The hotel looked like Butlins un the 60s, the rooms where about the same size pokey and smelly.What the standard rooms where like I dont know as we stayed in a superior room (HA HA)
The dining room in A block seemed ok until you come to the food,it was usually cold, the chicken I had was only cooked on the outside. As for being childrem orientated, the food was not!!! Not even a kids menu, had to buy food for our son most evenings at one of the few bars that are in the town
The hotel location is out in the sticks there is nothing if you dont want to see the entertainment except for the Irish bar, The Aussie Bar and the Chinese Restaurant.
As for visiting the hotel complex again you must be joking,
what a waste of money.
The only good side it was close to a first class beach.

We stayed in this Hotel for 2 week to which we all had a great time, we stayed in the A block the views from this hotel were fantastic especially from the restaurant looking over the bay.
The hotel was very clean and that the cleaning staff work very hard, we had our room cleaned every day, food was good; there was the odd day when it didn

Our rooms were cleaned every day and the hotel was constantly. We were half board and the food was gross. My 3 yr old ate nothing in the hotel all week and as I am a vegetarian (who arent catered for), lived on chips. We ate in block B then it closed down because of lack of staff and had to walk to block A. Location was ok for the area, as their is nothing in menorca to do but lie in the sun, (if it comes out). The staff were nice and friendly including the evening staff who obviously had a very low buget to entertain. Very much like a school production. Definately will avoid the place in future.

food could have been better not much selection for children could be better but cant please everyone hotel is very clean staff work very hard in all areas hotel location could not be better we were overlooking the sea lovely entertainment not bad for time of year we will return to this hotel in the near future lovely

Well we loved our holiday, were dreading it after reading some reviews, but we loved it!!
Excellent hotel right on the beach which is what we wanted.
Wanted a nice quiet holiday - not too much hustle and bustle. We were half board, food was good all cooked and usually hot, I must admit our 2 1/2yr old lived off pasta and potato balls for 2 wks, but she always emptied her plate.
The hotel staff were always very helpful - cannot fault them at all.
The entertainment was great, had a lot of fun during the day do the activities (ended up trying to beat each other on who got the most diplomas) the evening entertainment was great too, our little girl loved the mini disco - every night at half 8 followed by bingo - then a show, the animation team worked very hard.
We would definitely visit this hotel again
We made some good friends there and we still keep in touch

What a dump, the roomswhere pokey and smelly zero stars is about what it deserves.
Cleanlines was ok but nothing special. THe location of the hotel was fine, just the hotel spoilt it.
The hotel staff again where ok as long as you didnt have to speak to them, the could not speak english, and my spanish is not that good,The entertainment was atrocious Hi DE Hi without the laughs.
This hotel is the worst place I have ever stayed in, the food was disgusting, the room we where given was on the ground floor, we specifically asked for nothing on the ground floor. We do not smoke yet where given a room which made us physically sick because of the smell. We requested a transfer we finally got a transfer no thanks to our Airtours Reps.there comment "we have to go to the Airport"
Take our advice steer clear of this hotel

Located on the sea fron the hotel was ideally located, plesant walk down terraced garden to beach. We requested sea view and low floor, and our patio lead onto a grassed terrace leading down to th beach which was lovely. Rooms were standard size, meals good, both comparable to that of other 3* hotels we have stayed. Daily maid sevice, kept room clean. Gardeners and caretakers around and about taking care of the pool, gardens etc. The hotel entertainmenet staff worked hard, putting on some entertaining shows which amused the kids and ourselves. Not so keen on the profesional singers brought in, not my cup of tea (would have prefered a magician or something. Bingo caller (Patrick) quite fanciable i thought.

Well What can we say?? Terrible time, So pleased we dont have little children as there was nothing for them other than be round the pool or tv in the smoke filled lounge.
Food was horrid unless you like chips, cold pasta evernight.
Bar staff were only polite if they were tipped and the price of the drinks were a rip off and watered down
Rooms were small, overrun with ants and allthough cleaned daily (if you can call it that) the sheets were changed once a week.. Cleaners started at 8am and boy you knew it as the slamming of the doors reverberated around the bay let alone the hotel.
The entertainment during the day was nonexistent, especially for the kids. there were entertainments posted on the message boared but when i went to see, the staff weren't forth coming.. on the nightime it was dire, bingo everynight followed by hotel staffs poor attempts
The differnts in the two blocks were startling block A was mainly for Germans, This is the block with bigger rooms, sea views, better food, better decore and generally better all round
Block B is for stupid brits who go, get ripped off, eat poor food, drink watered down beer and put up with it without complaining

stayed on half board basis,different choices of food,but can become a bit boring on 2nd week,my fussy 11 year old found something to eat without any problems.maid service on a daily basis,kept room and lobby areas spotless,worked very hard at all hours.excellent location right on beach front,had to walk into arenel,not much there but we already knew from a previous visit,but then again we wanted a relaxing holiday. entertainment okay kept my son entertained throughout the day, just meet at the main stage,a bit boring sometimes on an evening but you dont have to stay at hotel.

having just submitted a report and read the previous one i had to type a reply,we booked into block A,and paid the extra money to be in that block ,you are given the choice when you book,rooms much bigger and some europeans stay in this block on an all inclusive holiday. dont think that it is really a couples holiday, more family orientated full programme of activities from children to teenages and adults,all you do is meet at the main stage at the times stated, my 11year old son absolutley loved it!!we stayed on ground floor over looking the beach,ants were there and were sprayed daily by maintenace men but never caused concern.differnt choices of food and it can become a bit boring on 2nd week but much improved from when we visited last year.rooms cleaned daily and left spotless as were lobby ares,all hotel staff pleasant at all times,think the last couple had a bad experience cos our stay was fabulous,as this was our 2nd visit i can say i would go back again.
