ask for a sea view as they allocated us a room over nothing although sea view rooms were empty

The West End of San Antonio is a little drab in appearance during the day, but comes to life in the evening!
There is every type of entertainment and eating places available. As this was a family holiday, we did't get to try the clubs, but wandering around at night and soaking up the atmosphere is just as exciting.
Local transport is cheap and readily available. Local buses take you to most places on the island.
Water taxis from around the bay are cheap and regular.
The beaches around the bay are stunning. Shallow, clear waters for bathing and a host of watersports for the more energetic.
A great resort with something for everyone. Would definitely visit again and recomend it without hesitation.

San Antonio itself was gorgeous and full of friendly people. Would recommend the alternative bar Grand Zero, staff were great and was made to feel very welcome

Very pretty resort, beach beside hotel not the best but a short walk away beautiful. Lots to do and see would visit again but not to same hotel.

Excellent small bars with good entertainment - especially Sgt peppers II where they had some very friendly bar staff and banging tunes.

we enjoyed this resort,good shops and bars,they also have taxi boats that take you over to sanantonio town that only cost 3 euros and was better than the bus cause it was cooler ,we never had any rain it was very hot.and we would go back again

San Antonio Bay appears to be split up into several mini bays, Playa Bella beach being in one of the smaller ones furthest away from San Antonio town. This part of the resort is well stocked with restaurants of all nationality, shops, bars and play areas with bungy, go karts, mini golf trampolines and wacky warehouse type areas(at one end). All hotels seem to have an open policy on their showbars and entertainment with most bars showing sky sports and soaps and some bars even showing (new) films as a respite from the heat. There was some litter in the streets, mostly from the winds we ocasionally had. The worst aspect of this part of the resort has to be the beach. It seemed nice enough although small (2 sunbeds from path to sea), although the sea was quite rocky (buy jellies for the kids) but on closer inspection was littered with bottle tops and glass (not being cleaned like other parts of the bay). Also several manholes from hotels on the beach suggest something more sinister. After one morning on the beach my 3 year old developed an allergic reaction to something!! and we stuck to the pool from there on. Don't discount the resort, there is a regular bus service to both Cala Bassa and Cala Conta beaches which are blue flag beaches and fantastic.

the resort was ok it wasnt the cleanest of area's but yet again it wasnt awful. the entertainment on our side of the bay was lacking but the area is fairly new and more buildings are being built as time goes on. the were a few bars but most were a 15-20 minute walk down the road. the beach in my view was awful, you could not see much and there were lots of stones in the sea at low levels in which you would scrape your feet and come out with various cut on them. but i would revisit the resort again as it is a nice relaxing area and its easy to travel to the other side of the bay were the beach there was big and beautiful.

The resort was very quiet and very clean. Highly recommended.
