The room was very spacious and modern. Maid Service excellent. Very Clean.
Staff in the hotel bars and reception very hepfull.
Entertainment - Average, not the best I've seen.
Would definatley go back though.

We returned from a fab holiday in Alcudia Pins on 5th September.
We had flight delays on both ways over but on the way home it was a 16 hr delay but we were put up in another fab hotel. The delays could not spoil our holiday as it was 10/10.
We had a very big two bedroom apartment, massive balcony and it was all very clean.
We had no problems in getting deck chairs and the hotel is on the beach, which is great.
The food was rubbish (takeaway & restaurant) but the pizzeria is to die for, absolutely magnificent.
There are loads of restaurants, shops and arcades a 5 second walk away. We mainly ate in the underground bar which is a family bar with nightly entertainment, it

This was a great holiday for me. It didn't start off very well as the room wasn't ready and hadn't been cleaned, we had to ask for clean towels and the room wasn't cleaned everyday.
The food was alright but eating chips for 2 weeks isn't what I expected. The location is ok but you had to get a bus or taxi to good bars espeacially in can picafort.
The staff weren't very friendly and the entertainment was good for young children but not really for adults. Overall I think Acludia Pins is a great hotel and I'd definetley go back there I had a great time and the hotel was really clean and there was a lot to do.

If you like the finer things in life then this is not the place for you. We stayed at the Alcudia Pins In August of 2004 and I can truly say I would never go back there again even for free.
The resort is far too overcrowed and the chances of you getting a sunlounger after 8.00am are 0%. Even if you do manage to get one you will probably have to get up every 5 minuits to let someone by.
The food is not of a good standard and you spend most of your time queing as there are only 2 sittings.
I can go on forever about the downfalls of the Alcudia pins but I just dont have the time.
Oh yes and most importantly my daughter caught a dose of Cryptosporidium. This infection was more apparent the previous year and we were told that it had been remedeed.
Unfortunately this was not the case. We were stuck in our room for four days because of the vomiting and high temprature.
This place should be called the Alcudia pits. If you are thinking of going... DONT...
You will regret it.

When we arrived at the hotel it was 5am in the morning and we were all very tired. My husband and I had to clean the bedroom before we were able to get into bed.
The room was filthy with dust and hairs all over the floor. There were spiders webs underneath the beds as well.
The poolside area was filthy and most of the holidaymakers were to blame as they left glass bottles, crisp packets, ashtrays and all number of other items by their sun loungers instead of putting them in the bins provided.
The supermarket was well stocked if you were self catering but the kitchen was not well stocked with utensils. We were put into cell block h of the hotel and our room was directly behind the 2 10ft extractor fans which were used for the kitchens.
We could not go out onto the balcony and sit and have a nightcap because it was like sitting in a force 10 30 degree galeforce wind.
Our daughter use to sit outside to dry her hair.
The hotel is quite far from the main town of Alcudia but there is a bus service that takes you there every fifteen minutes (thank goodness).
The entertain was terrible unless you liked bingo and mini discos. This is not a 4* hotel it is more like a 0* and I would tell anyone thinking of going, nooooooooooooooo!!!!! don't do it.
What is it about us brits we seem to put up with anything just to get a tan. The best hotels are the ones with the germans, dutch, and other europeans who always insist on quality and good service which I'm sorry to say you will not get at this hotel. You get what you pay for.

We returned from Alcudia Pins on Friday and have had such a great time that we've booked again for next year already!
I am amazed at some of the negative comments I have read on this notice board, either these people have been staying at a different hotel, lying or they are extremely difficult to please. Some of the comments regarding sanitary dressings floating in the sea and the hotel being littered with rubbish are just that, absolute RUBBISH!
Personally, I am far from easily pleased but I found that the hotel was beautiful, the staff are really friendly and welcoming, the beach is ideal, the pool is cleaned every day and the airtours entertainment team were great.
Our room was cleaned every other day and the restaurant offered a wide choice.
Most of all, our two children (aged 6 & 8) loved it even though they didnt go to the kids clubs and contrary to previous comments, we didnt see any children running through the hotel or underage drinkers.
So if you're booked to go to Alcudia pins, you'll have a great time.

just back from alcudia pins. found it very good kids loved it. entertainment is constent and good. kids didnot want to go to the kids club as there was to much going on at the pool & beach.It is a very safe enviroment ,no cars exc. there is a lifeguard on the pool who is very vigolient.we went half board breakfast was excellant made pancakes in front of you.dinner was nice but you are stuck to a time either 6.15 or 8.00. but found out in last week that if you r not going to make your time you can swop time. all in all alcudia pins is a lovely resort and would recommend it to anyone.

Just arrived home from Alcudia Pins. Havings read some reports we were very apprehensive prior to our departure, we had made a last minute discounted booking. We were pleasantly surprised! Yes, the hotel is very family orientated with lots of small children and we visited during term time, so I would imagine the place is very busy during school holidays. The pool area was very busy. The beach was beautiful. Lots of sunbeds and umberellas - 2 beds and an umberella cost 7 euros per day. The sand was soft and white, the sea clear blue without any seaweed or pebbles. Our 1 bedroom appartment was cleaned and towels changed every other day. Sheets were changed every four days. Yes, meal times are busy but the standard of food and choice was good given the amount of people being catered for. The restaurant staff were wonderful. The entertainment, which is not really our thing, happened outside our room EVERY night! Very loud, but finishing at 12 every night. Love it or loath it, the Airtours team put thier all into it. With the same deal we had this year we would go back.

The Hotel itself is absolutely fabulous. The reception staff were always very friendly and helpful and everywhere was spotlessly clean.
The supermarket and other litle shos on the complex offered a good choice of just about everything you could ever want or need on holiday.
If you are to travel to this hotel I would recommend that you visit the Pizza place - they were gorgeous!!!
I would go back just for a seafood pizza alone!
