality and hurt your feet as you entered the sea. The sea becomes deep very fast as you appear to fall off the stoney pepples at the sea bed.The flooded water located at the underpass on the way to the beach could not drain away for days and you were forced to walk through this stagnant water. This resort was not good and I would not return there.

Entertainment in the resort was mostly in hotels. Not alot of entertainment in the local bars.
Maybe there is more entertainment earlier in the year. There is obviously building work near to the hotel and along the back of the beach. When the work is finished it will be a bit improvement to the area around the hotel.

Very clean, nice place not too quiet but not too touristy. Some nice little shops and bars. The beach was nice and clean and staff in the shops and cafes were friendly. Would definitely go there again.

the resort was loverly, quite and small but also full of people and different pubs and resturants. the sea was a bit rough and it took as certain way to get into it, but once you got the knack it was great! there is a train that goes all up and down the costa brava and is very cheap. it puts out own trains to shame, they are comfortable, cool and even play classical music! i would definatly go to pineda again

The resort was very clean. As for the resort entertainment there was nothing to do there, no shops, no bars to visit, you had to go into calella on the noddy train which is about a ten minute ride for a look around any shops, so you only really have a choice of the hotel for the evening entertainment. The beach is not very nice it is very stony & the sea is very rough, there are no peddle boats or water sports that you can hire out. The local people are very friendly.

The beach was very clean and good fun. The shopping was good and prices were of a range. The festival which is in the middle of august was excellent and very entertaining. There is a wide selection of pubs and bars and Pineda is very clean too. I would come to this resort again.

the resort of pineda is fine.there is work going on just now to improve the underpasses to the beach.the interference from this is not too bad. there are plenty of shops and bars just 5 minutes walk from the hotel.Callella is just a 10 minute walk in the other direction.if you are looking for a good family holiday without drunken gangs walking about, this is the place for you.

Wheelchair ramps only exist on one side of the road, no disabled toilets in the resort
