Eat in A La Carte restaurant which us included in all inclusive but you have to pay for your drinks. You need to book one day in advance at the reception. Ask for room on 3rd floor up as these have been refurbished.

As with a lot of other reviews we were worried of the reports coming in but its our first package holiday and we thoughly enjoyed our selves.
The hotel was good, pool excellent,we hired a car-best from across the road -much cheaper. Would go back again.

The only thing that spoils this resort is the beach it is very pebbly.
The resort itsself is very clean entertainment not very good but you can easily overcome that with own entertanment would most definately go again and would recommend this.

The rooms were spacious and clean.the entertainment was constant,you could hear a voice shout football or ping pong and your kids would be off leaving you to relax by the amazing pool.
The disco at night for children was wicked you didnt see one child sat down whilst this was on. The bar staff were just as entertaining especially Michalis one man show which is a must see(dont drop the vodka).
The beach itself is pebbles but this doesnt stop it been beautiful,sunbeds are always at the plenty,pedaleos are a must and if you dare the rings you are braver than me.
I would visit Doreta agin in the future as me and my family enjoed it that much,you came back feeling very relaxed(and tanned)what else could you want.

The resort all though quiet was good for couples wanting to just chill out sunbathe and relax, not a huge ammount of bars and clubs but just the right mix of food and drink!
The beaches were spotless our private beach for our hotel doreta beach was a perfect get away from the busy pool area.
There is a good well stocked supermarket opposite the doreta beach hotel which also has two phone boxes for those all important calls to home!!
A bus service also runs from outside the hotel doreta beach but be careful crossing the road to get to it! its very cheap to get to Rhodes town and the busses run all day inc weeekends very regularly.
All in all a good resort for couples wanting a relaxing break.

Tholos is a lovely village, with a few shops bars and restaurants and this year we found that there is a night club behind one the bars. Would recommend this resort.

The beach was a mixture of sand and pebbles so it can be a little bit to much on the feet when you are trying to get in the sea!

We like the resort as there is just enough to do if you want a quiet holiday. If you want to do more the bus and taxi service are just at the hotel entrance so you can go where-ever you want easily. Mambos the cafe/bar just opposite the hotel was great, the disco had closed the week before we got there as it's nearly the end of season but did have kareoke ( apologies to anyone there the same time as us, we know we can't sing but after a few cocktails...)The staff were lovely, crisps and snacks brought to you along with drinks. Supermarket opposite had everything you needed and was reasonably priced. We love this place are already looking to book up for next year

We have been to Tholos before but at the height of the season. The staffin the bars were very friendly and we ate at a taverna up the road towards the power station on the right hand side a few times - very cheap.
You can get a taxi to Rhodes for 17 eur, Faliraki for 21 Eur. The waterpark in Faliraki is excellent but very steep.

The resort of Tholos is small and quiet,it suited us very well as a family with a young child but for older teenagers it might be too quiet.
Faliraki it is not thank goodness!The beach is windy but clean a mixture of sand and stones.There are watersports and a few bars and shops,also car hire chemist etc.Not really a place to stroll around but enough eating places to provide variety for a week or two.
I would probably go to a southern resort next time but only because the sea is too rough for proper snorkelling which the the kids love.We had a lovely time there.

Beach was brilliant as you could just lie there with a gentle breeze around you!
The entertainment was excellent with a selection on the shops, pubs and restaurant! Billy's Place was the best!
It was clean as the hotel not fantastic but very good. My daughter is scared of coakroaches - didn't see one once.
The resort was not that lively but you could still find several karaoke pubs - so everyones happy!
Would reccomend for to a family wanting a relaxing and fun holiday!
