I have previously been to the following AI hotels:-
Louis Phaethon, Cyprus
Sun Palace, Faliraki, Rhodes
Paraiso Floral, Tenerife
Hotel Esmeralda, Menorca
I am looking possibly at the Las Dalisa or Dunas Paraiso in Tenerife as there are good deals at the moment for the 1st 2 weeks in July 2009. However, there seems to be mixed reviews. I want a hotel with food similar to the standard in the above hotels, nice beer, entertainment but no forced entry into participating in the evenings entertainment.
Also looking at the San Miguel Hotel, Ibiza. Not sure on the food quality or if the entertainment is a bit in your face.
If anyone has been to the 3 hotels that I am proposing and have also been to one of the other hotels that I have already been to, then I would be grateful for your comparisons.

I have been to Las Dalias. Stayed Half board though. Hotel is in a good location, food was very good. Drinks were quite expensive but if you are AI it wont matter. Entertainment is outside and unless you get there very early you will have to stand at the back.
They did have some good shows though and not too in your face. They do get people to participate sometimes but usually get someone sitting right near the front and if they say no, they just move on to someone else.
If you do go here ask for a room on the 3rd floor (which is on reception level) with a large balcony and its own sunbeds. The balconies are huge in these rooms.
