My family and I stayed in the Peggasus in Sept for 2 weeks. Can not fault cleanlinees 1st class.

Food was ok lots of choice, but not for kids in the restaraunt!! Same food every night.

Knew before we went that it was in the middle of nowhere so no surprise!

Now the entertainment was fantastic the whole entertainment team worked so hard.

Would visit again BUT they must sort out mossies !!! Tried everthing to keep them away but to no avail. They say this hotel is built on a swamp IT IS!! Only thing that spoilt holiday mossies.

Forgot to mention swimming pools must be 14 in total, if you have kids who like pools and slides then your in luck ....

We stayed all inclusive at the Pegasus Tropical, the food was lovely and plenty of it but the self catering was a bit manaic at times, it was so busy youu felt like u had to rush to choose your food, but there was no rush to leave the restaurant, all the staff were helpful.

Not a lot to do in the nite though unless u go down the village of Sarigerme which is walking distance but a taxi at night about 8 tlira its worth a visit. Lots to do at hotel for kids and theres talent comps and quizzes if you like that.

Im a wheelchair user and i want to reassure any chair users that the tropical is accessible and there are 'handicapped' rooms available with a large walk-in shower with lots of rails but nowhere to put any toiletries so id take a 'hang-up toilet bag' so you can get at that stuff when your in the bathroom, it is big enough to turn the wheechair. If at first your not allocated one of these rooms just ask to change at reception in the daytime. these rooms are on the ground floor close to all anemities, just down the ramp from reception.

Dont do what we did and went up and down in the lift to get to our room- lol, the resort is so big it takes a while to get your bearings. the fitness suite could also be accessible, sauna, and Turkish bath, dont be afraid to try one, treat yourself and enjoy !!

I found the hotel fantastic. The food was good and the resturant was nice but we preferred eating outside as it didnt seem so crowded. We tried the indian and italian resturant and had a lovely meal at both. The staff were fantastic and worked very hard.

Although the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, there are buses and taxis that are at the entrance of the hotel. There is a market in Serigermie on a Sunday which was a good laugh with lots of good bargins to be had.

The entertainment was ok but it did get repeated the second week, but the daily quiz and activities were good.

All in all we had a great time. We have been to Turkey for the last 3 years and this holiday was by far the best. We have booked for next year already only next time we will be more prepared for the mozzies!!!

We went to this resort for one week last year and loved it so much that we came back for two weeks this year.

We were not disappointed and had a fantastic time once again.

This year we were a bit more adventurous and went on some trips. We did not book these at the hotel but took a walk into the village one evening and booked them locally. It turned out to be much better value.

The highlights of our trip were:
Scuba Diving with my 9 year old daughter and holding the octopus and starfish that we found. (We

Arrived back a couple of days ago. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel.

Cleanliness:- If anything they were overly clean. For example my 1 year old sat in a highchair for his - meals and dropped many things on the floor (as they do) - within seconds this was swept away which meant that the poor person doing the sweeping actually visited our table several times during each meal.

Food:- Breakfast was the best meal. You had many choices; cereal; omlette made in front of you (you choose the ingredients); pancakes; full English (although bacon only appeared every few days); continental; yogurt; croissants & other pastries; fresh fruit; & more!

Lunch was either in the buffet restaurant (serving food very much like the evening dinner) or at the snack bars which had; pizza; fish fingers; chips; jacket potatoes; toasties with various fillings; tuna melts; hot dogs; hamburgers; limited salad items; limited fruit options; & more.

The evening meal was in the buffet restaurant. If you got there between 6pm & 8pm there was an extra layout for children which consisted of the same things every night; pizza; mashed potato; sausages; chicken nuggets; meat balls; baked beans (not Heinz). The 'adult' section always had chips available but also various other options which varied but sometimes repeated - we found that towards the end of our holiday they were actually providing more variety. The was a salad bar area wit loads of choice of preprepared salads on one side and separate chopped vegetables on the other side so that you could compile your own. There was also a sweets bar (tons of choice) and an ice cream cooler.

Drinks:- You could help yourself to wine, tea, coffee and soft drinks around the hotel & the outside bar areas - anything else you had to queue for but only for a maximum of a couple of minutes.

Location:- Out in the middle of nowhere (as expected from reading reviews on here before we went). I fully recommend a visit to the Sunday market in Sarigerme where you can haggle for some 'cheap quality crap' as they themselves call it. It is actually reasonably good quality fake branded items at extremely cheap prices (if you're good at haggling). One tip - visit in the early afternoon as the morning is extremely busy.

Staff:- Kind and courteous at all times. Couldn't really fault them.

Entertainment:- We went to the amphitheatre on the first night only as I got terribly bitten by mosquitoes and ended up having to see the doctor to get the resulting blisters syringed so can't really comment too much on entertainment. However (hot tip) please remember to take tropical use insect repellent with you as I have terrible scars on my legs now. The tropical use stuff can only be used from age 6 upwards so you'll need a childrens spray too if you have younger kids. My children (age 1 and 3) were not bitten at all. You can buy some good repellent in the shop there (in a white bottle with an orange sticker) for 6 Lira (about

We travelled the first 2 weeks in August. My daughter too was very poorly for 7 days and ended up seeing the doctor. She was one of the lucky ones. Some were admitted to hospital. The reps were useless and uncaring!!!! Made the most of our holiday though.

Swim kids, stage coach and football all well organised and worth the money. Kids also loved the water slides.

When we did get out to see Turkey eventually on the last couple of days it is a beautiful country. Shame we were staying at the Holiday Village.

Entertainment was ****!

Food seemed ok but was up and down. However after seeing the way they cooked chicken I am not surprised my daughter was as poorly as she was. We were the first ones in the restaurant a couple of times and some dishes were hardly warm. It certainly wasn't people leaving food uncovered that caused this. Breakfast was the worst meal. Coffee cups milk etc ran out easily. Never found a clean table to sit out. It was like a cattle market!!

Rooms hardly touched and you could not lay your hands on a clean towel. Many a time we were chasing around trying to get towels as all the dirty ones had been taken from your room. First and last full inclusive we will do!

In my opinion there was not enough staff to cope with the demand during peak time. It may well have been different early on in the season but it was obviously a problem when we went. For us it was just too big. We were in a 4 star First Choice accom last year which knocked strips off of this place. It struggles to deserve 3 stars!!!

I could go on but I'm sure you get the picture!!

We have just returned from 2 weeks at the Pegasos Palace and had a wonderful time.

This is a very large hotel (and complex) which caters for a huge number of people and does so very well - any one who, like us, is worried about last year's reports - ignore them! I also find it difficult to understnad some of the people on here who have managed to find something to moan about - and in a few cases it seemed like they had stayed in a different resort!

We arrived on a Saturday evening, were quickly checked in and our bags delivered to our room. We managed to get something to eat and then unpack and have a great night's sleep ready to make the most of our holiday!

We stayed in a jacuzzi suite and I have to say that this is one of the best rooms we have stayed in anyway - and we have travelled a fair bit around the globe. Our lovely separate room had it's own air conditioning unit - if anything it was too efficient and we woke up cold a couple of times! Our kids slept in the lounge area and loved it. They had their own air conditioning unit too and it was great to be able to vary the tempurature - they are also remote controlled which means you dont even have to get out of bed!

The whole place is kept spotless - the staff work so hard, our cleaner kept our room immaculate - we never had to hunt for towels? They were changed every day.

Food - very high stanard - I defy the fussiest eater not to find something to enjoy - from plainer dishes for the less adventurous (oh yes they serve chips!) to themed evenings - particularly good were the Chinese/Thai, Mexican and of course the Turkish! Great variety of meats, potato, rice, pasta. I cannot understand how some found the food lukewarm - it was always piping hot - and yes people do leave the serving lids up which is frustrating! Puddings - I am salivating just thinking about them; I must have eaten enough of the chocolate mousse to sink a battle ship! Again if you want to watch your waist line (I just watched mine expand!) there is always an excellent selection of fruits. We did meet someone who complained about the chicken soup every time we saw her (three days in a row). Try something else....

The grounds are fab - pools fantastic, slides on site (the slides at the Tropical are bigger and faster than those at the Palace but it is great to have the choice). The grounds are kept so clean - there is always someone cleaning, removing cups and plates (more of that in a minute). We found the reps helpful and approachable - perhaps those who experienced problems might like to think about how they spoke to the reps in the first place......

Kids clubs were excellent - busy so you do have to get there a little early to get in but we found the staff helpful and efficient and the In2Action staff are worthy of a special mention - they were great and my 10 year old son had a ball.

Mostly we met lots and lots of lovely families who were on holiday to chill out, have a good time and try new things. It is such a shame that there were (as usual) about 1% of the British chavs who seemed to want to moan all day and drink lager. On occasions I was embarrassed to be British. The staff are so helpful - if you add a 'please' and 'thank you' that gets you a long way - seeing people demand to have drinks served at their table because they had had to wait 2 minutes was embarrassing.

It is a busy resort but you can find some real havens - for example, the restaurant does get very busy but we found eating outside in the upstairs restaurant much quieter - and you get a great view of the grounds at the same time (plus chavs find it difficult to climb the stairs apparently). There are at least three pools that are totally away from everything if you want peace and quiet.

We are already looking to go back next year - we have been to Crete all inclusive for the last 4 years and the Palace beats it. Go with an open mind and chill out and you will have an absolute ball - we did and I hope anyone going does too. If anyone has any questions I'd be pleased to help out.

Pegasos Tropical

Having just returned from the Pegasos Tropical, I would like to add some comments which , I hope, will be helpful to others.

First of all - this is an extremely busy and very large hotel (both Pegasos and Tropical), almost exclusively British. So if you like a cosmopolitan atmosphere-this is not the place for you. Reception lobby reminded me of a train station. Because the Hotel accommodates 2000 guests -main pools get very crowded. One word of warning- in order to get a sunbed, I had to get up everyday at 8 a.m. to reserve it. After 9 a.m. -forget it! I also heard that some guests at Pegasos (sister hotel) were up at 7 a.m. to reserve beds. This is a huge downfall and although the site is huge -pool areas are too small for the amount of guests. Good news is that there is plenty of shade and pools themselves are nice and big.

Rooms are fine and very clean and we were lucky enough to have a balcony overlooking the sea. However, others were not so lucky and had rooms overlooking restaurants or apartments. Hotel is clean, although tiles on the side of the pools looked a little grubby.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, particularly evening bar attendants receptionist.

Food not fantastic but I suppose one should not expect great food when a hotel has to cater for 2000. However, there were plenty of lovely fresh salads and deserts.

Loved evening entertainment -brilliant and plenty to choose from-this is a definitive plus. Great kids clubs.

My 16 year old son loved the hotel due to the fact that there is a open air disco (beach bar)which stops at 1 a.m.

Because this is such a busy hotel, my younger son found it difficult to make friends as you tend not to see the same people day after day.

Overall -do not worry about last year reports -the hotel is not as bad as some people describe it. If you like big and busy places with plenty to occupy you and your children-then this is the place for you!

Arrived at the hotel, and check in was very quick and easy with the bell boy being on hand to deliver to cases to our room. The room itself was great, air-con, jacuzzi, sky TV so I never had to miss the football.

The hotel is spot-less as the staff are continually cleaning the place. Our maid cleaned our room daily, and we had fresh towels everyday, simply by putting the 'please make up our room' on the door.

Bars were fine as well with the beer good, but beware Bacardi drinkers as this is extra.

Pools were great, with plenty of room to mess around, and loads of beds available. Water slides were also good fun (especially at the tropical where they are faster), although only having them on between 10-12 then 2-4 meant some queues, as people understandably had to get their fun in.

Food was great, always plenty of choice and hot, although other guests could have kept the lids shut on some occasions. Make sure you keep Saturday night free as the Turkish night looks the business. We booked into the Asia restaurant that night which like the others wasn't great as choice very limited (5/6 dishes)

Location is the middle of now-where and if you were blindfolded and put there, you could think you were anywhere and not Turkey. Only when you go outside the complex, do you know where you are.

Entertainment was OK, and the E3 staff worked their guts off to keep everyone happy, although not all the acts were of equal quality, and some quite frankly should have stayed home!

We just arrived back this morning from the most amazing holiday we have had in traveling with first choice in the last four years, we had orginaly booked last year for the corfu aqua beach only to be told this would not be opening then was changed to blue bay escape but after reading reviews on this site decided to change to the palace what a perfect change.

There are so many pro's to this complex :-

A choice of five pools on the palace side one small splash pool next to main pool for the kids as well as a shallow pool within in kids club area with a slide and water spraying shutes.

Main pool were we stayed most of the time is just amazing to swim in especially when they turn on the water fumes 10:00-12:00 & 14:00-16:00 (same as slides)
Nice to be lying next to pool side and getting water splashing on you from these.

Activities were good during day with the regular water polo game at 14:30 every day, most other activities were aimed at families which were good fun.

Food was always very good and varied you could always find something to eat, only wish other holiday makers could cover up dishes once they had helped themselves to keep dishes warmer, there were almost always two chefs cooked fresh meat dish of some kind for lunches/dinners had steak twice in one week.

Breakfast's were all your usual stuff toast cereal's fry up's pancakes always pently of fresh fruit available, sausages were hot dog type and bacon was usaly serviced twice a week, but you could always find something to eat omlettes were freshly cooked while you wait which were realy tasty.

Evening entertainment was very good, crowsfeet island for the kids then bingo a quiz and a show of somesort i.e audience volunteer shows like mr & mrs or a live show this was in ampitheatre lasting to around 11:30pm
Pool bar was same sort of layout of show's, music, bingo, quiz and live show lasting to 12 midnight.

My daughter was eight whilst on hols and the e3 team sang happy birthday with one of the charcters from crowsfeet island present a cake and a cd whixh she thought was brill.

Kids clubs, these were such an improvement on what we had been used to all aircon and a very big area for kids to go in my kids loved going to them they clocked up 28 visits each in the two weeks we were there, sessions usualy last 1 1/2 hours and 2 hours on the night session 21:00-23:00 which were movie nights chocolate party(payable
