We arrived at the hotel on the 25/07/2006 for a two week holiday.
There were five of us, myself my husband our two children aged six and eleven months and a female friend.
We booked an apartment as we had a friend traveling with us. To our surprise, when we got into the room it was a square room with a line of beds and a travel cot, a few drawers and a wardrobe.
It was so small we had to get the cot taken out and put the baby in with us.
The rooms smelt damp and there was ants everywhere even in the wardrobe. We asked to be moved but got no joy.
Sunbeds were a nightmare, there was at least five hundred people and only eighty four sunbeds.
You had to wait until 9am for them to be unlocked. We only had sunbeds four days in two weeks.
I would never go back. It was the worst holiday we've ever had.

Probably the worse Hotel we have ever stayed in I would not recommend this place to anyone I liked!
Staff new very little, security guards rude, entertainment ok if you have very little faculties.
Location ok.
Food was like being at school ate there twice even though we were all inclusive we ate out after that!! You have been warned!!!

Just got back and had a really good 2 weeks. Kids absolutely loved it, Brooke cried on last night.
The staff were fantastic, cleaning from morning till night. It was spotless.
The food was ok a bit repetitive but after 2 weeks it's bound to be. Plenty of choice for everyone though, especially for kids ie nuggets, sausages, chips, pizzas there was never nothing to eat. Drinks were bang on had a few days in bed with hangovers put that down to spirits.
We found the walk to beach to be quite pleasant, only took 15 mins or the hotel bus would take you every hour, except for between 1-3 as it's his dinner.
The entertainment staff worked very hard through day and night, couldn't say 1 bad word against them

Stayed for one week. The food was well prepared and hot,the clearing of the tables was very fast.
Hotel staff always cleaning.
The location maps supplied by the hotel were of great benefit as they allowed you to get to the beach etc. very quickly.
No problem getting served drinks at any of the 3 bars.
The Beer was San Miguel but it was not as nice as the same make in the resort bars.
Good entertainment for children but was poor for adults.
The best way to use all inclusive is to enjoy the facilities of the hotel but also go out for some meals and drinks in the resort.

The lagomonte hotel was very clean and the maids did a good job.
The food was nice but they could of had a bit more variety of food, if you like chips you will be ok.
The location to the shops was about 5 minutes away and the beach was about 15 minutes away but you could catch a free bus to the beach.
The entertainment was good and they were very frendly, there was bingo every night i enjoyed that and there was something different evey night after bingo.
The only problem i had is that i booked the holiday thinking that the kids club was 3 year up wards and the kids club starts from 4 year up wards this was disapointing as my 6 year old lad went in but my 3 year old girl could not she was upset and it still says it in the broucher 2007, there is no tennis courts as well.

The reps did not know much about the resort not very useful.

The hotel was very clean and the maids did an excellent job.
The food was what you would expect on a package holiday and there were always several choices for each meal. The restaurant staff worked extremely hard to ensure that even at the busiest times you only had a short wait for a table.
The location of the hotel was fine. Just a short walk to the shops and beach.
The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. As has been said previously the tour reps were poor and the standard seems to be getting worse. This was our fourth successive holiday with First Choice and the flight and organisation was great as usual but the resort staff were poor. On the last day we had to phone the main office to confirm our pickup times as they hadn't even bothered to post the times.
The entertainment was basic but everyone especially the hotel staff did their very best to keep you entertained.
All in all we all had a great time and would definitely go back to this hotel.

The cleaners in this hotel must be up with the birds, the place was cleaned before breakfast and there was always someone cleaning something, even in the evenings.
There was always a good selection of food to suit all needs which was always well prepared and hot.
The hotel is midway between two shopping centres and 20 minutes from the beach. There is a free hotel bus to the beach but it normally fills pretty quickly.
Staff were great. Courteous, friendly and very helpful.
Daytime entertainment was a bit limited and repetative,and the evening hotel entertainment was mainly a game of bingo which went on for ages on one ticket or a mixture of dancing,So we went out to the town where there is plenty to do.

I really didn't enjoy this hotel very unclean and very loud I am 92 and went for Christmas and couldnt sleep a wink !

We stayed at the Lagomonte from the 6th-13th september and we had a brilliant time.It was our first time abroad with two young chilren aged 3 and 4,after reading some of the reviews we were a little worried about what we were letting ourselves in for.
The hotel is spotless with people cleaning morning and night.The rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels.
The food is o.k not the best in the world but what can you expect for a 3* and how can you expect them to please everyone with so many people to feed.The food is a bit repetitive with chips being served all day long and the food on the island is the same burgers,sausages and chips the occasional rubber chicken nuggets.
The entertainment staff were great especially chris and neeley who work 24 hours none stop
The hotel is set back quite a bit but we prefered this as alcudia does get a bit lively of a night time

We arrived at this hotel early hours in the morning and we were pleased that they had put a bottle of cold water in the rooms with some glasses.
The rooms were clean and fresh and the food although satisfactory, there was not enough choice.The bus to take people to the beach was always on time and the driver never left anyone. If he didn't have enough room he would come straight back for the people he had left behind.
My major critisism is that the pool is too small for the amount of people staying at this hotel.The toddlers pool is so small that a lot of the young children were going into the bigger pool and it seemed a little dangerous at times as there were a lot of inflatables in the pool.
That said, we had a great time and the entertainment staff could not have been any better with regards to entertaining the children.
