These apartments were among the cleanest weve stayed in, being cleaned 5 times during our week stay.

The food is good and well worth using the free meal voucher you receive upon arrival, snack bar good too with plenty of choice and reasonable prices.

Most rooms have roofed balconies so it makes sunbathing impossible, we paid extra for a sea view room, which had a huge balcony with no roof and enabled us to sunbathe if the pool area got too much.

This was great as you can keep smaller babies/children in doors where it is cool without having to take them out in the sun so its definately worth paying the extra for sea view.

It took us about one hour to walk to the centre of Pollensa (with a puschair and four year old) which we wouldnt recommend with small children as there is no pavement for about 1 mile so you have to walk in the cycle lane. We got taxis after this which were about 6 euros each way.

We only watched the entertainment on the last night, but the entertainers tried really hard. My son enjoyed the mini disco and there was a magic show later for the adults.
The new joule resteraunt opposite the apartments doesnt look up to much, but the food is really good and the staff friendly, great if you dont feel like going into town.

All in all, this was a great holiday. Wouldn't really recommend for couples as is very family/children oriented and could get a bit rowdy.

I'm really sorry that this isn't a top notch review, its just my opinion.

We arrived here for the second week of a cruise and stay. The cruise was fantastic by the way! We were not sure where we were staying when we arrived in Majorca, but we asked for somewhere close to town and NOT family orientated.

Well, the location was horrendous for us and the hotel was totally family orientated in my opinion. We asked to be moved but the reps and hotel staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. They just tried to get us to buy trips out to "get away from the kids????" We had just spent a week on a fab cruise, we didn't need more trips out, we wanted to relax!!!

We were in block 3, nightmare! We got the bus everyday to town which was great but it finished at 8pm! After this we got taxis. The first night we walked home in the early hours, it took 50 mins and the last stretch was in the pitch black! The only time we stayed in the hotel of an evening was the last night. The last day I had some very personal problems and asked the reps/staff for help, I won't repeat the answers but I was told to "see my GP at home as they didn't have time to look for doctors"

On a positive note, the studios were very spacious and clean.

I'm sure families and alike love the place, but it wasn't for us. Sorry guys, happy holidays!

The Studio Apartments are quite clean but big problems with ants.

The food in the hotel is cheap and cheerful, ok if you do not want to pay for a taxi. The bus service is ok but when it is hot it is better to take a taxi, this can add to the cost of your holiday, so be prepared to add at least

Stayed here at the beginning of the season this year.

On arrival the Hotel was clean with a lovely pool complex. Room was pretty basic, furniture a bit dated, seemed to be a bit damp with a funny smell but perhaps this was because it had only been opened for a couple of weeks.

Food in self service resturant was good with lots to choose from.

Hired a car for week as we knew that hotel was a way out from resort.

Entertainers were lovely people but didnt seem to have their activities up and running which was a shame as our children love joining in.

Felt we were being short changed as they seemed to get their acts together after my husband had a word and we were about to leave!

This was our first foreign holiday with our baby daughter. Although complex was some way from town there is a good bus service from just across the road.

The apartments were very clean, set out on six blocks. I'd recommend blocks 2 or 5 if you have young children to be away from the bar area. However most people with babies were in those blocks on the ground floor which seemed well thought out.

The hotel staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful and cheerful. Everyone including the management mucked in when the restaurant became busy.

We didn't really have much involvement in the entertainment or kids club as baby was asleep quite early, but the team seemed to work hard and the older children we saw enjoying the kids club.

There is a quiet pool area which we enjoyed for the week which is away from the bar and activities.

Our only complaint would be that the First Choice resort reps were rubbish!! I wouldn't waste my time with the welcome meeting which was frankly uninformative and unprofessional. You could learn more by asking at reception.

If you want to go half board it is cheaper to pay when you get to the complex 15 Euros per day rather than the

This is Firstchoice's best hotel in puerto pollensa and will be our third visit to this beautiful hotel. Every time we come here we are always remembered and welcomed with a bottle of bubbley waiting for us in our apartment!

Virginia and her staff are extremely helpful and attentive ensuring that everybody has fond personal memories of this fantasic hotel.

As for the cleanliness you couldn't ask for anything more, 5stars to the maids and gardeners. This year we had new entertainment staff who are a great improvement on previous years.

Claire and Gary worked tirelessly to make both adults and children have a great time with nightly bingo and shows like the Producers, Grease and Gary Dowson's Robbie show is a must!!!!! Can't wait to go back!

We actually got transfered to this hotel after being appaled by the Jupiter Hotel which was disgusting. we were a familly of four ( myself, my husband and my two children, 15 and 10)

Club del sol was lovely. it was beautifully set out, it was very clean and had lovely greenary. The rooms were excellent they had a separate living room area, bedroom and bathroom. it was all very nicely decorated with a tv, fridge and the bathroom was beautiful and clean. we were on the ground floor and so could walk straight out onto the pool which was never crouded and very clean.

The lobby area was very nice and welcoming. the location wasnt the best of locations but it was very quite which was perfect for the relaxing holiday that we wanted. you could walk about 30 mins down the road or take a bus into the town where there was many shops and restaurants. you could also travel the other way on a bus to the main centre town where again there were many shops and markets, and the beach.

The beach was good there was plenty of sunbeds and the sea wasnt too cold.

The hotel staff here were so friendly and always willing to help. We had one particualar staff member that we kept going to about upgrading etc, and he was always happy to help.

The entertainment was great! they put on different shows, had magicians on and all sorts! The holiday entertainment reps were so friendly and made you feel really welcome and relaxed! they also put on there own shows alot which were highly entertaining and they really interacted well with everyone staying there. The staff at the bar were also very friendly and often did tricks with their drink making.

The food was really good. There was a different selection of food out every night to try but they kept the food out that kids would most enjoy ( chips, mainly) and had an excelent range of deserts including icecream, cakes, fruit bowls, jellys, and lots more! all of this was buffet style.
There was also a buffet style breakfast which had a large range of food for a full english breakfast, and there was a vegetarian option which suited my daughter. They also had lots of different cereal and toast.

This really was an excellent holiday and I would definitely reccomend it for anyone! and I would definitely return here it was just fantastic.

This is a very nice, very clean complex, almost like a very small village, 2 seperate pool areas both with adult and childrens pool, one area had a pool bar and snack facility only, all pools were very clean, plenty of sunbeds, only a few sun shades but with an almost constant breeze coming across the bay it made it very comfortable to sun bathe at this time of the year.

Pools were not heated, fresh water but very cold. Rooms were plenty big enough for a couple, sofa beds though and not very comfortable, nice large bathrooms and a good sized balcony.

Try to get into block 2 it is farthest away from the hotel bar and evening entertainment, so no noise in the night time. Bar closes at 12.30 every night. This is very much a complex for families, so a lot of noise from kids running riot round the pools, so if you want a nice quite day sun bathing you have no chance.

Staff were very good and helpful, entertainment was a bit "Butlins" but with so many kids it's easy to understand, so we tended to go into either Pollensa or the beautiful old walled town of Alcudia. Eating out in both of these areas is excellent.

To be honest there wasn't hardly anything negative I could say about the place if you are a young family, we just chose the wrong accomodation for a couple.

Just about lives up to it's 4 star reputation.
