ive eventually coaxed my other half to get on a plane, last time 3yrs ago we went to the iberostar in costa dorada and we loved it however we felt caged in and this time ive been looking at mexico, but there is so much choice, i dont know wether to go for another iberostar, i have had someone recommend rui caribe and it does look nice.
we want to be able to get out to the towns an i know there are buses you can get on, we also want to have a lovely beach as that is where we spend out time though usually under a canopy then have a nice walk out and about or visit the town.

The best place to be would be either Playacar or Playa del Carmen, as both are in town. Most hotels in that area are excellent - especially the Royal Playa del Carmen. Look under the review section !
Hi thanks for getting back to me, the hotel looks amazing was quite excited looking at it in the brochure it priced 2 weeks at just over £1600, i then priced it online and its showing as £2700 each im not sure why there is such a big difference. unfortunately we have just bought a new house and car this year and not really looking to spend £5k on our holiday but does look amazing maybe next year lol
Hi June If you liked the IB* Costa Dorada why not try the IB* Tucan/Quetzal/ They are just down from Playa del Carmen and quite close to Cozumel island as well where you can go and use the Iberostar ozumel for the day.
