Pineda de Mar is placed ideally between Santa Susanna and Callela. Great for visiting and great to leave behind. For families with young children this resort is ideal, although the beach shelves quite steeply in places.

the only thing that was dissapointing was the lack of pubs in the local area,although the ones that were there were good.the beach was clean but you could not let the children go to near the sea as it was quite rough.overall an exellent holiday and are going back to taurus park the start of june.

the resort was lovely and clean, and had no faults at all! absolutely brilliant! beach was clean, waters amazingly so! just excellent, and i would strongly challenge anyone opposing - not that i could imagine that! - the entertainment was superb - involvment in all ways. discos for even our age that were actually 'coo;' but also for littler ones, which was so important on our holiday ! i seriously cannot big it up enough ! myself, a teenager, am hard to please but i couldnt fault here ! thanks !

Pineda is a resort that I had never heard of until I went there. About 45 minutes transfer from Gerona Airport the resort if a nice, quiet place with no or very few night clubs which for a family visiting this resort must be an advantage.
The beach are was great with a real community feel on it.

Pineda is a lovely quiet resort. There is a market on Fridays when the whole promenade is closed to traffic so very safe to take children. Plenty of lovely bargains. The town is lovely to wander around but if you would lively entertainment then you will need to go to Calella a bit further down. Beach is lovely and clean (reps take the children to the beach to play rounders) and the Noddy train which goes to Calella was great fun for the children. Barcelona is about an hour by train which is really cheap. A trip to Marineland is a must (take your swimming stuff) and for the football fans a trip to Nou Camp (home of Barcelona FC).

the resort is very clean no litter and they even have doggie poo bins.
the entertainment is just 100% thomsons maybe 99% but the hoel enterainment 110% easy there is just to much to choose from.
yes of course i would come back, find me a hotel which has better qualitys and you still would not get me to chance my mind.
come on I am going three times this year as kelli is 30 on 6th june

the resort gets cleaned every morning and at night its a very clean resort.
resort entertainment is quiet outside the hotel but visit the buccaner(english bar) just down the road and that is where you need to be if you want a break from the hotel.
the beach is very clean but full of pebbles and there is a drop so you have to be carefull if you have children but you can go on the peddle boats and use the water sports.

the beach was full of pebbles couldnt make sand castles :( under the bridge by our hotel u could see pieces of poo! yes poo i know its viel i wouldnt pick anythin like this again if u book a holiday make sure its not a building site when u come out of the hotel cause thats all they was doing was buildin

the beach is just under the railway there are plenty of subways, you dont need to go to the railway station to go to the beach, thats just rubbish. there's a little building work going on but the resort itselve is QUIET.
