The hotel was really clean,we had clean towels every day,the toilet bin emptied daily and our beds made.
The food was great however the selection of food for the evening meal could have been a bit more varied too many variations of meat balls,although there was lots of veg and salad to choose from,it was very healthy.
Our daughter had her tea at snack time when delicous pizzas,burgers and chips were served.
The staff were really friendly especially the entertainment staff Ali,Gino and Sehran, who worked really hard to make sure everyone enjoyed there holiday.The hotel ran childrens club was small but Bodrum [not sure how to spell her name]the lady who ran it was lovely she always made sure the children were happy and would swim with them in the pool and play games with them.
We all had a great holiday and would love to go back one day especially if it was the same staff.

We have been to Icmeler once before and stayed in the infamous Medsun apartments and, as we liked the place so much we decided to go back again.
From leaving home to getting back, the holiday was perfect. The hotel is ideally situated for the main areas, 2 minute walk to the beach, 5 mins to the canals, with the Dolmus and the train stopping right outside the hotel.
We stayed self catering and the room was perfect, lovely and clean and more than enough space. We were right next to the lower pool with palm trees outside the balcony. As it was late in the season, the place was very quite so there was no shortage of space round either pool and even though the water was only on the slide for a short time. The children using it soon made it wet and used it all day, even the staff joined in fully clothed.
We didn't use the hotel restaurant as there is so many nice places to eat in the resort, so we can't comment.

this is our third visit to the mirage appartments and we will not be returning. alot has changed since our visit last year. the staff were not at all friendly. security at night was non existent ther were often large groups of rowdy youths gathered around the pool area just below our appartment at 3am thus keeping us awake. the maid service was minimal compared to previous years. there was a lack of sunbeds. we had to put towels on the sunbeds at 2am otherwise there would be none left. last year it was forbidden to put towels out before 7am. i complained to hotel reception who said there was nothing they could do and clearly showed his lack of interest. we awoke one morning to find the air conditioning leaking onto the bed after reporting this it took three hours for someone to fix by this time water was all over the bedroom floor. after fixing, the unit was left hanging off the wall. most people we spoke to had been to the mirage before and all commented on how the place had gone downhill. the holiday rep also said she had received many complaints. it is a great shame as i have in the past recommended this hotel to alot of people as it was such a fabulous place to stay - not any more.

This was our first visit to the Mirage and we were not dissapointed. The hotel was very clean, and the maid service was excellent, our rooms were cleaned every day, and the towels were also changed daily. We can't comment to much on the food as we only had breakfast there, which was continental and average, though the wasps seemed to like it. The pool was clean, and the pool area was fine although there were not enough sunbeds to go round, and this resulted in people reserving sunbeds in the early hours of the morning. However the situation did improve with the arrival of more beds the second week. The hotel is in a good location within easy reach of all the amenities of the resort, and set at the bottom of pine clad mountains.

When I told a friend we were going to Icmeler and staying at the Mirage,she said she had stayed there and it was lovely, she was right. We were not disappointed. Although the rooms are basic they are kept very clean by the friendly and hard working maids (all you want is somewhere clean to sleep when on holiday)
The pool has a slide which was only in use for an hour and a half twice a day, which was a shame.
We were B/B, I got bored with fruit and bread and honey, my husband had the contiental breakfast but I think the cats got most of it!
We were thinking of going back next year but I heard that the hotel is being demolished and rebuilt as an all inclusive.

Stayed in the Mirage last year as well. Was dissapointed this year not enough staff or sun loungers.
Linen only changed every 4 days, maid said she was tired.
Lower pool area very dangerous, slipping accidents everyday, due to pool overflowing. Hosepipe left in all day to top up pool.
Top floor apartments are very small so beware.

This was the third time my friend & I had stayed at the Mirage (Im sure this speaks for itself.)
I would consider the rooms to be fairly basic but exceptionally clean. Full marks to the cleaning staff.
With regard to the food we missed breakfast most mornings so cannot really comment on that.
Hotel location brilliant, lovely mountain views, close to beach & restaurants & bars.
I found the hotel staff to be friendly, helpful + polite + very hardworking (I don't know where the bar staff got their energy from!)
Entertainment good, we tended to go in the front bar.
I honestly cannot find fault with any aspect of the Mirage Hotel or its staff and will most definately be visiting again.

Food at the mirage was average but we did not eat there as the food was not covered up with plenty of wasps and flies thrown in for good measure.Meat for the B-B-Q was left out from 5.30pm until cooked at about 7.30pm.Lower pool area was treacherous with both staff and guests slipping over.The pool was not kept as clean as it should have been and this resulted in several guests being taken ill.This was , however rectified after bitter complaints to the Holiday Rep.A couple across the hall and ouselves had a problem with a leak from the toilet across the bathroom floor which took a long time to put right.Staff were not as friendly as we have become accustomed to in Turkey.Some people had returned for their second or third visit and were disappointed so it would seem that things have changed recently.Good places to eat in Icmeller 1)The Majestic Boys Fun Pub 2)The Love Boat (excellent!!) 3)Champagne(Fried ice cream!!)4)The Dolphin (has a roof-top restaurant)

We stayed in the Mirage Apartments, Icmeler, the staff were all polite and eager to help. The bar staff were loovely! Foxy runs the bar and is a brilliant Manager, always pleased to see you and is very entertaining. Ali, Jason and Sarcon were our favourites. The dancers were fantastic and according to our daughter Sophie the DJ was fabulous! Kirsty our other daughter loved the break dancers especially Eddie. We had a fabulous time and haven't been home more than 24 hours but have booked to go again. We couldn't fault the Mirage or Ismeler. Good value, good weather, we couldn't of found a better place.

My husband and i went to The Mirage appartments in August 2003.Our appartment was on the top floor and had great views of the surrounding mountains.It was spacious and clean.It has got to be one of the best hotels we have stopped in for location wise, a few minutes walk from the beach and town. The staff was fantastic , they couldn't do enough for you and by the end of the holiday we knew most of them by first name. This hotel will be one we will definetly re visit.
