Mitos hotel as been the best we had clean rooms an the food is beautiful, most restaurants in Oba are quality food never had a bad meal yet in 4 years also check out the moonlight restaurant bar friendly family great food :)

Beach near Bonapart is sandy but has some pebbles the better one is at cleopatra beach 20 mins away on a bus. Buses are excellent and cheap just one turkish lira and run till 1am. The harbour area is 10-15 min walk away and an old castle on the hill. Recommend getting taxi up 15 TL an walk back down. Superb views over area but be careful with children if visiting castle as no safety barriers on site. One thing you will need to be aware of is the shop keepers and resturants are very keen to get you in and can be a bit annoying at times. Try a turkish steam bath and a visit to nearby Side is recommended for a day out. Boat trips are good value too and an opportunity to see the coastline. Long journey transfer time from airport over 2 and half hours but Alanya is a super resort and very modern.

Lots of shops to used bargaining skills in centre and very appreciative of your custom.A few clubs aroung the harbour area to cater for the young or young at heart.Pleasant layout within the shopping areas but a bit far from hotel.Don't think I would come back to this area again as the delay on top of long transfer was unforgettable. Thomas Cook were the culprits with delay at airport for 6hrs with no explanation and then we had to fly to Gatwick to collect other pilots and left to sit on plane there for an hour before flying back to Belfast.We enjoyed using local buses to see the area independently and worth seeing was the Dimcay river in the mountains.Very scenic and used the dolmus which Thomas Cook rep claimed did not go there.

Alanya is a fantastic place and the beaches are lovely. You can walk up to the Castle which is a nice walk. I would recommend this resort to everyone. The excursions are fantastic good for all ages and an enjoyable experiance.

i didnt quite get why you couldnt take food or drink to the beach and you had to buy it from the beach sellers after all we were all inclusive other hotels weve been to have their own piece of beach and when your there its still free as your all inclusive

The resort itself was very nice, plenty of bars, cafes and retauraunts to choose from, most of which of quite a high standard of service.
A visit to the harbour is essential, plenty of shops, bars, cafes, and restaurants to choose from.
Try to find Carisma bar, friendly staff, and great entertainment.
The streets and roads were kept very clean. My only negative comment was that the beach near the hotel is very dirty, it doesn't seem to cleaned up at all.
Although all is not lost, I would recommend visiting Cleopatra Beach, a 2 minute Taxi ride away, much cleaner and a lttle quieter.
All in all a great holiday.

The resort was very clean and tidy. It was cleaned everyday.
The beach standard was good although it is more pebbles than sand which i didnt mind but might put some people off.
Again the entertainment was good and I really enjoyed it.
I would visit this resort again for sure.

We have just come back from Tosmur which is about 10 minutes from Alanya town centre.We stayed in private appartments near the old aqua park,where we stayed was near a turkish restaurant not very flash, doner kebabs 2lira absoutly lovely place called the cinar. nice quiet area,supermarket near by a handful of bars and shops and restaurants.One bar in tosmur was the Blue Parrot excellent food and staff,hi to Tommy,Nico,Mohammad and Emarah they really made our holiday great, with the kids also.There is a little town about 20 minutes walk called Oba not as busy as Alanya which we liked,could walk round the shops with a lot less bother.Kids loved it at night down there.We got the dolmus into Alanya a few times very cheap only 1 lira but sometimes got very busy, driver didnt know when to stop letting people on, at night it took longer as the driver was driving at about 2mph to see if people were getting on or not a bit annoying sometimes.Alanya really busy couldnt even look at anything in shops quietly and you were being asked all the time if you wanted to buy something,but really good clothes got daughters some desingner jeans could not tell they were fake.Got lost a few times in Alanya but really nice place.WE went to dim cay which is a bit like a water park in the mountains fresh cold water which was refreshing as we were in 50 degree heat for the two weeks.Kleopatra beach very nice waves also good but be careful if you have young children can be a bit dangerous.Will definetly be going back next year,loved every bit of it,shame to come home.

The resort were the hotle is located wasn't the cleanist but respectable. The resort entertainment wasn't amazing either there was two bars the Andeos bar and The Blue Parrot. The Andeos bar had good entertainment brake dancers, fire blowing and belly dancers but the Blue Parrot staff are very friendly and kind which is only outside the hotel and the Andeos bar around the corner. The beach was stoney and rocky you had to were your shoes up the sea and take the off there if you wanted to go in the sea. But there is a hotel runned water sports.

The hotel was out of the resort so you had to get a free bus to the town which sounds ok but you have to push to get a seat! There is only two bars near by we went into the Blue Parrot a lot the staff were very friendly there. The beach was a shingely beach just across the road (by going under ground).

We stayed in Turkey Alanya, the beaches were glorious and the sea was full of all sorts of life.
And the weather was always hot and sunny never rained.
and the people were very friendly and many of them spoke english which to be honest was very usful.
