Brit Hotel lots of loud drunks and CATS CATS CATS and more CATS

Food was not very good quality but there was a lot of choice.

Pools ice cold

Long walk to go anywhere, situated next to the Baku Water Park which is a complete waste of money as well.

Staff were scruffy and did not try very hard this excludes the restaurant staff who tried their hardest and were very pleasant.

If you like noisy Brits, footballs being kicked everywhere while you try to relax by the pool loud music played all day then you will love it here.

I went with my boyfriend to this Hotel, it was very clean, all rooms was cleaned on a daily basis other than a tuesday/sunday.

The pool is very very clean we always seen the staff cleaning in and around the pool, and the is loads of entertainment for the children as the hotel staff come round the pool during the day and get them envovled with pool games and loads of other things.

The only bad thing i would say about this hotel is that the food is horrid, it is basic so if your not fusy with what you eat then you'll be fine, but however the bread was always stale, and food could often be very greasy/oiley.

The area the hotel is based in is around 10-15 minutes walk from the main strip, if your young and want nightlife then there isnt really much there for you, we had a few mad nights out and wasnt great.

the excursions that the locals offer are very good i would reccommend you go on the Ocean Cat (catamaran) its around 45 euro each, but the second person half price, this included jet ski rides and banana boats and snorkelling around the island of Lobos which was lovely, they also include all soft and alcoholic drinks free for the day and a beautiful canarian lunch.

We also went to the Baku Water park which was 5 mins walk from the hotel, it was a great fun filled day and especially great for children, loads of water slides for all ages, and an animal park were you get to see a parrot show, which is fantastic (parrots on skates) really cool.... then there was also a sea lion show and a shark pool...

I would also reccommend for people to visit the sand dunes of correljo as they are amazeing, as you are only so many miles of the coast of the western sahara... its stunning views, but remeber to cover up with plenty of sun lotion as its very windy, so you cant feel yourself burning.

Well after reading the comments on the Hotel, we were very worried about arriving at the hotel for our stay.

All our worries were pointless as the hotel was great. The bedrooms were clean, spacious, and very well equipt.

The Family rooms on the ground floor have two rooms one with Kitchen facilities including a fridge, sink, cooker, and a seating area. And large bathrooms.

We stayed for 7 nights. We had room service 5 times with fresh towels and bed sheets each time.

The Gardens and pool areas were always clean and well maintained. There were always staff cleaning and maintaning the hotel and grounds. The pool is Salt water but its no problem as showers are provided around the pool area for you to rinse after bathing.

loungers and parasols are fee, there is a small charge for the hire of lounger padding and beach towels if you choose.

The hotel catered to all nationalities, not only Germans as some comments state, there were as many British as other nationalities staying there.

There are Televisions in rooms, with limited channels. But who watches Tv when your on Holidays???

The staff were all very friendly and helpfull.

The food is some what basic, but there is always plenty of it, examples were, breakfast; bacon, fried egg, scrambled egg, sausage, beans etc, toast, cereals, pastries. Lunch; chips, meat dishes, fish dishes, salads, deserts etc. Dinner; such the same lunch. Snacks were also available at the pool bar in the afternoon, including burgers, pizzas, chips, ice-cream etc.
Tables were cleared very quickly! And the cutlery was positioned at numerous locations in the restaurant with ease. Butter is away from the bread as it located in the chiller (obviously). if every thing was located in one part of the restaurant, no-one would be able to move there.(As was commeted by one review).

There is evening entertainment in English as well as other Languages. Not the best, but they do try hard.

There were daily activities suitable for all age groups i.e. Water Polo, darts, snooker, football, table tennis, tennis courts etc. Kids club.

There was no air conditioning, but there were fans available to hire, along with Televison remotes, mosquito plugs, adaptors, and safety deposit boxes for your room.

There was also a dry cleaning, washing and ironing service available at the hotel.

A shuttle bus is also available from the hotel, for a fee of 2 euros, back and forth to the sand dune beach. (This also includes a packed lunch and large bottle of water).

If your a half board or self catering guest there are plenty of Local restaurants, bars and shops to look in, and the locals were all friendly.

Overall we both had a fantastic stay in the Oasis Village and we would love to return there!!!!

You will Love it too!!! So dont worry.

Just got back from the oasis village spent 7 days there, The hotel itself was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The downfall was the food especially as we went all inclusive. Only a short walk to the town and also there is a massive water park next door. The entertainment was very poor. There are two big salt pools but couldn't find the gym room and sauna which was advertised. Would not go back to the hotel again.

I never write reviews but felt after reading some on this site and others I just had to set the record straight, after booking my holiday at the Oasis ( all inclusive, 1 week, Sept ) I was scared to say the least! all I can say is I really can't understand some of the other reviews posted here, if people moaned about this place then they really are just that moans! We just returned from a week stay at the Oasis and wow what a great place! excellent pools, excellent grounds, huge rooms well cleaned ( never saw one bug, ant etc. ) staff excellent, food great, drink flowing, what more could you want! my only complaint regarding the room was a mini bar sized fridge that really is far too small and kept nothing cold this needs to be addressed, and as always you could hire lots of home comforts eg. playstation, toaster, kettle, fan etc. ( fan is a must )
We arrived late at night ( 11 pm ) and were greeted with a cold meat and salad buffet with bread rolls, cheese, fruit and yoghurt etc. also a 1 1/2 litre cold bottle of water, what great service! this really was a very welcome snack and the water was lovely after the plane/bus journey.

Seriously we had a ball, as some of the others have stated the food could be better but we found it perfectly suited to our tastes and considering they cater for so many different nationalaties here I'm amazed they do such a good job, yes I would have liked more vegetables but just have more salad instead, I never saw any flies on the food, the food was always replaced when empty, was always hot, and there was a microwave if you wanted it hotter, perhaps if you arrived 5 minutes before the sitting was due to end then things may have been different but then simply go early.. duh! you could help yourself to as much wine and beer at lunch and dinner as you liked same with soft drinks and the staff always had a smile ( a simple word or two in Spanish goes a long way ) and were quick to clean off the tables. Never tried the snacks as to be honest after breakfast and lunch we were never able to eat anything else so can't comment on that. There was a queue for the drinks at night sometimes but not that often and the bar staff were really excellent at clearing the queue although I did have an issue with someone blatantly skipping the queue which the staff also spotted but did nothing about and as they were ahead of me I just had to put them right! but this should be the staff's job when they spot it and not mine.

OK the entertainment is a letdown but as we brought our 6 month old son with us we did not really get a chance to sample the entertainment but lets just say that anytime I went to get a drink to bring back to the room I was happy the bar staff were as good as they were as the quicker you got out of there the better! but seriously folks who rates their holiday experience primarily on the entertainment at the hotel! and if that was what you wanted then you could easily avail of the entertainment services of their sister hotel oasis dunas.

It appears as if some of the negative reviews seem to stem from the issue of people supposed to be in the Oasis dunas and then been told that this is overbooked and been placed here so right away you have some upset people hence ( I believe ) the negative review also some people seem to want an "English" only resort, well if you want that by all means go to Benidorm or somewhere like it but this resort caters for several different nationalities and is enhanced by it as there is nothing like mixing with other people to broaden the mind also everyone we met was very pleasant and polite.

I have always lived by the following saying "You get what you pay for" if you expect 4/5 star hotel treatment then pay accordingly and go elsewhere however if you would like to pay budget prices and still receive a great service with clean environments, good food, good people etc. then by all means come here.
My advice: enjoy your holidays and leave your stress, worries and moans at home, your body will thank you for it!

We were allocated this hotel on arrival, one of the tour reps who greeted us at the airport can only have been making some tongue in cheek remark saying she had stayed at the hotel and the 'food was lovely' - the cooked food was poor, although plentiful.

The restaurant staff don't set tables only clear so half of the meal time is spent wandering around for cutlery, plates, watered down drinks etc., bread one end butter at the opposite end, meals were not a relaxing affair. As a half board guest I enjoyed having the facility of a fridge / cooking facilities in the room.

The ground floor room we occupied had a nice balcony, was clean, tidy and towels changed twice, beds once.
The setting is extremely nice with well kept gardens a variety of palm trees and cacti, tennis courts, basket ball and volley ball courts, table tennis and pool machines (in need of repair). The pool area is attended by a lifeguard 10.00 til 6.00pm, clean and plenty of sunbeds available, however the major draw back is that the water is salt water, the 1" pool tiles are coming off in droves and frequently you stubbed your toe.

No issues with its location. The hotel is close to the water park and not far from the centre of the resort. Has a shuttle service to the beach, didn't use that though.
The clientele was predominantly Europeans; Germans, Italians and French and Spanish. The entertainment staff, two in particular, were friendly, and multi-lingual and seemed to work hard at the kids club (this wasn't used by myself), they always made the effort and encouraged others together with my son (11) to join football at midday and waterpolo in the afternoon. Although there was daily entertainment posted, we only joined in on the evening of the Bingo. In four different languages, it was lively and fun and pleased to say we came away 50 Euros richer!

The only unpleasant behaviour we heard all week was some drunk English guy effing and blinding after midnight so quite frankly, didn't feel the need to have any more Brits around us.

Just back from a week in Oasis Village self catering as I had heard food not good. Glad we did as thats all you could hear people moaning about was the food.

My room was clean and tidy everyday apart from Sunday. Very friendly staff.

Pool bar food was good. Variety of people from kids to OAPs, English and German.

Would stay again as it was quite and relaxing.

After spending a week at the Oasis Village - i would definately go back - The complex was clean and well kept. Reception could do with a paint but to be honest i spent my holiday having a good time not worrying about the state of the place. I used it as a base to sleep and eat.

The food was good and plenty of choice - most people moaned but thats because we are british and mostly what we like to do. People saying bugs and stuff in the restaurant are the type that complain on any holiday.

Staff were helpful / friendly and polite always willing to order fresh towels if needed or give resort info.

Didnt really stay to watch entertainment but sure it was ok as most people wer joining in.

Definatly stop there again and would recommend to anyone.
