I got back from the Alcudia Pins on the 18th September. I'm 13 years old and I realy enjoyed myself. If I go on holiday next year to Majorca I hope to go back to the same hotel.
The scenery from the balcony was great you could sit and watch the entertainment and the sea and pool. The entertainment was cool and one night the theme was Greece, my cousin whos works as an airtours kids rep took place in it.
The help and service you get there is good there's always somebody there who can help you.
I rate my holiday 10/10 and I realy hope to go back there next year and have another wonderful holiday. My advice to people who are are thinking of going on holiday here DO!

Our experience of the complex staff was always a positive one. Always very friendly and helpful especially in the restaurant. Which brings me to the quality of the food - at times excellent but it got a bit monotonous by day 10. The cleanliness of the public areas of the hotel was very good, but the apartment was somewhat negleted.
The locatation of Alcudia Pins is a bit out of the way, which we liked. Very easy to catch a bus anywhere, very cheap and well used. Taxis available on site.
Pool area gets very busy with inflatables and water pistol shooting kids.
Entertainment staff try very hard around their "Olde camp fire"!!!!!!!
And don't forget your're on board the USS Enterprise.
Think Butlins abroad and your about right.
Check out the Iberostar complex close by to see the difference.
Would visit Alcudia again but choose another hotel.

We have just returned from the Alcudia Pins and cannot rate this hotel high enough - we had a wonderful holiday - our appartment was cleaned every 2 days ( floors washed etc), clean towels every 2 days and sheets changed every 4 days, the hotel complex was kept very clean ( after the mess that some of the holiday makers left by the pool - they did an excellent job) -
we were self catering and found that bars/resturants within easy walking distance ( from a few mins stroll to 10 mins) were excellent - great variety and very cheap - good meal for 2 adults and 1 child including pudding and drinks cost less than 30 euros.
We loved the hotel location our appartment was just a hop to the beach - perfect - the hotel does not "own" the beach - the local council provide sun beds and umbrellas - these cost 2 euors per bed and 3 euros for the brolly a day to hire.
We found no problems with the hotel staff - most if not all spoke English and were cheerful and helpful. The Air Tours entertainment team gave 110% - putting on shows for the kids as well as adults - what they lacked in talent they made up for in enthusiasm! - we also had "professional" entertainers as well - couple of tribute bands an illusionist and song/dance troupe - all in all a good variety something to suit all tastes.

I found that the hotel overall was kept very clean and not once did i see a cockroach! the maids visited regularly even if it was only for a couple of minutes! but they were very friendly. The area around the pool was also kept very clean.
the airtours reps tried very hard however most of them lacked talent but they were all very mad and good with the kids. All very children orientated! I personally found myself bored of an evening as i have 2 younger sisters who enjoyed the mini disco and kids club and not many other people around my age (17).
was loads of older kids hanging around the corridors and by the pool at night making loads of noise and causing trouble. I would definitly recommend that you bring your towels inside of night if your balcony is low down as my towel was stolen!!!!

The hotel is a bit remote - good/bad, depending on your view, but is right on the beautiful beach. The pool is way too small (there should be 3 or 4) to handle the number of rooms at this hotel, and the literally hundreds of sunbeds block all the are surrounding the pool.
Entertainment is incessant (good/bad) and piped music is played over the whole complex from 10AM - with the shows lasting till after midnight - EVERY night! We found this too much - as it was impossible to get an early night if you wanted one.
To sum up I would say that its a good clean hotel - great for kids under 10 years old, but I would not return to this North Korean Butlins.

We arrived at the hotel and which immediately gave a good impression, well painted buildings, well kept gardens and a large reception area.
We stayed half board because we have three children and was very impressed with the service and selection. Breakfast came with copious amounts of drinks, fry ups, continental style, croissants and cakes. The evening meal although quite hectic, had plenty of choices for everyone including a childrens selection. A nice steak and jacket potatoe would have been nice and the drinks were quite expensive, but on the whole, excellent.
Location - ideal. A great beach and pool base with cheap buses and taxis for shopping and visits to the Water park.
The hotel grounds and apartments were kept very clean and the room although small was very good. I personally was glad to be at the back of the complex as the noice from the pool and outdoor entertainment was very loud.
Entertainers - very good and work extremely hard.

We had a lovely time at Alcudia Pins!
Staff were friendly and it was fun for all the family. Plenty of children there - not advised for couples.
Food was very nice a wide selection of meats, salads, soups and desserts,etc Restaurant staff were very friendly.
Beach was lovely.
Good atmosphere
Entertainment was poor but apart from that we all had a lovely time and would definitely go again.
Staff were friendly and it was fun for all the family. Plenty of children there - not advised for couples.
Food was very nice a wide selection of meats, salads, soups and desserts,etc Restaurant staff were very friendly.
Beach was lovely.

On arrival at hotel reception staff were very good, we were allocated an apartment at the front of the hotel. This consisted of a bedroom which was actually like a large cupboard - six inch space on each side of two single beds - no space between beds and a two inch space between bottom of beds and sliding doors. Lounge area and balcony were tiny.
Unpacked and went for walk, nearest pub "The Underground" about fifteen minute walk away, 2 pints of lager 8 euros
