This to me is not an all inclusive hotel, more like full board. The breakfast is the best meal of the day.The snacks are pre made toasties burgers hot dogs or chips that are all pre heated, not nice at all. The cold meat is plentiful at breakfast but nothing was out at lunch to go with a salad, very dissapointing. And the evening meal was very repetative. And there is no snacks after 6.oop.m so if the evening meal was nt to your liking then like us it was a trip to the bars where luckily there is plenty of choice.
The hotel is very clean but it was hit and miss when the cleaners came, and we was left 1 toilet roll between 4,so hide spare ones in the cupboards.
The entertainment was none existant with all the same acts so again it was out to the local bars which makes the free drinks in the hotel a waste.
Some of the staff were pleasant but only the odd one.
I would visit the hotel again but on a self catering basis, its in a good location, but whichever way you went to the beach there was a steep hill to climb on the way back.
We had no rep in all the 14 days we were there as she was based at a hotel across the road, which is not very professional for a company like Thomas Cook, if we needed her we had to go there and was nt even told on the times of our pick up to the airport. we went to see her several times but never got to see her.

There were a large family grouping of us that all stayed at villa adeje for 2 weeks we stayed self catering but a few of the party did eat in the restaurant a few times of which they stated was ok and the food was warm enough and fare variety.

There was entertainment every night which kept the kids happy and they really enjoyed it. Some of our party had a rooms to the back of the hotel which was the view of the mountains which was nice and then some of our party had front sea views of which I would ask for the next time we go back to this hotel as the view from there room was lovely.

The staff were always pleasant and the maids were always helpful and changing linen and cleaning up was always efficent.

We only came across the cockroaches a few times but hey to be expected in the canaries it

The food was excellent offering a completely diferent menu everyday. The cleaning staff were constantly working throughout the day to keep things tip top. The location is ideal if you do not want all the noise of the night life but is only a ten minuit walk away. All of the staff are very freindly and work very hard to ensure that your holiday is an excellent one. We are not the entertainment sort of family but some of shows were enjoyable for the children.
This is our sixth visit to the Adeje Beach Hotel during the last four years. Since last year the hotel has improved massively in all areas (its almost a completely different place to visit).
The only down side to the hotel is if you have a room on the forth floor the noise at night is very bad, the hotel has sound proof doors etc to the entertainment area but the forth floor also leads to the reception where people let there children run and play till very very late. Maybe doors leading to the coridor where peoples rooms are would solve this problem.
We will continue to visit this hotel at least once a year and would highly recommend this hotel to any holiday maker

Food had no real selection, same thing every day and it wasnt good we went all inclusive and ate there once maybe twice, as others say staffing is poor and slow and we had to ask for clean towels as the maids jus fold the towels back up, and leave them. Location was no good for us as its not in the centre of las americas, still decent nightlife next to the hotel, and the harbour is excellent, the only thing that spoilt the holiday was the hotel to be honest

My husband and i, along with our friends (another couple of thirty-somethings) returned today from a week 'all-inclusive' at this hotel. I am shocked to read previous reviews!!
Yes,i agree with some points. There is no air conditioning - you can rent fans from reception - very resonably, or open the window, nice breeze wafts through however, the noise from the enternainment does go on until about mid-night.
Also, take care walking by pool ... can be very slippery!

Other than that...where do i begin??! We travel extensivley, at least twice a year (worldwide)and cannot recomend this hotel highly enough!

Have been told that it has been refurbished for this year. We paid

As a family of 4 it was our first time in tenerife and as all inclusive. The hotel just doesnt seem to have got it together, the food was good, the service slow, eg, you get your food then wait 10 mins at bar for a drink cos the staffing levels are poor. Similarly at poolside bar very slow service due to no staff (also pool area very basic and for small children very slippy due to them not hosing it down daily) and as previous comments have stated if you can speak fluent spanish you obtain you refreshments alot quicker! On a number of occasions there were arguments with the bar staff and residents on how long people were waiting to get served, i didnt think all inclusive was supposed to be like this? We went over the road to drink it was less hassle plus the room we were in was extremely noisy due to the karoke bar and we were not getting to sleep till approx 3am in the morn. i feel let down by first choice as they sold us a very expensive all inclusive holiday which didnt live up to its expectations. we made the best of it but not wanting to sound too grumpy when you look forward to your holiday and take it on their recommendation you feel a little let down.

Just came back from this hotel, it has been refurbished this hotel is lovely to stay in, met alot of good people, especially the fit lads!!!

Hotel staff very friendly, the holiday rep wasnt very good as didnt give us the information we needed.

The maid service was good sometimes but didn't clean very much and was without toilet roll for a few days.

Down fall would be that the holiday web sites state that there is entertainment we didnt see any of this.

Would definitely go back and recommend this.

My boyfriend and myself got back from Villa Adeje Beach Aparthotel having had a really great week away. I was slightly worried about was what instore for me having read several bad reviews. However I was very pleasantly surpised when I arrived.

We arrived at the hotel at 2am having had an easy flight over. The staff at reception were very welcoming and happy to answer our questions despite the fact it was the early hours of the morning! Both my boyfriend and myself commented on how clean and well presented the reception area was.

We went to our room straight away as we were both exhausted, the room was immaculate and of a very good size. There was a kitchen area, with a breakfast bar and four stools, a cooker with two hobs, a kettle, sink and fridge. There were two large single beds pushed together to make an oversized double bed (which was very comfortable), two bedside cabinets, a very large chest of drawers with a large TV on it (one downside being that you had to pay for the TV, 1 euro for an hour). The bathroom had a shower, a bath, a toilet, a sink and a biday. The balcony was very spacious with a table and two chairs, it was very nice to sit outside in the hot nights.

The food at the hotel was fantastic. Unfortunatly I cannot comment on the breakfast as after late nights, I did not manage to wake up in time for breakfast (oops!). However I can highly recommend the lunch and dinner. Both lunch and dinner consisted of at least 20 different types of bread, a range of cold pastas, salads, cheese and ham and around 15 diffenet hot meals including steaks, pork chops, chicken, fish, pastas, rice, vegetables and many different forms of potato! Then there was a range of different desserts including fruits, gateaux, creme brulee's, yoghurts and ice cream. All of the food was really delicious!

Hotel staff were all really helpful especially as our holiday rep was not overly helpful. They were always happy to answer any queries that we had. The cleaners were amazing, there was not a single time that I walked through the hotel corridors without seeing a cleaner somewhere about! All the waiters at the restaurant and bar were great, had really great sense of humours and were always on the ball about who needed drinks etc.

The only complaint I have with regards to the hotel is due to the fact that it is relatively cheap and in an area with lots of pubs and clubs, it attracts a lot of 'Lads' who are purely out to harrass anyone of the female form. It did get slightly tiresome. However I understand that this is not anything to do with the hotel.

I realise I have probably gone a little over-board on this review, but I felt I needed to write a lot to override all of the negative reviews! I think that the refurbishment has been totally successful and I would definitely go to Villa Adeje Beach again.

We were totally ignored by the bar staff,we found them very racial.we had two children in our party
they were also ignored and many times waited at least twenty minutes just for ice cream or chips.
We would not recommend taking children to this hotel
as there is no entainment for them, also the pool aera
is very dangerous people were slipping all over the
place we had to be with them at all times.
We felt sorry for hotel staff as they had to do the work of two or three people on their own.
Entertainment very poor.
Cleanliness very poor, towels not changed every day.
Would not recommend this hotel to anybody,
and we feel completly let down by our holiday company.
