Albena is a expensive for the country of Bulgaria and it is worth going to the city of Varna to see the real Bulgaria and get presants etc. (but you must beware of pickpockets LISTERN TO YOUR REP'S INSTRUCTIONS to prevent this)

Albena is very quite at night everything closed at 11.00pm! no music in the bars! dont be surprised if you get approached by a prositute - there are hundreds walking about. Age groups vary and lots of families who all seemed at a loss with what to do at the resort. too quite

Albena is a friendly, cheerful and entertaining resort for people of all ages. There is plenty to do, whether that be dancing in the disco's or just lounging around on the beach. It is our second time to visit Albena and certainly not the last. We look forward to visiting again.

During June 2004 I stayed in the resort of Albena. The resort was overall a lovely, lovely place!. It was throughly clean, the DISCO in the Tzar building was a great atmosphere!, the beach was very clean with soft white sand and clear warm waters and Albena had lots of excellent stores and shops!. However I did find the Bulgarian people, especially the men, to be somewhat demanding and rather rude. I got the feeling that us English were not liked much amongst the Bulgarians. I would return as the resort was a very nice and cheaply priced place.

I loved the resort. I found the people to be friendly and helpful. We found it very cheap and very relaxing. I would definately go back to Albena.

The resort was fantastic, there were plenty of places to eat out and it was very clean.
There were plenty of shops and although the nightlife was quiet there still was something to do.

The resort was quite clean with many small shops and many Stalls the Entertanment was very little the Ralitsa was to far from town to walk in the evening 3 of our group were robbed during the daytime so we did not go far in the evening. The Beach was very good Sand and Clean. but I would never go back to this area again unless I had at least a five star Hotel
