This has to be the best hotel I have ever stayed in!

We had a juniour suite with a sea view the suites are massive. The dressing gowns and slippers they give you were the cherry on the cake for me.

The food was outstanding. Only thing I would say personally is I was 17 when I went and the waiters sometimes made me feel on edge as they were staring at me every night and you could see them standing there talking.

There was no hotel entertainment the nightclub down by the sister hotel was not opening until mid july.

This hotel was the cleanest hotel I have stayed in, the staff were very dedicated to their jobs and made sure everything was perfect in your room every day, and also in the hotel building. They were also very friendly and made you feel very welcome.

The food was excellent and we never had the same choice twice, beautifully decorated platters of food and paying a lot of detail to presentation.

The location was great for us, bus stop outside the hotel or a taxi sevice within 5 mins of ordering,

We stayed on a half board basis and the food was very good-lots of choice and freshly cooked.

The cleaning staff did an amazing job and the hotel was spotless throughout at all times. The hotel itself is very large and there is a lot of unused space particularly in the reception area.

The atmosphere was rather impersonal and the waiters and bar staff did not make much of an effort to befriend you.

People were having to wait to be seated at the evening meal and the waiters were running about trying to serve everyone as quick as they could.

Entertainment was practically non-existent and bar area was not particularly inviting or friendly.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Panorama and would recommend it into anyone looking for a quiet relaxing family holiday but not to those looking to go boozing and clubbing.

On the plus side: The hotel rooms and pools are spotless - everything is clean. The food excellent and varied and plentiful with chefs cooking various dishes at the serving area in front of you.

I would say it is a definite 5* (unlike some you come across parading as such). Its location near to (but not in) Kos Town makes it ideally situated for the numerous boat excursions and ferries to other islands /Turkey without having to endure the noise of the nightlife of Kos Town.

If you have young children then the free'Playland' playbarn was superb for tiring out the little ones before bed time (open 10..am - 10.00pm)- this was clean and as big if not bigger than most of the ones you find in 'family' pubs in this country.

I believe that they also have a free kids club but we were so near the end of the season that this was no longer running (may be worth checking if this is an important criteria for you).

You also have full use of the other hotels in the Iberostar chain that are very nearby (could be handy if you are staying more than a week) and there is a regular free shutle service between them)The pool at the Kos Bay with its water slides, looked just as much fun as that down at the Aqua Park.

On the down side : drinks were expensive at the hotel and there were absolutely no complementary drinks at dinner(tea, coffee, juice etc) - we got stung six Euro for 2 drinks of orange juice for the kids. This seemed very tight given the standard and quantity of the food. However this was only confined to dinner and not breakfast.

We bought drinks from the supemarket and stocked up the fridge in our room (about 60p bottle lager and about

This was the best hotel we have stayed in. We were given a junior suite overlooking the sea; the place was spotless as were the deep carpets both in the rooms and hotel coridoors.

They advertise a sweet water pool and it was without any apparent taste of chemicals in the water. The main restaurant opens onto a large open air area where you can eat your meal and watch the sun go down.

The staff were great and reception staff informed us of several nice places to visit such as Zia a beautiful village nestled in the mountains and provided us with a bus timetable which took us there for 1 Euro each.

From the Airport to this hotel cost us 25 Euro in a taxi. This hotel is on a slight rise 250m from the somewhat rocky beech. A walk into Kos town took around 45 minutes or 6 Euros in a taxi.

There were plenty of sun beds at the 3 pools here. Due to the unusual design of the hotel not every sea facing balcony receives direct sunlight for getting a tan. Bars prices tend around 5/7 Euros for a cocktail. Happy hour gives 30% discount. The weather was perfect sunny with a slight breeze.

We were pleasantly surprised to be put into a junior suite with views overlooking the front towards Turkey. We had fluffy white bathrobes (a first on holiday!), settee, chairs and table, fridge (always important on holiday) as well as individually controlled air con. The hotel was on a hill, but not far from the main road.

There were 3 separate pools, and no one reserved sunbeds!!! Prices in the bar were comparable to Kos Town, so we didn't feel we were paying over the top. There was a bus stop not far from the hotel which was ideal for travelling around.

I know people say that 5-star hotels abroad are never the same as here, and I guess they're right, but this one certainly had a good try! The food was excellent - so much variety. We were able to sit on the terrace both at breakfast and in the evening which was just fantastic. And there was proper english tea!!!!!

We would recommend this to anyone - just superb.

The Kipriotis Panorama Hotel in Psalidi Kos, is a 5 star hotel situated 3km out of Kos town. It was a 45 min walk into town along a well-lit and wide road, or 6 euros in a taxi. The hotel was really spacious, spotless clean and fairly quiet at this time of year. The food was really varied and plentiful and always fresh. There was so many different choices, it was hard to choose and hardly any of the foods were repeated in the week we stayed there. The only drawback I could see was that if you chose to have a late dinner, you might have to queue for a table. This could be a problem in high season. After 7.30, lots of people were waiting outside the dining room for a table. We had a junior suite with twin beds, 2 long settees, an armchair and a coffee table. Also fridge, hairdryer, bathrobe, mosquito plug in. There is a well stocked shop in the Hotel and the goods were not over-priced. There was also a Jewellers shop which looked nice but we didn't use. We didn't see much of the entertainment but there was a pianist in the bar some nights who was very good. There was entertainment in the nearby hotels in the group but it was mostly German and Dutch oriented.
The reception staff were good and the maids were exceptionally friendly and good. The only people who were not so friendly in my opinion, were the bar staffed who never smiled or chatted to us over the week. We didn't use the pools (2), so I cannot really comment, but they looked great and there were enough sunbeds for everyone. We would definately use this hotel again, but only in May or September when it is quieter.
