Stayed at this hotel for Xmas & new year 2005. Really enjoyed the stay. Food was good with plenty of variety and was very fresh.

Xmas day the food was particulary good and the hotel staff excelled themselves to make it nice.

Rooms are great with plenty of room and cleaned every day.Ask for a room overlooking the pool as these are the quietest in the night.

Not really any complaints, except the evening entertainment was not the best. They would have been better having a disco every night as some of the acts were quite boring. Other than that the hotel is very good for families and couples.

I would definately recommend this hotel and would use it again.

Me and my partner were at bit anxious after reading some of the reviews on here but decided to go to the hotel with an open mind.

We arrived at the hotel and went to reception. Here we had our photos taj=ken and were issued with our all inclusive cards which also was the room key.

We got to our room and were happy with our room we had a nice view of the pool and the mountains and our room looked clean and spacious. The cleaning staff here are very through and they cleaned the apartment everyday and seemed friendly enough.

The location of the hotel is excellent couldn't fault it. We were a five minute walk away from the beach and shops of fanabe which was great. The only downside was that Playa da las Americas was a fair hike to walk although me and my partner did walk this far during the day but got taxis at night. The area of fanabe is so much nicer than Playa da las Americas so didn't find this to be too much of a problem.

The resort entertainment at the hotel was very kiddy orientated puppet shows and magicians but this is understandable as there is a lot of families with small children at this hotel.

The only downside of the hotel like many other people have said in their reviews is that the food isn't very nice. Everything was very fatty and tasted like it was cooked/fried in oils which wasn't really to mine and my partners taste. We did go to the barbecue restaurant one night which was nice they have us a mixed grill which dodn't taste too bad. This was a downside because one of the reasons we went all inclusive was because we didn't want to spend much on food but we ended up eating out all the time, however I think we saved lots of money on drink which evened it out.

I wouldn't visit this hotel again but that is purely because we wouldn't go all inclusive again.

We had a great time here. We were surprised at how close we were to the beach. Still a bit of a walk but lots of shops, bars and restaurants on the way.

The hotel itself was great although the rooms let it down a bit. A little on the small side and quite shabby for a 4 star hotel but for the amount of time you are in the room it was ok.

The kitchen is hidden behind some cupboard doors but the fridge was handy for those late night duty free drinks!!! One word of warning, there is no hot water to get a shower between 5.30 and at least 7pm so either get one in the morning or have one early afternoon.

The restaurant was big enough and the food was varied but not a great deal for kids if you have a fussy eater like mine! There were always chips though. There were notices of what some dishes were but not all and 90% of the time you had to guess what was in them. There was alot to choose from though and plenty of fresh fruit and salad. You can also get drinks with your meal and if you drink wine with your evening meal, they leave the bottle on the table!

The bar is ok and deals with any queues quickly so you aren't waiting too long. There are different cocktails daily and the Sangria is lovely. They also serve champagne. The only drawback is that they stop serving at 11pm but the evening entertainment doesn't start until 10pm. There is a mini disco for the kids every night with songs and actions at 9 that goes on for 20 minutes but they didn't change the songs and they get on your nerves after 10 days!!

But the kids have a good time. They also have sport activities each day but not many that young kids can take part in.

If you are stayng at the hotel for the day, go to the pool in part A as its bigger and gets the sun for longer. It also has a better bar! Pool B is ok but hardly gets the sun and you will be lucky to get a lounger unless you are there at 8.30am! All the loungers are taken by 11. The small kiddies pools are quite good tho and are in the shade by midday but still warm enough to play in without getting burnt.

There is also an unlimited supply of ice cream that the kids can just go up and ask for with at least 4 different flavours.

It was clean and tidy and fairly well organised. We only had 1 cockroach in the room but we were on the ground floor. The downside of this was that our balcony faced a busy road level with the pavement so the view wasn't all that good. It would have been better if we overlooked the pool or something.

There is a short cut to the shopping centres at the back of the hotel which we found out on the last day! Grrr. But its good to get your lilos and rings and cheap for drink and souveniers.

You can also book your excursions there too and its cheaper than what the hotel charges. Overall, we had a great stay and will probably go back there again in a few years.

Arrived at the Jardin Isla Bonita with quite a good expectation after reading the reviews. Wasn't impressed with the room we had been given as it was overlooking the main road but it was on the ground so wasn't that bothered.

My husband and I weren't over whelmed with the food as it did get very repetative and sometimes didn't eat in there for that reason only.

As for the drinks there was only a small number to choose from so if your expecting a good choice dont and the lager wasn't that nice but very strong.

Also there are a lot of german people stopping in this hotel and my husband and I really felt like telling them were to go as they were so rude pushing and shoving in the resturaunt like they owned the place

When we arrived in our room it was infested with ants.
Complained to reception and they were very very helpful and moved us to a temporary room for the night.

The next morning we were givin a choice of rooms which we found fine.

There was a excellent choice of hotel food but not to our taste.

Me and my son and a lot of other guests came down with a stomach bug which lasted a couple of days.

Entertainment was the same poor quaility every night.

I am quite sure this hotel should qualify as 5 star.

The good side of it was the hotel was very clean and all of the staff were very helpful and polite.

The hotel was great it was very big but had enough space and sun loungers for everyone and it was clean.

The hotel food was not to my taste at all nor was it to anyone else I spoke to. That was their only downfall considering it was an all inclusive holiday I did expect the food to be of a high standard.

Other than that it was fine, didnt have to queue much and the entertainment was ok. It could have gone on for a bit longer though as the kids disco is on until 10 and then from 10-11 its the grown ups time then its lights out.

I wouldn't visit this hotel again due to the food.the staff work very hard and do a good job!

Arrived at hotel and was a bit bemused to find you had to walk through the entertainment area to get to reception but well signposted and later realised that it was in fact in a good position for getting to while in the hotel.

Greeted by very friendly and helpful reception member and was booked in in about 10mins.This included getting a photo taken for the all inclusive id card which doubled up as room key and air con key.Found this much better than a wristband and small key with giant plastic thing with room number on!

Our room was big and spotless but opened up the patio doors to balcony and was sad to find a busy road with a bus stop outside but thought we would try one night before complaining!Couldnt take the noise though and asked to be moved.I was ready for a lenthy moaning session with reception but no need. Was moved no questions asked within 24 hours to a room overlooking the pool.Bliss!

Lots of pools with lots of sunbeds but as with most hotels not quite enough umbrellas. But hey. When in tenerife do as the germans do and get up and chuck the towels on youre spot.Pool area was locked until 9am so didnt have to get up too early.

Was not impressed with food.Fish in strange sauces and bacon which we all agreed was belly pork but plenty salads fruit and of course chips but there was always paella and pasta so didnt find myself going hungry.4 or 5 different ice creams for the kids at all the bar areas which was great.

None of us got funny tummies or were ill. Ate in the Italian restaraunt but much the same as main resturaunt except for the choice of pizzas but even they had tinned mushroom and what tasted like spam for the ham!

Alcoholic drinks were fine if not a bit strong! Beer wasnt that nice but ended up drinking enough of it! Nice touch at the staff making kids cocktails and my son was impressed with the tequella sunrise(without the tequella of course).

Mini, mini disco started at 9 which if you have young toddlers may seem a bit late but there was no shortage of kids willing to get up to dance.Did a mixture of songs with actions and by the end of the week the kids were singing along to Spanish,German,Dutch and of course British songs.

Top marks to entertainment team.Leanna,Frenchie and of course the famous Ceaser whos energy was unlimited. He even got me on stage and thats saying somthing. But dont worry he wont push it if you dont want to.The other shows started at ten and the week we went I thought they werent that good but there are plenty bars and resturants in Fanabe so you dont have to stay in the hotel.Be warned..Bar closes a 11pm on the dot.Pay for drinks until 11.30 but just take a bottle of wine from dinner and put in room to have youre tipple before bed!

Good staff, clean rooms, clean pools and close to beach make this a hotel i may return to in the future.Food could do with a revise and, a bit of updating the rooms would be good. Not quite a 4 star but if these things were done it would nearly pass as one.

Met some great people there and wished we had gone for two weeks. Dont be scared if youre booked for this hotel. You will have a nice time. No pig trotters on menu when we were there!

Also received a nice letter from hotel when we got back asking if we enjoyed our stay and telling us to come back soon.May just do that!

After reading some mixed reviews before my holiday was slightly nervous .

Very surprised to find that the hotel was very clean, rooms cleaned well, staff all very helpful and polite. id cards issued were great and kids had them on neck cords so they didnt loose them.

There was no problem getting drinks for all the family on production of only one card at the bar , sometimes it didnt even need to be shown at all. Packed lunches provided by the hotel on request were huge. Meals in restaurant had variations catering even for special dietary needs. The Italian restaurant was lovely.

Sunbed towels were provided and could be changed daily which was great because there is nothing worse than smelly towels a week into your holiday. Having to put towels down before the germans in the morning became a joke especially if security came around and took them all away for being put on sunbeds too early. The english always queued at the buffet, but other nationalities just barged in which did become tedious if you had been waiting at peak times to be served.

We went in a large party and had no trouble being seated together at meal times. The one piece of advice I would offer is not to buy excursions off reps, local day trip offices could get them at almost half rep costs for the same trip.

We had a lovely holiday and would definitely go again, caesar the hotel kids entertainer was fab and the kids loved him.

The hotel was lovely and clean, towels were changed daily, as long as they were left in the bath.

Dont know how any one could complain about the food there was something there for everyone. My 8 yr old daughter had her first taste of caviar... and loved it....yuk!

It was a 10 min walk to the beach, but lots of interesting shops to look in on the way down!

Staff were really friendly the bar shut at midnight, but you then had a choice of buying drinks. Didnt have a problem with that!

Entertainment was a bit boring. Although it kept my daughter amused, along with her 7yr old mate... my older two, aged 12 and 13 were a bit bored, but they didnt complain too much.

John and I had re-visited for our second honeymoon, it was magnificent and romantic evenings were superb.

Every aspect satisfied us, I may have been harsh on my ratings, we normally travel executive class.
