We were visiting Tenerife as a group for the first time and were not disappointed. The Villa Mandi had lovely spacious rooms fantastic grounds and a very relaxed atmosphere. Only one of us played golf
(Girlfriends father) but that didn't seem to matter even though it's a golf resort!
Don't shop at the hotel shop unless its an emergency as the prices are very high. For example we bought some stuff and it cost 60 euro's in total two days later in Los Cristianos we got the same stuff and more for a total of about 13 euro's!!!!!!
Location was not bad as was nice walking distance but still quiet at night. only problem with location was the roadworks which were everywhere.
Overall a fantastic holiday just remember to take an extra couple of hundred euro's for activities. "Teide by night" etc. we returned on a Thursday and booked for next year there on the Saturday.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was massive! Much bigger than I expected with a huge sun terrace and balcony. There was an upstairs bedroom and bathroom and we were overlooking the local golf course. Downstairs there was a separate bedroom and bathroom kitchen/dinner and lounge. The cleaners came every day and if you wanted they would change towels and sheets every day. A couple of times we weren't ready to leave the room as we got up late but they were always happy to return later. Cannot fault the accommodation at all.
The entertainment for the kids were amazing, kids clubs run every day all free. Special thanks to Magic Mark Cool Clare Krazy Kelly Jolly Jennie Amazing Adele and Anna Bana for making the kids holiday so much fun. Also there was a daily kids disco with a special visit from Thomson the dog which my two loved on our last day.
The only downside if any is it is a good 20 min walk to the beach/restaurants. However the taxis are cheap and what we did was walk to the beach and get a taxi home. The taxis were always available never had to wait once. Even on the odd occasion when the hotel called us a taxi to take us into town they arrived within 5 mins unbelievable service.
All the hotel staff were very friendly and made a special effort with all of the children.
I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone we had a fantastic time.

This hotel was of cleanliness and space, the rooms were huge and the cleaners cleaned everyday including a Sunday.
Although the hotel was slightly out of the way, we prefered that, you could walk into town in 10/15 minutes or get a taxi for about5 euro,s, and we have been told by numerous taxi drivers that next year all the roads and pathways were to be changed making it easier to get to and from Los Christanos or Las Americas.
We will definitely be returning to this hotel, the entertainment was excellent, the staff were polite and friendly.
If I were to pick a fault it would have to be our room location, it was on the ground floor right next door to reception and we heard every suitcase/cleaners trolley/etc... being wheeled to and from reception, I would recommend a room golf/pool view next to the mini golf area, there is a small play area, baby,s pool and a further pool, and your still only a stone throws away from all the action in the main pool, where there are endless activities all day long.
We went with our two children aged 5 and 7 and they throughly enjoyed themselves and as parents if the children are happy so are the grown ups.

The Villa Mandi Resort is just unbelievable. The rooms are huge, the cleaners were in every day and made a great job, they would have changed your towels and sheets every day if you had wanted. The restaurant was very busy in the evenings and some people got frustrated as they were a bit slow, but hey, you're on holiday, chill out relax, the food was good and the Sangria even better. You did have to get up early to "bag" a sun lounger but most places are like that nowadays. Pools were great, the entertainment was great every night, fab shows, some by the reps some from outside. Cant speak highly enough about Chris and Jodie the entertainers and Chris - if you're reading this - you'd better be looking out for Dundee United's results as promised!! The reception staff were so helpful, friendly - just can't speak highly enough about it. The apartments supermarket is fab, the girls so friendly, everything British to keep the kids happy and not expensive.

We have just arrived back from a fantastic holiday at the Villa Mandi. The hotel is absolutely lovely, really clean and the rooms are massive. Most rooms have a gorgeous view of the golf course. We had a massive balcony, so loads of room to store the air beds etc. Bathroom was massive with 2 sinks and hairdryer. Air-conditioning is free in the rooms, with separate controls for the bedroom and the living area. We only ate from the snack bar a few times and the food wasn't brilliant but it was OK. Not sure what the food was like from the Restaurant. Hotel staff were really nice and friendly and spoke very good English. There is a shop in the hotel, but it is very expensive.
The entertainment was fantastic. There is a daytime and evening programme. Chris and Jodie are the entertainers and they do an amazing job keeping everyone happy. They certainly kept us entertained day and night. We had a right laugh with them both. The kids reps are also fantastic with the kids, and do a brilliant job looking after them.

The hotel was spotless with cleaners seeming to be working all hours. Rooms were cleaned everyday.
We never tried an evening meal but the breakfast was excellent mix of continental and English breakfast as much as you could eat for

I have got to say that this was the best holiday we have had as a family - all the staff were brilliant and if you read this Chris (Head of Entertainment) your dancing needs more work than your jokes.
The whole environment brought the majority of guests together. Word of advice for the dads, get in the pool and take the reps on at Water Polo. Jodies top always ends up getting ripped off and everything falls out. Get Emily to fetch the ball when it goes out of the pool, second best sight in Tenerife - behind the wife of course. Watch Chris and Magic Mark - they cheat.

The Villa Mandi is an excellent hotel and very much the 4* that it states in the brochure. We stayed on a self catering basis which worked well for us with 3 children aged 1,5,7 the kitchen was very well equipped.
The hotel was extremely clean and there was always cleaners around all day long.
The food was excellent and there was a great choice.the location for us was great because you are not far from los cristianos and las americas but you are not in the thick of it all as it can get quite busy down there.
The staff at the hotel were excellent and there English was great they were extremely helpful as were the reps who were there to great us when we arrived helping us to our apartment our masses of luggage.
And to find a bottle of water in the fridge for us is a nice touch especially as arrived quite late.
The reps I have to say were without a doubt the best we have come across. Chris was brilliant and kept us all entertained every night the childrens reps were great and the kidzone was a god send giving the kids time out from us adults.

Hi all this is one beautiful hotel, very clean and with the most helpful staff. The only bad thing about this hotel is the location it is one side facing the golf course. What is really really beautiful but on the other side is ugly waste land that is marked out for future hotel building.
It is about a mile from the beach with nothing around the hotel food is really expensive about 80 euros for 2 adults and 2 kids but the food is really nice the kids club is brilliant very lively kid reps full of games I would recommend this hotel but you need a car.
I wish they could relocate the hotel on the front what a holiday that would be thanks Gary.

Ideal for drinks and food shopping from this hotel area, try down the road to the school area at the graffiti wall on the right large grey warehouse, very cheap. This helped a great deal with the hotel having a poor location
