This has been the second time we have been here and if you are looking for a beach holiday than you can't beat it.

The pool is good but the beach is excellent about 200m from your room a good tip, go to the beach to the right of the small pier as it is a bit cleaner, it has plenty of sunbeds 2 euro each and 3 for a umbrealla.

The airtours entertainers do a brilliant job especially Tony the scouser. If you want something more livily go to the bellevue area it is ok about 9 euros in a taxi or you can get the bus but the last one back is about 1020.

The port is brilliant with some nice restaurants and bars, cheap as well about 35 euros for meal for two with bottle of wine. All in all a good hotel and resort only downside is you have to get a few buses and taxis but where don't you.

Don't worry about the bad reviews I don't know why people are moaning about it because you get more than you pay for.

We opted for the self catreing option as we like the flexability of it. This we found a really good way of visiting the surrounding area for food. The food on site is good if you like burgers chips and pizza (chicken and mushroom being lovely.

We visited the buffet restaurant that people use for half board. This was about 12 euros and was ok, although we preferred to go off site and to the port for our evening meals.

The hotel was extremely clean and well presented. The pool area was cleaned on a daily basis and samples of the water were taken three times a day which was reassuring.

Especially after people left all their rubbish after a day lying around. The apartments were cleaned every other day, fresh towels given and the maids did a wonderful job.

The only slight problem we found was the location of the alcudia pins, although right on a lovely beach, a large selection of bars and restaurants were a few miles away but the taxis are cheap enough or theres a bus stop right outside the hotel.

We were lucky enough to get a apartment right on pool side and ground floor, and had the sun most of the day and we could even watch the entertainment from our balcony if we didnt want to go doen to the open air ampitheatre.

The staff were helpful and always said hello to you when ever they passed you making you feel very welcome. The airtours kids club team were fantastic with the children.

Watch out for Sarah and mike they defiantley excel at their job and really helped to include my children, who are normally really shy, into the group and a sad farewell was said on the day of leaving.
But they have their photos!!!!!

The entertainment was great with a kids mini disco early evening, then 1 game of bingo, adult fun time then cabaret, not everyones cup of tea but we loved it. This is my second visit to the alcudia pins and I would definatelty go back again this year, maybe next.

This is a top class hotel with top class staff. You are sure to have a great time

The apartment was cleaned every 2 days and the apartments were nice. As we were self catering we often went out of the resort where there are some amazing restaurant to suit all types. Although the food in the hotel was also very good especially the pizza's.

I got back from Alcudia Pins last year now and I am going again in August.

The nightlife is fantastic and it has something on every night. You can also go on a pedal bike.

The hotel has a great pool with a waterslide and two waterfalls. It has Pins burger which is the hotels version of a burgBurger Kinger king. I stayed in Ibiza block room 306.

The place also has a Pizzeria Pins which ranges from a Hawaian pizza to a Ppperoni, and the restaurant is a buffet style - ranges through all ages. It also has tennis courts.

If you go I hope you as mutch of a great time as I did!!!

I think that the hotel had everything you wanted and the childrens entertainment was fab.

I loved the food it had its own supermarket and it had tennis corts and much more.

I think it is great for families

Before I stayed at the Pins I had read some of the comments left on this site and others on the net and was extremely concerned as to what I was walking into. My concerned I

I have been to the pins several times and my family and me absolutaly loved it what a great time we had. The staff were wonderful, and the entertainment fantastic, especially the sister act show.

The food was wonderful loads to eat. Their was lots to do for the children small one and teenagers. We are going back this august can't wait.

Cleanliness - although the hotel was generally clean, our apartment was only cleaned once during the week, bed linen also only changed once, but bins emptied most days and towels changed twice.

Food - Equipment in apartment was adequate for self catering. However, the dials on the hotplates had worn away and so we had to guess which was high heat and which low - some meals took a long time to cook!

Having seen the queue for the self-service restaurant we were very glad we weren't a part of it - people queued for at least an hour just to get in! Hotel food fine if you like fast food. Supermarket fairly well stocked and not to bad on price.

Location - There are some bars and restaurants nearby, but limited. The hotel is quite a way out of Alcudia itself.

Right on the beachfront, and the beach is lovely and very good for kids though did have some powerful waves on occassion. Plenty to do within the hotel complex, but be prepared to part with your cash!

We were very glad to have a room in H block - away from the pool and stage area as we probably wouldn't have got much sleep otherwise.

The swimming pool does get extremely crowded (though we did always manage to find a sunbed or two). Be warned - do not go in the pool unless you are prepared to be squirted at close range by a huge water-pistol-carrying child! They are obviously a pre-requisite for the Alcudia Pins!!!

Staff - Generally polite and helpful. Our sink became blocked and was fixed pretty swiftly.

Entertainment - Kids entertainments pretty good depending on which rep was doing it! Didn't see much of the adult ents, so can't comment. Mini disco every night which our kids loved. Kids club good - but sessions erratic - on two of the days, the club was closed, and on two others there were no sessions until 4/5pm.

Hotel was excellent..Food at dinner was very good, something for all tastes/breakfast was also very good.

I arrived from cruise ship and food was just as good as ship.

The only down side was the buggies for kids/far to many children. I would never use the pool for that reason alone/drop the under fives and this place would be fabulous.

Just arrived back from Alcudia Pins.Booked a late AOA and was pleasantly suprised,athough if we had known beforehand what we have just read on holiday truths we would have been very worried.Our apartment was a very good size, we had two bedrooms and a very large balcony.Maids were very friendly although did'nt always do a great job. Loads of children -even during termtime.Food was quite disappointing, lots of the same stuff. Did'nt like location of hotel, too far away from Alcudia one way and Can Picafort the other direction.Entertainment was'nt brilliant but they tried.Overall though, for the price we paid it was'nt a bad deal. Oh, and the beach was very lovely .
